...alrighty I've nearly completed the storyline for my RP...unfortunately two seperate and very different locations came to me while still working on it...so I've decided to let you the public decide where this will be taking place...a brief discreption is as follows...


The Twisted Tower of Doom

"Long ago a Dwemer architect left his clan to strike out in search of his ever growing thirst for knowledge. For years he roamed several provinces, seen wars, fought monsters...but eventually these were all for nought. One day he happened across a Daedric Shrine, seemingly empty he decided to make this his new home and set to work rebuilding it. While observing the Altar at the center of the Shrine he happened across a spoon that stood upright. Puzzled by this he attempted to remove the spoon only to have Sheogorath appear before him. Outraged that a heathen God would be part of his new home the Dwemer was almost ready to give up hope and return to his clan...not one to be ignored Sheogorath made a wager with him...the Dam Dog said that if he built a great tower in HIS honor that he would allow the Dwemer to keep his mind...the Dwemer agreed and so begin construction on a migthy tower to challenge even the great Adamantite Tower. The Years rolled by and the tower was nearly complete but the architecture was a perverted mess of doors to nowhere and stairways to pools of water. Disgruntled by being tricked by Sheogorath the Dwemer demanded to be retributed for his troubles...when Sheogorath denied his request the Dwemer climbed to the highest point of his unfinished tower and threw himself to the ground below. Inraged by the Dwemers insolence Sheogorath took over the Tower and buried it under the ground...where it would remain for 5000 years..."

"A Necromancer calling himself Grada had heard this story and went in search of this Tower having travelled for years with no success he was awakened one night by a group of Golden Saints. The Saints led him through a long twisting cave and to what seemed like Grada to be a summoning room...as the Saints watched Grada stepped forward and touched the still standing on edge spoon...Sheogorath then appeared before Grada and told him of the Dwemers insolence and that the greatest creation in Sheogoraths image was as yet unfinished.
Sheogorath made a deal that if Grada could finish the Dwemers work Sheogorath would give him powers beyond his wildest imagination. Always one to try to get ahead Grada accepted and the ground started to shake...the Tower had rerisen from its buried location near Fang Lair in eastern Hammerfell..."

"The Empire in its time of unrest has decided to open and explore the tower. One of Grada's companions, who had been captured, revealed to the Legion the stories about the Tower and Grada's obsession with finding it...he revealed that a Daedric Prince was the Towers patriarch and that by now it was swarming with Daedric forces and Undead Legions...fearing an all out attack His Imperial Majesty Uriel Septim VII has sent word to the fartherest reaches of Nirn that any who should brave the Tower and stop the Necromantic Grada would be well rewarded as the Legion has been in the area for nearly a month and the dark doors have just opened...its also risen nearly 2000 years ahead of schedule..."

I am of the mind that Lord Gasbags Arena should be the setting, though I am unsure as to the name Gasbag... it seems to detract from any drama in the tale

...it's an Arena man, much like the Canton in Vivec...in case you haven't noticed I'm attempting to kill some people...that should be dramatic enough...and Gasbags a well...a Gasbag who talks to much...

It could be a not-so-subtle reference to something. Seems like Nords and Argonians like names like that.

...Gasbags a Colovian...not an Argonian or a Nord...although you know how Nords like their bloodsport...

BTW, your signature, small thing. "It's sounds is like..." is incorrect; it's is only used as a contraction of "it is". "It is sounds is like..." isn't right, "its" would be correct.

...he has no followers...the captured guy was just a tag-along who got lost along the way...and believe me there are far more annoying folks then you...at least your being helpful...and a Daedric army could be sent in by SHEO in like 5 seconds...thanks for the insight though...

...I dont know if I can hold a torch next to Lor's greatness...however her's are more of the social variety, while mine are more action oriented...allowing for people whos real life schedules conflict with the RP's timeline...I'm still working on some things but I think it will be great...

I'll be moving toward more quest-based RPs in my next efforts I think, though I do love my social events

I personally vote for the tower, in the spirit of the upcoming Halloween; a mysterious tower is more evocative of creeping dread and supernatural horror than an arena - arena's are more the brutality of man and the struggle to survive, which is cool in of itself but isn't quite as Halloweeny

Lets put it this way. I will not contribute. My buisiness takes precedence over pleasure and of late I have been very busy and will only get more busy. This will probably be my last appearance here for a while as my buisiness takes me away. But don't worry. By the time I come back I will have thought of a very good poem to throw to you dogs.

The Tower tale sounds not really in keeping with lore. The Arena, however, sounds like a good setting.

Remember that the point of any forum rp is to give people a stage on which to play their characters, along with a little direction to get them moving. You don't have to write the whole story yourself, and if you do, you leave nothing for the players to do in it.

And as far as your sig goes, "its" is correct. "it's" means "it is". Look it up.

Besides...i think i got figured out how Reichi would end up in something like the Arena.Then again hes not exactly adverse to combat so it wasn't too hard.

...I dont see what your seeing at all Allie...it was unintentional if you think I wrote the story all by myself that was purely a little background information...but I'll go back and look again...and yes "it's" is supposed "its"...I just dont fix it cause it's a great conversation starter...

I like twisted tower better, but depending on when it would be held, I might not turn up.. have it on a weekend or somthing (maybe a Friday?)

...fear not o' master of insanity...because the show will go on as planned...made some arrangements, bribed a few people, blackmailed some others, and bought out the rest...so the RP will go as scheduled...I'll begin the setup tomorrow...or now...or fifteen minutes from now...the only real problem I'm faced with is the 'Spike...it currently won't let me in...so if anyone wants to help ol' One out and tell him wth he's doing wrong feel free to PM me...please...
