it's no surprise that the TES forums have the best role-players, but it's still
a pleasure. Thanks all who participated.
And Allie gets the Creativity Award among stiff competition for her Void Ranger
turn into the broken staircase. Made me go, "Huh?" and then laugh out
loud.

For those of you younguns who don't
remember the Void Rangering days of Daggerfall, I found a screenshot of Allie's house, as seen
from the Void:

You can buy this house, if you want. It's the most expensive house in the city

Apparently, since the Warp in the West, the foundations of the Mundus have been much more stable.

Only real regret is that I had to leave after the first day or
so, and never could find where the story was going so I just kinda watched...completely lost.
(besides, I gota bout 3-5 other lont-term
RPs going on other sites and I couldnt
keep up with this addition sadly)
Posted by: niceguy5 Oct 23 2004, 05:30 PM
that was fun, oh i wish i could've made monaa fight in
the battle last night, oh well (stupid computer )
and let future RP's be just as good

worthy even

I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m not much of a group
role-player. Sure, I can participate from afar, but my lifestyle doesn’t allow
me to be around enough. Oh well. . .
Nice job, everyone! I cannot wait to read through all the posts.

D'oh, I
missed all the action last night. Thanks for making another great RP Loranna. The daM doG gets a special trophy for participation thank you for posting so much . Thanks to all of the other characters that RP'd,
there ain't no RP like a lore forums RP, deaths, Clannfears, and Guards. A special thanks to Harg, for a wild party involving a Cow. I do wonder what
the next RP will be, anywho, thank you

Thanks B
... Does anyone else feel quite as wiped out as I do after this event? I still kinda feel like I'm reeling a bit from everything we did;
thinking ahead to my next ideas is becoming as terrifying for me as it is
exciting.
Incidentally ...
Part one was 275 posts
Part two was 621 posts
Part five was 234 posts
Part six was 264 posts
Part 7:) was 554 posts
Grand total: ... 1948 posts, made over a five day period.
...
............ You get the feeling we all collectively owe the moderators a
really big group hug?
Oh, as for the body count for the final scene ... I'm guessing we all killed
about fifty guards. At a guess. Cause, you know, double kills and syff; the original eighteen guards probably had a few
suckers who drank some real strong healing potions before the fight so they
jumped back up after getting killed the first time in oder
to go for seconds and thirds. Plus there's also the One Guard, Two Impressive DeathBlows therorm, which states
that if two PCs aim for the same mook, the guy can't
fully die until he's been pounded on by everyone taking a shot at him
Now aren't those guards glad no one broke out the eighteen hit combos?

Hello to all you high-educated scholars, brave fighters,
mysterious magicians, bards of great wit and everyone who was involved in this
RP.
I just wanted to thank all of you for creating such a wonderful story with so many
twists, unforeseen events and a lot of suspense! Unfortunately I had to drop out silently during the second night
but my real life forced me to sleep when you started the big action, no
offense, just an excuse
Loranna already told that she tried hard to overcome
the issue with timezones but just lacked some
experience points to influence time Nevertheless, you really did a great job!
Maybe I manage to turn my day-night-rhythm upside down around Christmas so I
get the chance to "really" take part in a RP.
I'm looking forward to your next RP,
greetings, Robin
P.S.: Of course, a big hug to the moderators for tolerating 600-post-threads!

It was great fun reading this! And my small but strange part was
fun as well. That blue robed Khajiit is still
wandering Oblivion and posting in the fourms.

It was not as random as you might think. The khajiit
came in earlier, then left...however he dropped a small box. It was found, then
forgotten for about 100 posts. That's when I came back in and dissapeared again!
If you read the first spotted owl topic you will see...

really care.
No offense to anyone intended...and I do plan on looking over parts 4 and 5
soon as I get enough free time.

I don't think anyone here takes offense. It gets quite tedious reading all of
those posts.

Try keeping up with all those posts while having five or so characters in the

good stuff to participate in.

would miss to much if i read everything.

Yeah, I was sad to see several people drop out because the
thread had gotten too big for them to keep up with.
One suggestion: instead of trying to read 30 pages of posts before joining in,
come to the chatroom and talk to people. I pretty
much skim all the posts, but if you just ask other people in the chatroom, hey, what's going on right now? they will usually
tell you enough to get going.

posts per page...

We've all got to start somewhere. None of us have experience the first time we
play.

In the same boat, W0nder...love TES, Love RPing,
but the problem is that since I'm so lore deprived that I can only occasionally
follow the story (and even then, I have to take plenty of notes in Notepad on
my home comp so I can follow).
Thus, if I'm to follow, I best put the entire Imperial Library to memory...
[leaves to TIL to learn]
[a few minutes pass by]
[returns after trying]
My brain hurts and I have failed utterly and completely...don't even remember
anything from there.

You don't really need to know alot of
lore to do RP stuff. If you hang around the lore forum for awhile, you should
know enough to RP.
It's really just important that you don't throw in anything that's completely
outside of the ES universe (which is a pretty big place!). If someone brings
something up that you don't know about, just do a library search.
Posted by: Aki Oct 28 2004, 11:57 PM
You could always play the 'adventurer who never learned any
lore' card and act like that. Not every persn on Tamriel is a a loremaster exactly.
Posted by: SEKKA Oct 29 2004, 03:07 AM
or be insane then you can make up your own lore
Posted by: w0nders Oct 29 2004, 08:44 AM
hehe,
thanks everyone...I might join in the next one...if i
dont miss it

Danrit!
Missed out because of internet dumbassness!! (I still
had the tapdancing steam centurian
in the carriage parked out front too! Imagine the carnage to those poor gaurds if it had done its Pirouette of DOOM!)
Oh well... maybe next time.
