"I knew it...now the games are truly afoot..."

*One slashes through the remaining guards back towards the road out of town...his hands are fully glowing and a stare comes across his face...*

"Follow me," Allie yelled to Arynel. "If you can't get through, take your Mark and get out - this place chills both flesh and spirit!"

She returned to the broken stairwell. The place might have been custom-made for Void Rangers. Surely it was the blessing of the Daedra of transitions.

"Do something stupid - like swimming on dry land!" she said. "Stupid things work for this!"

She herself hopped in the air on one foot, then plunged like a diver... and landed badly on the broken wood below, and tumbled down the stairs.

Samson and Harg look at the werewolf, the guards by now not really being all that much fun.

Loranna-Azura groans "Oh spotted owl ..." and looks back when she hears a crash in the tavern.

"Welcome back dears ..." she mutters quietly, turing to look at the werewolf.

Hakan picks up his fallen axe, throwing it once again at a fleeing guard and killing him from behind...He then hears the sounds that haunted the nights of Solstheim so often..turning to see a man-sized wolf tearing apart guards and a torn Morag Tong helm behind it..

Louis sees the battle progressing in favor of he and his companions, he senses an arrow whistling from the side and deflects it with his sword...the number of guards was now dwindling.

Reichi turned his attention from the Knight as a arrow impacted whats left of his armor.He jumped on one knight and used him as a springboard, and jumped to a roof where several archer were hifding.One, not wanting to fight a werewolf, jumped.the other drew back their bowstring to fire.Reichi leapt at the closest one and sunk his fangs into his juggular vein and pulled his head back.Ripping the vital vien out, the man was dead within secounds.The other two got their shots.Both hitting the remains of the armor and sticking in it.Reich idispatched one with another throat swipe of his claws, and knocked the other off the roof.

*Seemingly using all his mana to focus on this one spell he casts a fireball which lights up the immediate area...its nearly so bright with flame he cant stand to look at it...it lands on the roof near Reichi and catches the entire neighborhood on fire...he falls to his knees and watches as the rooftops burn...when he regains his strength he uses his staff and walks out of town...*

I concentrate on my Magicka, thinking of a spell I made called "Vita Mortis". Speaking the words of power, I cast the spell upon myself. I'm bathed in blue ethereal light, and my wounds close up. They still hurt, but that still pass in time. Also, I may need to replace my armor...

"That was interesting," I say off-handedly to Loranna.

"So long as the beast doesn't go attacking us.." Hakan thought. Retrieving his axe again he let it hang from his belt and went again to the guard hunting.

Louis saw an archer fall off a roof not far away and charged him...cutting his skull clean in two like a melon. Taking off his heavy robe he wrapped it around a guard's eyes, blinding him, making it easy to run him through.

Reichi is knocked from the roof by the concussive force of the blast.As he falls he sees who cast it.Reichi , while he had minimal control of himself like this, recognized who.

The N'wah...im helping them....maybe he can't recognize me? Reichi thought befor elanding on the ground and rushing back into battle, many of the Knights began a retreat.A group of people they knew they could handle with some casualties, same people with a werewolf.Well the odds were unfavorable to say the least.

Louis rushes inside what's left of the nearly destroyed tavern, grabbing his cloth sack and bringing it out, drinking down a potion on the way

He casts Calm spells on the creature to see if it would stop its killing long enough to restrain.

Within ten minutes, he had arrived.
Azura, Darius, Harg, Samson... Yep. They lived. The others, too. He walked over to Rilis, healing him and other wounded Direnni.

She found she was breathing hard, her heart rocketing inside her chest. She turned to Arynel.

Of course in his hurry and the calm spells returning his clarity of mind and ruining any instinct that would have guided him in this run.Reichi ran straight into a tree, head first.He slumped to the ground still in werewolf form.Like a dead werewolf , a unconscious werewolf stays in his form till the transformation runs its course.

With that Louis disappears in a flash of light, back to Vvardenfell to continue his overseeing of the Mage's guilds and his personal studies...of course after relaxing for a few days.

I nod and turn away from Loranna, walking about with my Lay on Hands spell prepared. I find others and heal them, but my magicka reserves, already severely depleted from the fighting and previous adventuring, has taken its toll. I simply head to a nice little tree without any ruckus and sit, watching the others.

Hakan sits down by his crate, which still sits on the tavern step, and amazingly untouched during the battle. Reaching his hand in to see if everything is there, he moves a pouch of coins aside to find a knocked over tankard of mead, the lid still preserving the sweet nector. He laughs loud and deep as he realizes he had a single pint left of his favorite mead, "Ha! The best mead in the world...who will share a pint with me in memory of this night?"

"We should probably be well away from here before morning," Allerleirauh said. She swapped rings, and unlocked the chains of the shivering tavernkeeper, who, though splashed with gore, was unharmed.

"Go somewhere else," she said. "Try Daggerfall, since Elysana hates you. And take this, and my thanks."

She offered him a pouch of gold.

She grinned at Hakan, and accepted the mug. "Here's to... our luck, however it finds us!"
