Arynel glaces over at Rilis.

"If you say so." The Breton says, and then takes another drink.

"My lady," Allerleirauh said, laughing, "You are dressed well enough to sit in a hall where two guests have fallen through the ceiling. I myself slept in a hayloft last night, and it shows. Don't be troubled over a stain."

"I have been bartering and persuading for many a year friend," Hakan says with a smile, "and something tells me you hide the full truth behind your teeth."

"May your rulership be kind and just, Majesty," Loranna says with a sincere smile. "You'll be a true credit to your family name I'm sure; may this be your first step on a long and prosperous path."

"Very kind of you, your lordship, but I couldn't accept. Perhaps I could borrow something though from someone? ... even a man's tunic would be preferrable to this rag ..."

"All hail King Rilis then!" Allerleirauh said, rising. She lifted her glass, then drained it. "A fine excuse to drink!"

"Excuse me, I don't believe we've met yet," the lady says to Loranna. "Tynnea Castellian. I don't suppose you would have an extra dress I might borrow in your room?"

Loranna blushes slightly. "Well met lady; I'm Loranna."

Frowning, she mutters " ... Hmm; well it might be a bit long for you but I do have a dress upstairs ..."

Rising, she starts walking toward the room she appropriated. "This way?"

Rilis stands and bows, ignoring Hakan.
"I am thankful for your blessings on my rule."

Arynel turns towards Rilis, laughs, and then returns to his drink.

"Very kind of you, Lady Loranna, to help out someone you don't even know," says Tynnea, following her. "I will back in a moment ... Tavernkeep!"

The Tavernkeep nearly falls over: "Y-yes?"

"No one pays for any drinks while I'm away!"

Hmm. Allerleirauh noticed that the woman had ignored her comment about the dress. She tried to catch Arynel's eye; she felt that he also mistrusted the woman, but perhaps that was merely because she was probably married.

Reichi got up and walked to the bar.Where he got a mug of some Imported cyrodilic brandy, and began to drink it.Once he was back in Vvardenfell he could have some greef or mzte..or maybe sujumma instead.Some of the booze he was more acustomed to.Rather than this imperial stuff.Or what the folk around here made.

Arynel finished his drink, and smiled at Allie. "How are you, this day?"

The Tavernkeep does not accept Reichi's gold. "Your drink is ... free ..."

Hakan pats Rilis on the back in a very Nord-like manner, "Don't worry yourself about it, i have no interest in taking your island from you," he then whispers, "even if your authentic claim isn't yet established," raising his voice to normal level again, "But it would be nice to have my own island, if i someday find one i truly like. If i had some mead i'd drink to your acquisition...no matter, once i return home, it will be done."

With a meaningful glance at Arynel, Allerleirauh said to the tavernkeeper, "A woman of some means, then? What's her husband's business?"

Loranna smiles, a strange little smile that starts off as though it will become cold, almost mocking, but which somehow ends up being the girlish grin of a young, happy Nord lass. Well, except for the tiredness around the eyes, that is.

"Your words flatter me lady ..." she says, opening the door for Tynnea. "There's a blue dress in the top draw; it should fit, save for being a bit long as I said."

"Oh, it's beautiful, milady ... Thank you so much for your kindness. If you would tell everyone I'll be down in a moment?"

"Of course dear," Loranna says, smiling knowingly. "See you in a little bit."

She turns and closes the door, heading back down to finish off her beer.

Reichi nodded to the Bar keeper and took his gold back quickly.He took a large swig of the mug, and surveyed the tavern.Wondering what he missed.

The tavernkeep smiles somewhat nervously at Allie, opening his mouth to mutter something like "Well, you know ..."

When Loranna returns, however, the tavernkeep gets much more nervous, and looks like he's not going to be much good for answering questions.

*Having overheard the generous offer for free drinks One makes his way to the bar and orders a Nordic Mead in the Tankard he previously had...he takes a drink and sits at the bar...*

"I wonder what his problem is?"

Well... Loranna's coming back, alive.

So her first instinct had been in error. Still, something peculiar about that woman. Why come here tonight, instead of earlier in the week?

She sat down, and took a few moments to update her journal for B.

Reichi takes note of the tavernkeep's nervousness growing as Loranna approaches.Maybe i missed something BIG?

Loranna smiles sadly at Allie, and closes her eyes ... but she opens them again; if Allie noticed, she can deduce that Loranna was going to say something to her mentally but decided against it.

Samson and Harg, both having been lingering by Loranna's room (well, a few doors down), both float back to the common room, though Samson lingers near the stairs and occasionally pops back up.

Allerleirauh finished writing and closed the journal. Those nearest her were happy, as she had an annoying habit of rapping her quill sharply against the table while she thought, of which she was entirely unaware.

She looked around for a moment, blinking like someone who had just awoken.

"That woman's still not back?" she said. "Arynel, I'm not cutting in on your pleasures, am I?"

"No, of course not." Arynel answerd Allie. "I was being generous to a stranger, that was all."

I watch Loranna, my face etched with concern. I saw her leave, of course, but everything happened so suddenly that I couldn't really do anything but drink. Unfortunately, having an all-too high alcohol tolerance really makes the drink do nothing for me... well, maybe it's not so back a thing.

Standing up, I tell the barkeep that I'm stepping outside a second, and slide over to the door. I step outside and then around to the side of the tavern. Making sure no one's looking, I reach into my pack and pull out a simple-looking green robe. I don it and feel the magic begin to flow through me as it taps into my Intelligence, giving me an added boost. There's also the effect of increased Magicka, but I figure that's useless for now.

Walking back inside, I study Loranna briefly. Deciding that she might be ok, I stand next to her.

"So are you ok? Both of you?"

Reichi finished off the mug and placed it on the bar.Which he was currently leaning on."Man...its quieter in here than a Tomb."he remarked.

"I dreamed of you last night," she said. "Or rather, I dreamed of the Tower, and a brilliant explanation that would make everything plain as the nose on my face, and woke thinking I should speak to you."

She sighed. "But dreams of the Tower don't translate well... it's easier to dream of being brilliant than to be brilliant while awake. Or, as in my case, slightly intoxicated."

"Yeah strange events will do that to ya..."

*Ami still hasn't returned...which is now becoming concerning to One...*

"Do speak of your dream, Allie." Arynel said. "Despite its causes, I would be interested in hearing what you have to say."

Loranna blinks, and looks up at Tharivor with tired eyes ...

" ... The Prince of Moonshadow is always all right ..." she mutters quietly. " ... My Lady and I are ... subsisting. These past few days have been very revealing for both of us, and I fear I've been a very, very foolish young girl ... but I don't have the energy left to complain much."

She smiles. "I'm just sitting down for a bit, letting my Lady and I sort out our thoughts, and then it will be time to go east."

"Having not participated in many recently i can say that its rather boring.I'd almost refer a full-scale "Oh NO! the world is gonna end!" type panic.At least that is exciting."Reichi responded, looking over at One.

"I could arrange that if you really want it," Loranna calls over to Reichi, causing the tavernkeep to duck behind the bar.

" ... That was kind of fun," Loranna says, smirking just a little.

"What the...I've been around this guy several times and everytime he smells of Wolfsbane..."

"Reichi wasnt it? Yeah a panic would be a sight to see...but after what happened last time I dont think I'd like to participate in another strange event...but sometimes strange events seem to follow you around...say do you smell that?..."

*One looks at Reichi with a curious look...*

Solin strides quietly over to where Arynel and Alleleirauh are conversing, he does so love these kinds of discussions.

"I've seen the Tower," Allie said. "Don't be surprised. Anyone can see it; you saw it before you were made, when Lorkhan saw it, and the memory is still within you. Vehk speaks of a wheel, but to me it is as my mother described it; a tree, a hollow tree, with many branches. The safe place is inside. Or... I'm not sure safe is the right word. It's a good place to seek shelter, in any case. For no one would dare harm you there.

"There aren't words," she said. "Perhaps it's nothing like a tree. How can a tree be shaped like an egg? But you can see it from the Provisional House, if you look in the right direction."

"Just as I said before , I plan to follow as far as my body can take." I look around. "Even if the Mad God is following two steps behind."

"Heh...im sure you could."Reichi says and grin spreading acrss his face."Though..that might be a bit too much.Esspecially for the 'keeper.He seems ready to have a heart attack if so much as a drink spilled."

"Ah, I have heard of these things." Arynel said to Allie. "The Tower, The Wheel, The Provisional House. Tell me your thoughts, would you?"

*One glances at the Innkeeper seemingly scared out of his wits...he looks quickly back to Reichi...*

"So...what is it your professing in Reichi?..."

"Ok theres something seriously wrong with this guy..."

*One glances out the window...noticing the Moons he turns back to Reichi...*

"What?Ashes?"Reichi asked while he searched his robes for something.He pulled out a burnt piece of paper."Oh...right...why'd i put that back in my pocket after burning it?"he mumbles to himself before tossing the it away.On the paper on the word 'Writ' is legible.The rest is burnt beyound recognition.

Loranna smiles. " ... It's strange for me the mortal to hear people say such things to me," she says, blushing a little. "My Lady appreciates it of course but to her, it's only natural; to me it's still like I'm in a fairy tale."

She frowns. " ... But being in the fairy tale sometimes blinds you to what's around, too," she says. "... My Lady may ask you to go abroad on a quest for her while she does work elsewhere; without her full powers she can now only be in one place at once, you appreciate ..."

"Hmm...somethings diffenitely going on with him...perhaps a Detect Creature spell will reveal some light..."

*One then glances at the burnt paper Reichi just threw down...*

"Well I guess that answers that question"

"I have trouble telling it," Allie said. "Perhaps if I were a bard, as you are. I have a pleasant voice, I'm told, but I only sing the songs of others. Nigedo knows the Tower from Vehk's writings, with his mind. I know it with some other part of myself, like lightning in clouds.

"The Provisional House, though, I could show you, if I didn't already fear for your sanity." She grinned. "Not that I know how to pick Vehk's pocket. But every Void Ranger knows how to go where he went."
