The Elder Scrolls Forums _ Elder Scrolls Lore _ RP: Playing Houses

Loranna's Notice: Yes, I know there are two sets of rules right
now; we are currently revising the boilerplate intro section, and this is a
work in progress.
(yes I know I'm being slow in the revision; please be patient
RP Rules:
Hello, and welcome to our Elder Scrolls Role Playing threads, where we
adventure and socialize in the vibrant land of Tamriel.
Before we begin, we'd like to clarify a few things:
Loranna's Roleplay, while an open roleplay where everyone is invited to
join, is not a limitless or unregulated game. There are rules we have set
ourselves that make roleplaying easier and more enjoyable for everyone of us.
Please take the time and read the following guidelines carefully and, more
importantly, act according to them.
1. Have fun!
2. Fun does not mean you can do whatever you want, though.
Let us please clarify some points. While everyone is welcome to join in, they
are NOT welcome to jump in and do big, world-changing things without DISCUSSING
IT FIRST. Let me be very clear about what cannot be done without permission:
Affecting other characters:
Any action that effects another person's character, for ill or good. Although most
people realize they can't harm another person's character without permission,
many don't realize that you can't HELP another character without permission,
either. Many characters have flaws for a reason. Don't go healing, saving, or
otherwise fixing another character without DISCUSSING IT FIRST with the player
involved.
Major Events:
Any event that would drastically change things that have been done to the
world, whether the change is physical (rebuilding destroyed locations),
political(converting a population to a new cause), military (killing off all
the badguys) or anything else. Almost every situation, good or bad, that exists
in the RP was done for some reason. Don't go changing or fixing things without
DISCUSSING IT FIRST with the group.
For the purpose of coordinating this RP, backstage fun and discussing current
and future events, we have established a chatroom on chatspike.net, chatroom
#Loranna_RP. We strongly recommend that you have a glimpse in there, since it
is the easiest and most convenient way to discuss characters and settings,
explain rules, plan and give you the background information you need to play in
this RP. You can find information on how to join the chatroom ((((//HERE\\)))).
Here are various other rules, tips and information you should take time
to read before joining this RP:
1. Background History:
Loranna's RP has accumulated a rich background history. Of course, no-one can
know all that has happened in this RP, but it is important that you have at
least an idea about the major events that took place during the last
one-and-a-half years. There are a few posts of Loranna that explain the history
of the RP from her character's viewpoint and a summary of the events in the RP
is in progress, you can find them ((((//HERE\\)))). Another summary is
available as text file from Nalion, please ask via our chatspike channel or per
PM to Nalion for the time being. We are working on a more permanent solution to
provide this information.
The chatroom #Loranna_RP on chatspike is probably the best and fastest way to
get yourself informed about the RP, just ask the moderators and long-time
players there if you need any information. They will gladly help you. It is
also very advisable to read up on the most recent posts and threads to become a
grasp of what is happening right now in the RP. This will significantly help
you in finding a way to join the action and will reduce the probabiliy of
mistakes.
2. Reading and catching up on the RP:
We're a dedicated lot of players, and we love this RP. This means we put a lot
of effort in our posts, do a lot of planning and discussing to create our
plotlines. This requires time and dedication. And we require this of you as
well. This means, take your time to read the posts of the other players and take
the time to catch up on the plot if it progressed while you were away. This
simplifies your rejoin into the action. It is also a sign of respect to the
other players. If you don't have the time to read their posts, why should they
bother with yours, then?
Again, please let me repeat this, for it is very important. If you are not able
or willing to put time and at least reasonable effort in this RP, think again
whether you want to join this RP or not.
3. Gathering information
Gather information about the RP, be it asking in chat, by reading older posts
and getting up to date on the history or by asking via PM. No-one can know
everything, sure, but everyone can ask about what happened. We're glad to
assist! Again, this can not be done without some interest in the ongoings in
the RP, effort and a good bit of dedication.
4. Roleplaying
Roleplaying doesn't just involve making your character say something
(in-character chat). It also has a descriptive element. Motions and emotions of
your character, worries, joys, mimics, movements... we want to see them!
Describe how your character acts, this gives you a better grasp of your
character and will help your fellow players build up a relationship to your
character. It's not only action and big fights we have here in this RP, there
is a major social aspect to it as well.
5. Posting
Try to take your time to post. Yes, we are aware that there are hectic scenes,
like in big combats, where some things move faster, but is it in general a good
idea to look over your post again to check it. Yes, we know it sounds stupid
and obvious, but please care about spelling, punctuation and grammar. They are
not just things you learned in school once to forget afterwards. We are no
decryption experts. Those grammar rules have their meaning, and there are tools
out there to help you(word spell checker for example). Again, the chat is a
perfect way to ask for
time and coordinate with other players if you have problems.
6. Character control / multiple characters
Once more, about controlling characters that belong to other players: You
cannot control a character that is not your own (with a few exceptions, like
having talked to the player of the character beforehand). This means most of
the time the following:
* In combat, you can only try to attack another character, but whether
you hit him or how much damage is inflicted is up to the player of the
character, and only him/her.
* This applies to healing or helping the character as well; feel free to try
and offer help to a character, but let the other player describe the effects of
the healing/helping.
* Especially in combat, you have to work closely with the other players, the
chatroom is the best and easiest method to discuss these things.
Another thing related to this topic is referring or speaking to other
characters whose players are not online. If possible, try to avoid involving
characters when their player is not present. It ties down your character while
waiting for the other player to come back, and you don't know whether the
respective player has other plans when he is back.
Additionally, avoid generating scenes where you involve a character, affect him
with an action and finish the action before the player can react (stealing,
attacking, casting spells or similar actions). Example: No running up to
someone, rob him and run away to safety all in one post. This is a no go.
Controlling multiple characters. We have no written limits on how many
characters you may control; the limit is you. In general, it is very advisable that
you stick to one character when you are new to RPing. When creating a
character, it is VERY important that you consider your character carefully.
Again, this has something to do with effort and dedication. It is generally a
bad sign if you join up, post a couple of posts and then say you are bored with
this character and make a new one. Other players might get annoyed greeting and
introducing their characters to a new character when it is obvious that this
character will not last long because the player gets bored with the new
character. This RP is a social RP as well, and it is very difficult to
socialize with a character that is badly played, where you can see by the style
of writing that the player is already bored with the character and will throw him
away at the next opportunity. RPing is all about characters and your character
is your "representative" in this RP, your voice, your arm, your mind.
Please take this into account when creating and playing your character.
As a general rule of thumb, use only one character until you feel comfortable
with him, can control him, have fun with him and the character is established
in the RP. The rest will run automatically after a while when you get more
confident and experienced in RPing.
7. Secret plans
Secret plans and surprises are seldom fun for anyone else. Before they're
revealed they're boring, because nobody knows about them, and afterwards
they're just annoying, because nobody knew about them. Examples: Your character
suddenly remembers that he has a castles all over Tamriel and calls in troops
to help. Or: Your character suddenly reveals he is a spy of the Emperor and
knows everything.
8. Ingame consequences of character actions:
Morrowind the game was rather lenient when it came to direct consequences after
a character's action. This is not the case in our RP. There are laws and local
customs, and there are guards and other authorities that are there to enforce
them. So, starting tavern brawls, stealing, murdering, open assault and all
other related actions are very likely to be persecuted and punished (this can
go up from your character ending up in jail, being banished or to be executed).
This doesn't mean that there are no murders or thefts in the RP, but it does
mean that if you do that, be aware of the consequences your character will have
to deal with.
9. Additional helpful information:
Please make sure that you read the following posts of Allerleirauh ((((//link
here\\)))), dealing with some of the above mentioned rules, as well as the hints
on character generation done by Loranna ((((//link here\\)))). Please take the
above mentioned rules and information into careful consideration, they will
help you in joining this RP quickly and are useful to avoid problems. And more
importantly: act according to them!
** Not following the above advice will only result in two things: your
post is likely to be completely ignored by everyone else as if it did not
happen and/or you are asked to leave the RP. This is obviously not good for
anyone, so please, discuss major events before doing them and act according to
the rules mentioned above. **
Thank you, and have fun!
Hello, and welcome to our Elder Scrolls Role Playing threads,
where we adventure and socialize in the vibrant land of Tamriel.
Before we begin, we'd like to clarify a few things:
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE NEW!!!
===
Newcomers, we ask you to
http://www.elderscrolls.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=141737&view=findpost&p=2871855
before starting up; everyone will be happier for it. Also,
http://www.elderscrolls.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=141737 as soon as
possible; this will give you an idea of who is in the RP.
To help you get up to speed, here is
http://www.tc.umn.edu/~rhod0091/lrp/temp.html. This summary doesn't cover
everything but it sums up some of the bigger events our campaign has covered.
Note: She will probably update and edit this summary as time goes on.
===
This is an 'open roleplay' and everyone is encouraged to join in at any time!
'Open' roleplay does not mean 'unorganized' or 'limitless', however. The
events in this story are usually planned, and if something BIG happens, you can
be certain that it is the result of much discussion between players, usually in
the mIRC chat (#Loranna_RP, Chatspike server). This is not just a bunch of
disorganized individuals doing what they think would be fun for their character
at the time.
So, while everyone is welcome to join in, they are NOT welcome to
jump in and do big, world-changing things without DISCUSSING IT FIRST. Let
me be very clear about what cannot be done without permission:
1:
Any action that effects another person's character, for ill or good. Although
most people realize they can't harm another person's character without
permission, many don't realize that you can't HELP another character without
permission, either. Many characters have flaws for a reason. Don't go healing,
saving, or otherwise fixing another character without DISCUSSING IT FIRST with
the player involved.
2:
Any event that would drastically change things that have been done to the
world, whether the change is physical (rebuilding destroyed locations),
political (converting a population to a new cause), military (killing off all
the badguys) or anything else. Almost every situation, good or bad, that exists
in the RP was done for some reason. Don't go changing or fixing things without
DISCUSSING IT FIRST with the group.
Everyone who is involved in the RP is welcome in the mIRC chat channel
#Loranna_RP, on the Chatspike server. If you have a plot idea then you are
encouraged to go there and discuss it. If you cannot get on the channel for
some reason, or if the player whos character you would affect with your plan is
not there, then PM them using this board's PM function. That's what it's there
for.
If you do not have MIRC, you can http://www.chatspike.net/?p=javairc. Enter in
a nickname where prompted and hit Submit. You'll be asked if you want to trust
the signed applet. Hit Yes, and you'll be in the main chatspike channel. From there,
type /join #Loranna_RP
You'll enter our chat channel and we can talk to you.
Not following the above advice will only result in one thing: your post is
likely to be completely ignored by everyone as if it did not happen. This is
obvously not good for anyone, so please, discuss major events before doing
them.
Remember: Secret plans and surprises are seldom fun for anyone else. Before
they're revealed they're boring, because nobody knows about them, and
afterwards they're just annoying, because nobody knew about them.
Thank you, and have fun!

Summary for Loranna: Loranna is in Ald Raathim, having just recently met with
the ambassador from the Empire to discuss the building of the Imperial Embassy
in Ald Raathim. She has also spoken with Nalion regarding his findings from
Firsthold's Royal Library, and has renewed hope for Goranthir's future.

As I write, I am currently en route to Cheydinhal. Its a lovely
town, and its close enough to the action of Morrowind without being too deep
into it.
Well, I got a very sour letter from Llana, asking me why I sent her to Ald
Raatham... I havent bothered to reply that she could make a great fortune
there. I heard Indoril Faryon climbed the Kragenmoor Peak, and got some
information on what the Royalists are plotting. I think he is getting quite
worried, with all the setbacks of late.
Anyway, Ive got my room all sorted out in Cheydinhal, you can see the mountians
from the window, which is indeed a relief.
I'll see if there is anything worth writing tomorrow

Summary: Shaka, an Argonian battlemage, is sitting with Anya and
Kiseena in the Nymph and Noggin.
Shaka applauded P'Rassha's story. The Khajiit seemed to have an inexhaustible
number of them. It was a talent that Shaka had never really possessed, but
would have liked to own.
He studied Anya, sensing that her hunger might be growing again, if her body
language and words were any indication.
"Anya, if you're thirsty again, I hope you know that I'll help," he
said quietly.

Summary
Kethiah, the very pregnant ex-assassin, ex-co-proprietor of the Nymph
and Noggin with her (not ex, but current) husband Isidor, ex-excise
(ex-excise?) and ex-export/import agent (and secretly ex-Spymaster) for the
Duchess of Ald Raathim, is in her room, sleeping. When she wakes up, she will
be doing precisely nothing on Healer's orders until she gives birth, and it is
driving her crazy. The one plan she has so far is to get a Mage tutor for her
and her stepchildren, Tyradil and Tilitalia.
Alas and Alack, Khajiti former smugglers turned "Gentlemen
of Leisure" (and secretly Loranna's new Spymasters, in theory) are on
their ship "The Senchal Rose" in Ald Raathim's harbor, making some
kind of a deal with Llana, a document expert.
Diano Asprenas, the new Imperial Ambassador to Ald Raathim, is staying
at the castle while his embassy is being built next to the Mages Guild.

The Nymph and Noggin
Magister Zadion stepped out of the garden with his small pouch. For some
reason, the herb garden at the Nymph grew fire fern much more prolifically than
the herb garden at his own Guildhouse or at the castle. Kethiah had given him
permission to harvest a bit when he was running low.
He gave the barkeep a few gold for it, and squeezed his way through the crowded
tavern, and into the night.

Zadion could be seen through the dirty window handing the parcel of herbs to a
man. A Breton or an Imperial, it was difficult to tell, for he was an usual
specimen of any race. He was pale to the point of opalescence with a face that
looked like it had once been very handsome before some unspeakable suffering.
The dark circles under his eyes bespoke exhaustion, but the eyes themselves

Together, the two men walked up the stairs to the second floor, talking.

She glided towards the door, easily using the shadows to her benifit, aided by
an unearthly quiet. Once near, she pressed her ear on the door, seeing if
anyone was near to either catch a conversation or sneak through the door.

With Anya's vampiric senses, she could hear the conversation through the door
as if she were in the room. Zadion was talking to the man, who definitely had
an Imperial accent.
"Could it be a Keerilth?" Zadion asked.
"Very unlikely," the man responded. "They don't travel far from
northern Valenwood. Montalion or Garlythi from the west. Volkihar, perhaps,
though I don't think they like the warmth ..."
Then the voices faded as they went to the second floor.

Looking upward, Kiseena began to use her acrobatics to their highest potential,
scaling her way up the wall using only her claws and the few features of the
building she could find useful. Eventually she came to the same place she had
been, just one floor higher. Again, she slowly peeked an eye through the window

pointed upwards to try and relay that the two of them had gone to the next
floor.
Looking upward, Kiseena began to use her acrobatics to their highest potential,
scaling her way up the wall using only her claws and the few features of the
building she could find useful. Eventually she came to the same place she had
been, just one floor higher. Again, she slowly peeked an eye through the window
to this room.
It was a bare bedroom with a very uncomfortable looking bed. A second bed was
in the room, with a dirty sheet covering was seemed to be a human body. It was
still, not even breathing from what Kiseena could see. A corpse.
The two men, still talking, stood over the body.
It twitched. The man was still alive.

Anya entered the house, the door proving no trouble. With
Invisible in full effect, she lightly padded towards the stairs. Keeping quiet,
she slowly made her way foward, close enough to smell the two men, her nose
twitching, a third.
Wondering why Zadion would have reason to slink about in the night, she made
her way closer, trying to get a view. She wondered what those names mentioned
where too.

"It's an effective spell to stun them for a day," the man was saying,
as he and Zadion stood over the covered form which had begun thrashing. "And
then it wakes up, and it's mad."
Zadion pulled back the sheet, and there was the "man," such as he
was. His face was hideous, pallid, twisted, all fangs and fury. A vampire.
"He looks like a Berne or any of the local varieties," Zadion
frowned. "The ones in Tel Dresori --"
"It," said the man seriously, changing Zadion's use of the
pronoun. "Is not of Morrowind. It only looks like this because it has not
fed in seventy-two hours. Beast!" he said, addressing the vampire.
"Do you know who I am?"
The creature growled, still thrashing. The chains that bound it glowed red,
obviously enchanted. "Movarth Piquine."
"That's right," the man nodded, not smiling. "So you know you
will die the final death tonight. The only question remaining is how long you
will suffer. That is up to you."

saying didn't help matters much.

Anya liked to think she was rarely suprised, but this caused her
to nearly gasp. Stifling the exclamation, she silently cursed. This spell would
bode ill for her if they ever found her secret. She would need to tread even
lighter than before.
She noticed the scents were different, she should have noticed sooner and was
upset at herself that she didn't. Movarth Piquine, so Master Zadion was
cavorting with captive vampires.
She studied Movarth, trying to understand why he would have a vampire chained
to a bed, starving.

She studied Movarth, trying to understand why he would have a vampire chained to a bed, starving.
The vampire snarled and writhed, but Movarth merely looked at it with cold
hatred. "I have three questions for you. Answer them all fully and
truthfully. What clan are you?"
The vampire hissed at him. "Bonsamu."
"Really?" Movarth said. "Zadion, would you fetch me the
candle?"
Zadion brought it. When Movarth put it next to the vampire's head, a greenish
skull could be seen beneath its skin.
"So you are," Movarth nodded, still not smiling. "Very good. Has
your Clan infiltrated Tel Dresori?"
The creature shook its head violently. "No! It is not us!"
"Do you know who it is?"
"The Karath!" the creature answered.
"Is that possible?" Zadion asked Movarth.
"Even likely," the pale man answered. "And one more question
--"
"You said three!" the vampire hissed.
"Did I? Well, I'm having such a good conversation, I don't want it to
end," Morvath said. "How many vampires are there other than you in
Ald Raathim, and who do they have influence over?"
The vampire looked at him with wide eyes. "I don't know."
A black mist drifted down from Movarth outstretched palm, and at their touch,
the vampire howled in immortal agony.
"I don't know!"
"I don't believe you," Movarth said quietly, and continued the
torture.

Anya frowned, she wasn't as familar with vampire clans as she
would have liked to have been. Come to think of it, she didn't even know the
name to her clan. She was familar with the ones in Vvardenfell and the
surrounding areas, and that was about it.
Anya wrinkled her nose as the candle was brought near the vampire. Paying close
attention, and mentally tracking the time she had left with Invisible, she
simply watched during the torture. She didn't know the vampire, and the
information would be much more valuable.

Frowning, she pulled her head away to glance down. She couldn't see Anya, but
hoped to the Clan-Mother that her friend wasn't close enough to get into any

"Unlikely," Movarth said coldly. "We sometimes don't recognize
them, but every vampire can spot another one easily. This beast has been in Ald
Raathim for weeks now ... He's surely --"
"In the ruins of the Drunken Guar!" the vampire screamed.
"There's one! I don't know his name or clan, but he sleeps in the ruins of
the cellar during the day!"
"There we are," Morvath nodded, still not smiling. "Who

"That is the only one!" the vampire screeched. "Please! You said

"I'm in no hurry," the pale man said. "Who else?"
The vampire never spoke again, only screamed. Eventually, the mist drifting
down from Morvath's hands turned from black to white, and it lay still.
"I think we got everything out of that one we could get," Morvath
said to Zadion. "Maybe the one in the Drunken Guar knows more. I'll take
him tomorrow morning."

Anya grimaced and bared her teeth and fangs at his final death,
though with Invisible, she didn't show them anything. She was glad that this

She wuickly gathered her wits. Quietly making her way outside, the Invisible

Much of the Guar had already been torn away by the workers, using its stones to

over an hour to search the place thoroughly, particularly knowing that a
vampire would be good as evading detection. Eventually, Anya had to conclude
that it was not there. It was doubtless somewhere in the night, hunting,
unaware that its sanctuary had been found.

Shaka sat at the table for a while after the two women had left, thinking. He

had had to in the past.
She had regained so much of her old personality that he tended to forget she no
longer breathed, no longer had a beating heart. Anya had desires and pressures
now that he couldn't really understand, and Shaka wasn't about to join her in
undeath in order to understand.
I still love her, though. Maybe this respite in the war is putting everyone
on edge, wondering when the other shoe will drop. Sometimes I think I'm the

the ones they have, just as we are?

Summary:
After his and Loranna's little verbal mishap in Firsthold, and after they had
both arrived back at Ald Raathim, Slyvos took to making sure all his books were
still in their place, and was still going through the massive collection he
had...
------------------------------------------------------------------
"no, this one goes here... no wait, here." He placed one of his
copies of the Arcturian Heresy into place near one of the other books that was
of a similar type. He didn't organize by alphabetical order, but by what type
of knowledge the books had, and who had written them, if applicable.
He then noticed one of the books was missing. It was by far the most vile tome
he had in that collection of his... "WHERE IS IT!?" He scrambled
about looking for the book, looking frantic at it's loss. It was one of his
journals, the one that held the darkest knowledge he had ever discovered... and
one of the few such tomes that hadn't burned with his tower up in Solsthiem. "wait,
phew... here it is, it got stuck under Legions of the Dead..." he locked
the chest once more with the most powerful wards and traps he could afterwards,
making sure that the only one who would every get to his journals would be him.
And then our khajiit hero leaned back in a chair somewhere in his library, and
fell asleep for a little cat-nap.

After Zadion had left, Movarth Piquine spent the night going over a large map

regions Kiseena had never heard of. It was almost like there was a different

she detected another predator in the area. The part of her that was a creature

Fight or flee.
Then her sense of hearing kicked in, and she heard the tap of clawed feet in

It was a dog, but it was a vampire that squeezed its way between pieces of

Anya smirked, and remained crouched at eye level, "Pretty trick. I wish I
could do that."
Anya shook her head lightly, "Just a social visit, but it could turn into
a fight, it's really up to you. I just want to know what you know."

Slyvos
looked up from his book, closeing the volume slowly, which caused a bit of dust
to come off of it. He hadn't bothered getting the dust off of it when he took
it from his study, so turning the pages made a bit of a mess.
"hmm... I suppose I could, depending on how much time they'd be willing to
put into learning it. Magic isn't really useful except in very menial tasks
without quite a bit of effort put into learning it..." and yet somehow
Loranna got very good at it in a small amount of time...
"Well, anything you can do is greatly appreciated," Isidor said.
"Want me to see if Kethiah's awake, so you can talk to her?"
Posted by: Dagoth Lich Jan 27 2006, 04:12 PM
Slyvos nodded, leaning back a bit in his chair and finishing up
the bottle of flin he had in front of him. "Of course, if she's willing to
learn, I'm willing to teach."
He motioned for one of the barmaids to bring him another flin, as he was still
thirsty as could be.

I said this was a simple social visit, but it could be a fight if you wanted. I
never wanted your gratitude, I found it pathetic that you would assume I came

Her stance betrayed her incredulous view, "I only came for imformation,
not your trust. You certianly seem to enjoy infering more than you really
should. Besides, I told you I doubted these were just vampire hunters. I
know you're better than this, I know what our nature enhances."
Anya turned, as if to leave, "But since you already told me you have

As he walked, he thought. It was good to be back in Ald Raathim, to be around
people he cared about, and, he hoped, cared about him. The city would be

Something to look foward to, at least, he thought, as he wandered around.

This night was quite a night. Usually, P'Rassha is a reasonable khajiit, but it
seemed he lost all sense of reason. Was it Dana? His story? Violetta? Something
else? Nobody knows.
After his storytelling, he asked for more bottle of alcool a normal man could
handle. Fortunatly, one needs more than that to kill a nine feet tall bipedal
jaguar. Unfortunatly, it was enough to get him drunk more than necessary.

... hrn ..." Loranna frowns some. "I've heard the Redrorans and
Indoril lodged a complaint about certain Mage Guilds refusing to stay nuetral
in the war ..."
She looks over the scraps, wondering what could be in Tel Dresori, her frown
deepening. " ... A half-starved western vampire, being
interogated?" she asks. "And another vampire? Tell me
every detail you can, please ..."
Anya thought for a moment, recollecting the various names she had found out.
She then began recounting the details of the conversations to Loranna. She
included the names of the vampire clans, Keerilth, Montalion, Garlythi,
Volkihar, Bonsamu, and the Karath. She recounted how they seemed to be looking
for the clan that had infiltrated Tel Dresori, and were looking for Vampires
here that might know.
She then recounted her encounter with Lahkbar, but it didn't include much,
since it wasn't much but mud-flinging. "What could be going on in Tel
Dresori?"

Valerius gave the money to the bartender as the Khajiit's drink came, replying to him, "Valerius. I'm a leiutenant under Slashes-With-Claws, maybe you've heard of him? Either way, just helping out a fellow bar patron with a free drink."
P'Rassha heard Valerius mention the Commander Slashes-with-Claws and approached
with difficulty. After all, it's hard for a Khajiit with an height greater than
the ceiling to navigate through a room full of table and guests while having to
much alcool in your veins.
He said with difficulty: "P'Rassha knows about Slashes-With---something.
P'Rassha fought with him...Hey, P'Rassha fought with you too, Valerius.
Let P'Rassha sit a bit please."

The Senshal Rose
There, it had taken all night, but it was finished. She looked them over with a
eyepiece to make sure there were no flaws, and the Copy of the "Camoran
Usurper" which the twins had ordered was wrapped up in a brown paper bag.
Now would be the difficult task of looking for the mysterious kitties. It was
almost morning, so she expected to find them in the other cabin...

Summary
Kratos has received Loranna's reply to his letter. The ships are being loaded
and Molag Mar is being turned over to Helseth's Royal Army.
Ivelaes is on his father's flagship, loading his equipment and making sure the
fleet is ready to set sail.
Astien Dalomax is at the Temple of Dibella, greiving over the death of Maranda
and praying to the goddess for her.
QUOTE
Dear
Kratos,
I've been telling myself that we are fighting for freedom, and for the ideal of
a world where we all can be part of something greater than ourselves. While I
still believe in these ideals, I understand your weariness ...
Allerleirauh said it best, I think, at the end of the Dawn; the Tribunal are
your strongest and truest ancestors, and so long as you are true to what they
stood for, they will live in your heart. But in the fighting that's going on, I
think many people have forgotten that; it saddens me, but I fear the Tribunal's
ture glory is now reflected in shattered mirrors ...
I still have hope that someday, Morrowind can see peace - a peace I hope to
share in, be part of. If Molag Mar no longer needs you and your men, I welcome
you back as a friend and whatever aid you can bring as a grateful Duchess. I
hope you are able to find some sort of respite for your weary spirit here on
our shores; may your journey here be safe and swift.
We'll be waiting for you dear; give my regards to your son.
Dres Loranna Pyrel, Grand Duchess of Ald Raathim
Kratos gripped the Royal soldiers forearm in goodbye as he completed the
handing over of Molag Mar.
"For Almsivi and Morrowind, friend. Give these scum hell. I'll rejoin the
fight yet." He waved as he boarded his ship.
The ships weighed anchor and they put out to sea; the wind caught the white
fabric and the flagship seemed to float above the water if only for an instant.
They set sail for Ald Raathim.
Kratos stood on the starboard side of the ship, watching as Molag Mar became
ever distant on the horizon. "Farewell ..." Kratos whispered as
Ivelaes approached.
"Well, Sir, I see you've changed back into your Indoril Armor. I just want
you to know, I support you fully in every decision you make." The young
Dunmer said as he stood beside his father.
Kratos gave him a fatherly pat on the head, messing his hair up, and patting
him on the back.
"I know, son, you have always been loyal to me. But, you must also learn
to think for yourself, i'm not always going to be around to offer you
authority. Do you get what i'm saying?" Kratos asked.
"Yes, Sir." Ivelaes replied, trying in vain to get his hair to it's
original state.
The Grandmaster smiled and set an arm around his shoulders. "I support you
loyally in your decisions as well, son." Kratos smiled once more.
They waved to Molag Mar in the far distance.

always been one, is that what you're feeling, dear?"
Anya paused for a moment, the looked Loranna in the eye and nodded, not
speaking.

Dar'Tessir
smiled and thanked Valerius, but didn't seem to make much of it.
"Dar'Tessir is fine. He is starting to run low on funds but has a
job and can get more." With that he finnished off his Cyrodiliic
Brandy and motioned to the barmaid that he didn't want any more.
"How does Valerius like the army? Dar'Tessir is not the soldiering
type, nor the type that wakes with the sun."
"Well enough to make a career out of it," Valerius says to the
Khajiit, "My father was a military man, and his father, and on and on and
on. Family buisness, you might call it."
"What about you? What is it that you do?"

Shaka
hugged Isidor. "Let's ask Anya soon. Who better as a protector
for him or her? Loranna would be wonderful at it too, of course, but she
will have a lot on her plate for the forseeable future."
Shaka sat back again. "The funny thing is, I haven't been around
children much in my life. Never knew my parents; my village raised
offspring communally. But I'll try."
Isidor smiled, and hugged the Argonian back. "I'll ask Anya the next time
I see her. And thanks for saying yes, Shaka. I appreciate it."

Anya paused for a moment, the looked Loranna in the eye and nodded, not speaking.
Loranna smooths a hair out of her face, and looks at Anya with a concerned, but
hard, gaze.
"I think, dear, you should remember what you said yourself the night the
cure failed on you. You need to find your own answers to this, keep it from
beating you - but I can tell you, until you can accept yourself for who you are
without the curse, you'll not succeed in accepting yourself as who you are with
it."

"How can I accept this? This used to be the life I knew, the life I
wanted. Why is it painful to watch now?"

"Because you're not the person you once were," Loranna says, more
gently. "You've seen too much, done too much. You know now that there's
more to life than what you used to think; you have friends, loved ones, reasons
to live beyond just yourself and your own personal quests. You can't just
accept what you used to be, what you used to want."
"But you can't change who you used to be, either. That was a problem I had
to wrestle with uring the Dawn, myself. I couldn't ever be the Incarnate Mother
again, but until I could accept that at one point, I was that demon
girl, I couldn't rest easy with myself. You need to learn to forgive yourself;
that doesn't mean just brush off what you did that you can't accept now, but it
does mean realizing that you have changed, that things are different now."

Anya leaned foward again, putting her elbows on her knees, and her hands behind
her head. Her mind when through limitless kills, assassinations,
bloodlettings... When had she began to enjoy her line of work? When was it no
longer a quest for ill-placed vengence and had become a way of life? This had
been what she had chosen to mold herself into, blinded by hatred. Why did they
have to die? Why?
After thinking for a moment, Anya straightened up. "Well, you have the
report on Zadion, I need to leave before it's too late."
She stood up, her face showing a hint of anger, evidently not directed at
Loranna, "Thank your for your words, really. They hold truth, but I'm
afraid I've made choices that I can't change."

Anya gave Loranna a small smile, and left the castle.
She quickly made her way back to the ruins of the Drunken Guar. She was still
midly upset that it was destroyed, she had used it when she felt like a drink,
and didn't like the social setting of the Nymph & Noggin. As she entered
the center of the foundation, she sniffed, and snarled in anger. She was too
late. Zadion and Movarth had already arrived, their scents faint in the air.
The problem was, there was no sign of struggle, as far as she could see. So
that fool decided to swallow his pride and take my sweetheart adive.
She turned and left the ruins, she began sprinting back to the castle, aided by
Jump magic, leaping over obstacles easily. Quickly, she made her way back to
Loranna.
"I missed them, I was too late. I don't think they caught the vampire,
whether that's a good or bad thing, I won't say. You can round up Zadion at
your discretion, I'd wait until his friend was with him though."

Loranna was mildly surprised to see Anya again - and seemed upset to hear the
vampire slipped away from the vampire hunters.
"Great; now we have a confirmed child-killing vampire dog on the
loose," she mutters. "All right; I'll go find Zadion and see what
answers I can get out of him. In the meantime ... new priority for you dear.
Find that vampire and kill him; ask Slyvos to help you with this, tell him I'm
asking him to help you deal with any vampires you turn up."

She made her way to Slyvos' Library, and knocked on the door.

Slyvos had been leaning back in his chair, trying (and failing) to balance a
book on his finger tip out of boredom. Such ways to idle away time, when his
eyes were starting to annoy him from the reading for once.
When Anya knocked on the door, slyvos fell backwards on the chair, the book
falling on his face. He looked alittle dazed, as he acknowledged the person at
the door's presence. "It's not locked, you can come in..."

"well, for that 4000 years I was a skeletal creature, so I didn't focus on
physical capabilities... besides, this isn't naturally my body, so I'll never
really be used to it." Slyvos said with a roll of his eyes.
At the mention of Loranna, Slyvos' ears perked up. "really? what are we
hunting, precisely?"
