The Elder Scrolls Forums _ Elder Scrolls Lore _ RP: Morning Star Parade

Posted by: Loranna Jan 15 2005, 12:36 AM

In the previous installment of this thread, Loranna and the procession arrived in Vivec, where Loranna announced her intent to complete her pilgrimage and turn herself over for trial. There was a brief attack on the parade but it was swiftly deflected.

Now, the party rests in a reception given in Loranna's honor, as everyone wonders what's waiting around the corner.

As always, mirc irc.ChatSpike.net channel #Loranna_RP is our official chatroom for the event. Everyone who plays is welcomed and encouraged to join the chat so that we may discuss plot developments and swap jokes about our characters Those who can't get into the chatroom are encouraged to PM Loranna about any plot ideas or scene-effecting actions they have in mind; I will try to answer you with all possible speed.

Part Twenty Five begins ...

===

Summary for Loranna:

Loranna is politely enjoying the reception held in her honor in Vivec; she has just witnessed the verbal exchange between Reichi, Arynel, and the Werebeast Hunters of Tamriel and is wondering what to make of it.

Summary
Reichi has just gotten nearly given away as a Werewolf by Arynel. And has yelled at him for that. Unfortunatly the Breton pointed out that while he could have heard it, the others of the group lacking a sense of hearing as good as his wouldn't have.

Dar'var, might as well be out of the story by now. laugh.gif

Tarenen has made his prescence known, and is now demanding a case agaisnt the members of Loranna's Skyrim party at the office of the watch in Vivec.

Summary for Dagoth Lich: Dagoth is currently hiding amongst the crowd, listening to what is happening, and contemplating the Trial.

Dagoth starts wandering through the crowd, noticing the shock coming from some, and the anger from a few. 'These Dunmer blindly follow anything, and everytime they expect too much. .... *sigh* still, I should be thankful that Loranna will be free soon..... hey Loranna, you hangin in there okay?'

Lord Dres Jazbet, though uncredited, also took part in the conversation that led to the W.H.O.T. legion to the
Temple to petition for Reichi's arrest. wink.gifHe and his House brother Lord Wyrloc are at the reception.

Elysana, Queen of Wayrest, is resting at the Black Shalk cornerclub in the Foreign Canton with her battlemage, Herwyn. (No, no, no, just resting -- sheesh)

Bosriel, the little dark-haired girl, the Void Vampire, is in the Void with Leseth. She is very upset. Something has disappeared.

I'm doing all right; just wondering what if anything to suggest about Reichi's situation, Loranna answers Dagoth.

Loranna sips some cromberry wine. What about you, dear? How are you doing?

Loranna sees Jazbet and sips her wine again, disguising a small smile.

... Everything will work out in the end, she assures Dagoth. Though not many people here realize it yet, this was the right course of action.

... Sigh; there's so many things clamoring for my attention in my mind I hardly know which to turn my thoughts to first, she mutters.

Teleran is somewhere in the Foreign Quarter.

Tholer Rathryon is still enroute to Vivec, he made a wrong turn and is walking past Ebonheart again, his group is dissipating with each passing minute.

'Just relax Loranna.... block out the things you don't want to focus on at the moment... and concentrate on those you do...... just relax....'

Posted by: Arynel Jan 15 2005, 12:55 AM

Returning to his place beneath a tree, Arynel wove his arms and summoned up a lute. The Breton began to play.

As from a seed is born a blossom
So good things have unknown causes
As river runs from high to low
From the mountain onward flows
Until the sea at last it finds
Ever onward 'neath the sky

Dissent spreads quickly as a weed
And so planted is quick to seed
A bit of doubt placed in good soil
Turns a bit the unseen coils
Until the sea the river finds
Ever onward 'neath the sky...

Loranna chuckles mentally.

... When all this is over, she tells Dagoth, ... I think you, I, and Jazbet may wish to sit down and have a talk. What I have with each of you is wonderful and precious and I am thankful that I have it, but once I'm not the Incarnate anymore, things may settle into a different cast.

Summary -

Dane twisted his robes so that the water soaked out of it. Vivec was a big city, a city full of adventure. He dryed out his robes until it was damp enough to wear again, leaving the dock. Dane followed the parade into the cantons

... I don't know about being who I used to be, Loranna says with a slight smirk. That fool of a barmaid didn't know enough to avoid sending half of Tamriel spiraling into chaos.

Her tone becomes a bit more serious as she continues: ... I know the basics of what I want to be once this is done but the details elude me, and there's still a good chance that once things are done and over with my vision of who I want to be will have shifted again. However, there's at least one thing which I know won't change; I will eventually clean the messes I have made, no matter how long it takes. That gives me comfort, even if I'm still a little fretful about the particulars.

Loranna smiles.

... That's sweet of you to say dear, she says, giving Dagoth a quick mental hug.

... You spoke once or twice before about how you feel your mere existance hurts the world, and I said perhaps we could learn how we could both stop hurting the world and start helping it. I'm going to be dedicating my life to that once this is over, fates willing; ... perhaps we can both still learn how to do so, like I once hoped.

Summary: on the road south of Pelagiad:

Nalion had left Pelagiad last day by night, after he got information on a possible war between Helseth and Loranna's followers from a drunken soldier.

Nalion had not wanted to spend the night in Pelagiad, so he had set out on the road leading south-east, seeking for a shelter nearby. It was deep night already when he had left Pelagiad, and so he relied on a spell of Nighteye to find his path. Soon, a small farmhouse came into view. Not bothering to knock at this late hour, he just leaned on the wall, covered himself with his cloak and soon drifted off to sleep.

The dream was odd. Snippets from past adventures passed his mental eye, voices called out to him. He felt a dragging feeling, then it felt as if he was kicked. He woke...

And he got another kick from the Dunmer looming over him, shouting curses and motioning him to get off his land.
"I'm sorry, friend, my feet were tired and my eyes were weary. Here is a coin for your trouble."
Tossing a draken to the man, he gathered his cloak and got slowly back on the road, wiping the sleep from his eyes. Then, he straightened.
"To Vivec now." he said determined. "And to the end of this part of the path."

Heh; if you were too certain of what exactly you were going to do I'd be a little worried, Loranna says with a grin. Even I'm not totally certain yet how I'm going to fix things; ideas swirl around in my head but it's gonna take a while before I'm truly ready to clean things up without causing more messes. But that's fine; I have the rest of my days to do this, however long it takes.

Things will work out; good people are working to make sure they will work out, and whatever happens we're doing the right thing, and that's the important part. So for now, let's rest and enjoy the party; in a bit we'll finish the pilgrimage and get the trial going.

Loranna notes that Jazbet has a point, albiet one expressed more through his expression than his words.

Her cromberry wine gets one more sip and then is put down, and Loranna returns her attentions to the reception, though she does give Jazbet a soft smile.

Ebonheart:
"Humm, well, if all you wanted to know was where House Redoran stood."

*He takes a deep breath and opens his mouth to speak*
*A Guard Enters*

"My Lords.....*pause* Excuse me, but, I have just recieved a message of a rather strange nature. There has been some sort of announcement by this Incarnate/maid-person that she intends to be placed on trial..... In Vivec."

* The Altmer with glowing red eyes looks up towards the guard then back to Helseth *

*His face a stone*
"Well this has just taken an interesting turn"
"That is either the most idiotic maneuver ever or the most brilliant"

Watching for Helseths reaction he thinks 'well my little trip here might not be totaly wasted this comeing look should be priceless'

*

Helseth's face didn't change. This news wasn't a total surpise to him - his spies have worked well in giving him information, and a trial seemed to gel with what Helseth had heard.

"I noticed you didn't finish your answer, my good man."

Foreign Canton, Vivec

In the murky little room in the Black Shalk cornerclub, Herwyn slept. He had, after all, endured a not-very-comfortable voyage across the water without complaint only hours after recovering from his near death by torture at Helseth’s hands. The battlemage twitched in his sleep. Elysana knew he was dreaming not only of the torture, but the strange, nightmarish images that they had both seen after leaving Helseth’s cells. The images that she knew were of Leseth's world, and Herwyn knew better than to ask about.

She knew she should speak to Vonnod, and Faril … And quite possibly attend this absurd reception they were having for the Incarnate. But the Queen of Wayrest was tired. She was afraid if she put her head down, she would sleep until tomorrow. And there was still so much to do …

Summary-

Dante, has just made his way off the boat and is currently enjoying the festivities.

Illidan, is also enjoying the festivities somewhere....

Merciander, recalled into a strange room to escape harm.

Zero, dead.gif

Brum and Inzoliah, are both being held in the ministry of truth.

---------

Ministry of Truth-

"Get down there, you scum!" shouted one Ordinator, shoving Brum & Inzoliah down some rough stairs, into a small camp-like area, where others stood, all draped in commoners clothes and wearing slave bracers.

"What are you in for mate?" Asked one, particular handsome looking Dunmer, Brum, staring blankly back at him said, "I really don't know...I don't particularily care either, I only care about getting out of here..."

"Blimey! you're bloody crackers aren't ya? nobody gets out of here mate....nobody" Stated the dunmer man, holding up his slave bracer, "I could prolly shoot my way out here with fireballs, if it weren't for these damn bracers."

Brum scratched his chin then said, "What if I could get the keys, do you think you and you're friends could help us escape?" The dunmer man stopped and thought for a moment "Bloody oath mate, we'll help you out, exept maybe, this bosmer sheila here, she don't like fighting..."

"Very well....I'll see what can be done..." He replied, strolling off to where Inzoliah was sitting.

Posted by: Sheogorath Jan 15 2005, 07:22 AM

Jazbet slipped through the crowd, looking for Aricyn. He was not near the Incarnate, but surely the Nord was somewhere at the reception.

Posted by: Arynel Jan 15 2005, 07:23 AM

Arynel left the tree without a word.

And in silence the Breton entered the reception.

He looked around, taking in what was going on.

Posted by: Rhedd Jan 15 2005, 07:29 AM

(VIVEC, TEMPLE CANTON:)

It was a 'reception', yes, but hardly what anyone would deem a 'party'. There was food, to be certain, and wine in moderation, but the
Temple's idea of a party seemed to be an endless stream of priests, government officials, and well-placed citizens being paraded before the Incarnate. Each had their own agenda, and each skillfully worked their desires into the few moments of polite conversation that they were allowed before being replaced by the next supplicant. The entire event moved with a measured precision, as if directed by an unseen force, which it was; manners. This was polite society at it's most refined, and it was boredom incarnate.

The evening's attitude was not helped by the Incarnate's earlier announcement to be tried for her crimes. This subject was never mentioned, however. Conversation skirted it skillfully like something unpleasant on a path.

Looking a great deal like his wolf companion, Aricyn failed to stifle a face-splitting yawn.

ooc summary:

Allerleirauh has accepted Loranna's appointment of her as Mercy for the upcoming trial, and is accompanying Loranna while she finishes her pilgrimage before the trial begins. It remains to be seen who Loranna will appoint as Mystery and Mastery. She's at the reception for Loranna right now.

Doll remains with the freed slaves on an island off the
Bitter Coast.

Dragon and Skein are at Solunastra guild house in Daggerfall.

Mirea is spying for Allie.

Tris and Ciel are circulating at the edges of the reception; Ciel wants to keep an eye on Loranna, but they're afraid of bumping into Elysana.

Loranna had picked up a skill somewhere along the way that was coming in somewhat helpful now; when in a social gathering that was not really all that exciting, find some things to enjoy about it and focus on that. In her case, this was her earlier conversation and joking with Dagoth and the simple fact that no one was attempting to kill anybody.

Looking around, Loranna sees Arynel and excuses herself for a moment, rising to head in the direction of the Breton bard.

"As I was about to say, our current position is to not involve ourselves in this ‘distraction’ ".

"You have asked us here and offered us nothing, to do nothing, then nothing is what you shall receive from us." "If nothing is all you expect from the Telvanni then I suggest you don’t even bother contacting them, they may just take it as an insult."

It seems that when she came into Morrowind, she brought a fleet of ships, and at several points along the route, a ship would dock, and her soldiers would be let out, to join your group in small numbers. After discussing the whole thing out with Inzoliah, she heartily agreed, then they lost themselves in an inaudible whisper of their plans for an escape.

After five minutes of sitting still, Brum quickly bolted underneath the wooden board platform where the ordinators guarding the place stood, He slipped further under it until he found a recognisible gap in the wooding, he waited for one of the guards to pass over it.

"Hey, where is the freaky Nord looking guy!?" One of them yelled out, across the assorted group of ragamuffin prisoners, they all simply shrugged, "RRrrr..." He walked quickly across the floor, Brum could hear his footsteps so he waited, patiently.

"I'm not going to ask you again, wher--" He was cut off as he was dragged underneath the wooden platform, hitting his head on the way down, his sudden silence drew the attention of the other guards. From beneath the walkway, Brum winked at Inzoliah and silently slid the Ordinators sword out from underneath it.

Inzoliah quickly scooped it up and waited, for a guard to make his way down the stairs, when he did, he got the pleasure of cold steel, mixed with a fire enchantment to the throat, he quickly fell backwards and slid down the stairs. The dunmer man from before ran up to the fallen guard and took his sword, getting ready for a large fight, he said "Wow, you bloody people are crazy...." He paused, then added, "I like that."

Brum, before leaving his position quickly snapped the guards neck, producing a rather satisfying snap.

"I'm listening. Why do you hesitate to tell the queen of this ship?"

*

'I don't know,' said Jazbet after a moment's pause. 'She has been supporting my House for some time now in our efforts to usurp Helseth. She has been, in a way, the greatest ally to the Incarnate's cause ... But her ways are ... I do not know what she intends to do, and she won't tell me or Wyrloc. I know she talked to you too aboard the ship. I thought perhaps that you had pieces of the puzzle which would make it clearer to me.'

Arynel looked at Loranna silently for a time.

At long last the Breton spoke:  "Write a letter on the page, and you find that without the page, the letter is immaterial.  What do you ask of me?"

*

Loranna ponders what Arynel says, trying to understand.

" ... I'm asking you to ... to take up another burden on this path, that you wouldn't have necessarily wanted," she says quietly. "A chain almost, for as Mastery you have to condemn, rather than speak your mind as it would truly be, one way or the other. Probably even more than that, that isn't occuring to me right now ..."

She sighs. " ... I don't wish to chain you Arynel; I've been unfair to you the whole time and probably forced you to act where you might not wanted to have, because I was doing wrong that needed to be addressed. I'll understand if you say no ... but in this, I trust you to know what the right thing is, and I can't yet do it myself; I have to ask others to help me, one more time. After this, may I never need to have to force others to such lengths again ..."

He didn't get approved for a appeal. The Officier of the Order of the watch had turned him down, saying his evidence was insubstantial, and that such a matter would have been handled in Skyrim. Tarenen and the Hunters marched out of the Hall of Justice/Wisdom. Not really noticing which of the halls they were in.

"Stupid Ordinators. Where the hell are those other louts i allied with anyways?" he said aloud.

Reichi however was contemplating his next move while eating and drinking.

Aricyn smiled.

"Politics, Jazbet, is an ugly thing. In my home, politics is smacking your esteemed opponent over the head with an axe. Times like these make me homesick.

"If any man alive claimed to know what Elysana was thinking, I'd call him a liar. I know she hates her brother with a passion, sometimes maybe even a blinding passion, and that's why I called her attention to the Incarnate's cause. I have NO idea why she's here personally, nor do I know what she might be thinking to get out of this other than revenge on Helseth.

There are a collection of rulers, each of whom the Emperor must deal with. It is the way it should be here. Teleran eventually made his way over to the Temple Canton to join back up with the main party, but thought better of it when he saw the ceremony in progress. 'Is the temple trying to bore us to death.'

So he continued wandering until he came upon Reichi, "Hey Reichi, how are you doing today? The Ordinators are certainly out in force today. How was your arrival?"

Inzoliah and the Dunmer man, later to be named Salay, charged forward, fighting a single guard each, Inzoliah quickly dispatched the one she was fighting with a particular amount of ease, Salay however, had a bit more trouble seeing as he was rather mal-nourished, but eventually he got him, but recieved a rather nasty cut on his arm for the effort.

Brum rushed over to the desk and retrieved a small key from it, he hastily unlocked his and Inzoliah's bracers and threw the key to Salay, who, unlocked his own bracer then unlocked everyone elses except for the small bosmer woman, still standing down by the fire.

Brum past off the 2 swords to some of the other prisoners, whilst Inzoliah and Salay handed there own out "This feels much better...." Mused Brum as fire engulfed his tightly leather bound hand, "Too bloody right mate...." Replied Salay, conjuring up a fireball of his own.

The large amount of Prisoners squeezed through the door back out into a hallway, where 2 guards had been drawn by the noise, "The prisoners are escaping!" shouted one, bolting back through the door to rally more guards, the other however drew his blade and moved in, to apprehend the criminals.

Almost instantly, 4 of the prisoners charged forward and hastily hacked at the guard, shortly, he was dead, they picked up his weapon and handed it off to yet another prisoner, "Let's do this..." muttered Brum, smirking delightfully.

... This was the right thing to do, she thinks to herself, ... but if I live through this I think I'll just stick to listening to Arynel singing from the other side of the room from now on. Least for a while.

Someone has entered the reception and caused quite a stir. A crowd quickly gathers around him. Perhaps not as large of a crowd as the one around the Incarnate, but an impressive one nevertheless.

He is a Dunmer man of middle age, but wearing makeup to appear younger, dressed in fine frippery. He chuckles and fends off compliments with practiced skill.

Aricyn's face drops. "Ah, the reception. No, we shouldn't miss THAT..."

The two men return to the crowd just in time to see the reaction to an interesting newcomer.

Frustrated, Lord Arhiban Hlaalu was just missing his chance to explain to the Incarnate about tax increases on saltrice.

Solin stepped free of the canton’s dark shadow and startled a dunmer passing by. Grey ash clung to his boots, telling of his recent time spent in Ghostgate. The Temple of Azura had been crowded but the Incarnate’s presence. Three men stood at the corner, they seemed to be holding discussion amongst themselves. The crowd attending the reception was visible from his position, only a canton away. The dunmer shook his tunic free of dust and stepped onto the bridge joining the constructed isles.

She caught Arynel's eye, and motioned with her head for him to meet her at the less crowded side of the room.

"Well,"  she said. "Fancy swordsmanship, for a lad, as Dragon would say if he were here. You cut through all manner of difficulties. She wants Solin for our third. Do you know where he is?"

*

Loranna mentally raises an eyebrow, curious as to why Allie took off so quickly ... then she decides no to worry about such things; Allie had her reasons.

Her gaze traversing the room, Loranna continues trying to gently find a topic other than food taxes to discuss.

QUOTE(Sheogorath @ Jan 14 2005, 10:39 PM)

*

(FOREIGN CANTON, THE BLACK SHAULK CONERCLUB:)

Herwyn tossed uncomfortably in his sleep, dreaming black dreams of blacker things.

The lanterns that lit the little room, their flames protected by glass globes, flickered wildly and threatened to go out.

"And so you return to Vivec, Queen." a low, quiet voice said from the back of the room.

'Lord Jazbet! You naughty kitty, I thought you were avoiding me, or dead,' the playwright. 'Where have you been? We have to catch up on old times.'

'Absolutely, just as soon as I can,' the khajiit smiled slightly. 'Really busy. Terribly, terribly. I just wanted to introduce you to Lord Aricyn, one of the Incarnate's chief companions.'

'A Nord,' Baloth-Kul said, straightening up, and looking Aricyn over. 'You remind me of my friend Julgen. It was years ago, he was set on by a gang of thieves. He fought them furiously, but in the end, they beat him into semiconsciousness. They searched his pockets and discovered that he only had three gold pieces on him.

"Do you mean to tell us you fought us like a mad lupe for three lousy gold pieces?" sneered one of the thieves.

"No," answered Julgen. "I was afraid you were after the four hundred gold pieces in my boot."'

The crowd giggles with the playwright.

Brum, Inzoliah, Salay and the group of other assorted figures all heard a large crash come from the floor beneath them, "Struth! what could've that been!?" Shouted out Salay, the fireball in his hand growing larger, "We need not worry, c'mon....quickly now!"

They burst through the door to find five ordinators awaiting them, Salay, launched his fireball, engulfing one in a heap of flame, Brum and Inzoliah defeated 2 each, with their own respected talents.

Meanwhile outside, an ordinator stood on a ledge "The prisoners are escaping! we cannot hold them! send reinfor--" He was interrupted as the door swung open, knocking him over the ledge, "AAAAIEEEE!!!!" He fell ontop of the archway of the highfane temple, producing a large deafining crack.

"Now what....?" asked Brum, looking down on the large crowd beneath them, "I'm ready to cast a recall spell, but, I've only got enough majicka for myself..." The group of prisoners all leaned over the edge, looking down on the assorted crowd beneath them.

Then, Salay spat, sending a surprisingly large glob of saliva hurtling towards them, "Bloody scum, have a taste of that..."

What was beginning to become a familiar feeling was coming over him again, the need to tear off this helpless shell of flesh and become his old self, invicible, able to step inside a wall and know everything. He suspected he must look a little wild-eyed; he could feel himself sweating.

Loranna raises an eyebrow, letting Baloth-Kul kiss her hand. "A pleasure to meet you as well," she says, keeping a polite smile on her face.

"That question should be answered soon," she says to the playwright. "The last act is coming up; just a little more patience and the show will go on."

Reichi was with someone he didn't know. He realized as he flew up on them that although he knew Reichi quite well from his days as a spy, Reichi didn't know him. And the werewolf had good reason to be nervous.

Ciel had crossed a canton already on his way to the Foreign Quarter. There were men lingering about on corners, in door ways, and on the ramps that watched as he made his way. He would likely see more since the incarnate was in Vivec. Those prisoners were strange, he wondered what they could be up to. It was a risk to the trial, it needed investigation.

Loranna nods graciously to the playwright, giving her leave. "Of course sir ..."

... Burnished by stroking fur? she wonders, flexing her right hand a little.

Teleran watched Reichi start off toward St. Delyn's. Then, when Reichi came back and went towards the entrance to the Temple, fell into step beside him, scanning the sky for flying mer as he followed.

Dante made his way across the bridge from the St.Olms canton, Getting closer to the temple a rugged Dunmer figure rushed past him yelling, "Get out of my bloody way s'wit!" Dante, never gave it a second thought.

Looking around the canton he noticed many things, the most abrupt and eye catching of these being the small group of Ordinators slowly climbing up onto the Highfane archway, to try and pry their fallen ally from it.

He looked up to the Ministry of truth, and noticed a door hanging wide open, and a few guards standing by it, as to stop anyone from entering.

Tris flew towards him. He was distracted by the slowness of flight. Imagine. This was as fast as most people ever went. The wind in his face was so mild, but the silence was the strangest part. No breathing, no heartbeat, just effortless soaring on air. He hated it. There had to be some way to make it faster.

He could see Ciel ahead of him; he adjusted his trajectory to touch down beside him. "Reichi's a little close-mouthed, as you would be, if you had his problems. Still I don't think this has anything to do with him. He doesn't seem nervous, in any case."

"Ah good, you found me," Ciel greeted Tris. "That's good, it will keep this from getting more complicated than it has..."

The knight trailed off, voice caught in his throat, as he looked across the canton. A couple was quickly approaching their position. He wanted to grab Tris and dive into the murky water below or flee around the corner. Both would be too suspicous. They would have to walk past her.

"It's the Queen," he remarked quietly. "With accompanyment." He Looked to Tris. This could cause Leseth to make good of his threats. Ciel shook his head. Why must this happen now, so close to the end? He cursed himself for not thinking to take a less direct route.

Herwyn wondered why his queen was so concerned with the two men, but he had said he would ask no more questions, and he did not.

Tris waited until they were well past to speak, then found his voice wouldn't obey him properly. That was the way he operated; calm enough one moment, hopeless the next.

"The necklace," he said. "Ciel - she's wearing it."

He hoped he was making sense. He hadn't seen the necklace since that day. He was remembering things he hadn't been able to remember before now. Smashing glass; the touch of dainty fingers on the back of his neck. Fear and defiance and darkness. He felt like being sick, but he kept walking. In a way it was a good thing that walking was so hard.

"Am I a wretched bastard that I'm glad she's wearing it? I've become so vile tempered since then. Yelling at poor simple-minded Loranna." He forced himself to calm down. "Your disguise - it worked."

Posted by: w0nders Jan 15 2005, 01:04 PM

One Ordinator made his way to the top of the archway, where he now planted his feet to help keep, his already shakey balance. "C'mon, get down....Hrmmm" The ordinator groaned, attempting the roll his dead comrade off of the archway, it would seem that a point of the archway had dug into his back.

"RRrrrr...damnit, Mortis, quick go grab a staff!" He shouted out in a strained voice, one of the Ordinators around him jumped down and ran into a nearby building, he quickly emerged with a steel staff "Good, now, give it here...."

He grabbed the staff and with all his might stabbed it underneath the corpse and lifted it, slowly but surely, the body began to move, and, roll off the archway plummeting into the mass of citizens. many screams were heard, and the Ordinators, they got their first good look of the wound on the dead Ordinators back.

It looked as if the back of the Cuirass had a huge chunk taken out of it, most likely it shattered from the long drop, inside the crater which was taken out of the Cuirass, there could be seen a large piece of bone, piercing his flesh, no doubtebly the mans spine.

And so the body lay there, still, almost haunting the people around it, as many of the citizens became rather frightened at the sight of it, namely one small dunmer child, who was closest to the bloody remains, eyes wide, tears streaming from them.

Ciel wasn't sure what Tris ment at first but, he recalled Elsyana had touched her necklace as they had passed by. His eyes widened and he made a quick look back to the couple walking away. They still were. Relieved, he laughed shaking his head, "What do you mean?" he asked not quite understanding. "Sometimes it takes yelling to get a person to notice you."
