The
Elder Scrolls Forums _ Elder Scrolls Lore _ RP Announcement: Evening Star
Parade
Posted by: Loranna Dec 3 2004, 10:15 PM
Hello all,
The story of Loranna's adventures in her quest to return Azura to Oblivion
continue in this next upcoming RP. Set in Morrowind, and starting in Gnisis a
couple of weeks after the conclusion of Trail of Frozen Tears, we will pick up
with Loranna in prison, and from there ... who knows?
... Well okay; from there we will probably be doing a bit of travel through the
land of the Dunmer, for one way or another, prisoner or no, Loranna's got some
places to go, people to meet, and things to do. No rest for the weary
Some important notes:
First, the official start of this RP is the end of next week; this time, I'd
like the announcement thread to really be the announcement, not the start of
the RP proper People
are still welcome and encouraged to do some preliminary setting up of their
characters in here to get them to Gnisis by the time things get rolling
however.
Second, there's been some request that the RP topics be slowed down a touch, so
as not to create 400 or so posts in a twenty-four hour period. Not only that,
but my own schedule is getting a touch busier in real life and I can't stay up
quite as late as I have been With
that in mind, I would like to ask that we try to take this RP a little more
slowly than the others. We can discuss ways to do this over the course of the
next week, though I for one will be making use of the fact that Loranna is
starting off in jail and thus has limited 'visiting hours' to good effect
With a slower, more sedate posting pace in mind, I project that this RP will
last longer than the previous ones I've run; the holiday season will probably
add to the length some as well. Should some particular part of the RP require a
faster pace, I'll mention it when I see it come up.
Third, we will once again be using the mIRC ChatSpike channel #Loranna_RP for
organizing people, discussing plot ideas, coordinating posts, and other good
stuff. This channel has now been made a permanent channel, with myself, Archie
the Moderator, and Allerleirauh as ops. If anyone has trouble getting into the
channel, please contact me and we'll see what we can do to fix the problem.
Fourth, the Golden Rule - Have Fun Be
courteous and non-spammy, and remember at all times that I AM a hopeless
lunatic, but that I'm surrounded by equally looney people on all sides, so it
all balances out, and we'll all have a blast!
(Note: No lunatics were harmed in the making of this post.)

Finally, a way for me and firemaster to have our characters
attempt to complete our plans.... which most of you know of by now I hope!
Posted by: FireMaster Dec 3 2004, 11:09 PM
Of course...things are now complicated Dagoth...I think.
Posted by: Two-Tails Dec 3 2004, 11:20 PM
YAY! we can finly get this over with!
And remember we need to include a beating of Vehk with a tuna/ slaughterfish!
Posted by: Dagoth Lich Dec 3 2004, 11:23 PM
And maybe an ogrim if we can find one!
Posted by: Allerleirauh Dec 3 2004, 11:24 PM
Allerleirauh claims to be a Nord, and in fact she was born in
Skyrim; she's tall and slender with silver hair. You can see what she looks
like in Morrowind http://home.wnm.net/~bgriff/MWAllie.html
I've had requests for info about Allerleirauh's household members in
Daggerfall. Here's the current roster of NPC Void Rangers at Solunastra.
Dragon: Nord male, an older man, heavyset, with droopy eyelids. No one knows
his real name; it's possible he no longer knows it himself. Due to an accident
in the Void he has significant personality loss; he never gets angry. Dragon is
Allie's seneshal, which means he runs her house in Daggerfall when she isn't
there.
Mirror: Breton male, young-looking, handsome and athletic. Mirror's real name is
Tris, but no one knows that outside the household. He's...well... vain. But
he's also a very good spy.
Doll: Doll also doesn't share her real name with people. She's a young
teenager; she has the stature of a Breton, but her features are like those of the
legendary, long extinct, men of Akavir. In other words, she's Asian. Doll is a
mage; she's too young for full duties as a member of the household.
Mirea: Bosmer female. Mirea has bright red hair and bright green eyes; she
wears a bright green cloak over red lacquered armor. She's also an archer, and
her arrows are painted and fletched distinctively, with a yellow and black
pattern. She's the other spy.
Skein: Imperial woman, dark haired and dark eyed, very lovely, but she can't be
young because she was a mature woman when Allie met her over 20 years ago.
Skein can foretell the future sometimes.

OOC: I seriously doubt Vehk will show up, he's in Aetherius and not looking to
return anytime soon.

This is the bio for my main character, who I will be using
primarily. Phyrdalion may or may not appear, it will depend on how the
"Amnesia" RP goes... (I'm sure it will have a new name soon.)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meciander had arrived in Khull, and it had been a long journey from Skyrim, but
now he needed to find Phyrdalion. He would stop by Gnisis for a spell, and see
if he could help the Legion with anything there. He found the strider port and
gave the caravanner his coins. "I hate these insects, there's just
something unnatural about them." Meciander said to himself. As they
arrived in Gnisis, Meciander spotted the andus tradehouse and decided to stop
in. He knew that was where Darius liked to stay, so he thought that he might
see how things were going in the outpost.

I'm going to be using Dane again, I'm pretty sure everyone is
acquainted with him from previous RP's
----------------------------------------
Dane regreted leaving Loranna and her followers but this was something more of
importance.
The guards opened the grand doors. Dane was dressed in cillvillain clothes,
striped by his military uniform. The noise from the crowd grew louder as they
saw Cyrodill's long-time hero
"Order, order in the court!" The judge pounded his hand on the wooden
podium. The crowd grew slient. The judge looked down at his sheet of paper then
to Dane. The guards put a firm grip on his shoulder.
The judge cleared his throat "There has been accounts where you have
helped a Daedra princess"
Dane stared at the wooden floor. The crowd whisppered.
"This is an action I would not like to see from any Cryodill, especially
you Dane and telling lies to our children about the Divines. I'm doing this
only because your my friend and have been serving as a knight for so long. Now
I want you to repeat this and your sins will be lost-"
Dane looked down at the floor as the judge recited the words from his paper. It
was nonsense all to Dane. He knew that the Nine Divines were false goods. His
whole life had been a lie serving under the wrong Gods.
"Now repeat it" The judge and the whole crowd looked on to Dane.
He hesitated "No" he paused "no I will not recite false
words"
The crowd gasped in shock
"Order in the court! Dane is now pronunce Heretic.I'm dearly sorry
Dane but you are exlied from Cyrodill and are demoted from a knight. Guards
take him away"
They snapped chains on Dane's wrist and took him out the court house and in to
the streets, where he grew up. Crowds of people looked on as they took Dane
across the city and onto the harbor.....

Elysana
Age: 41
Height: 5’8”
Hair: Blonde
Eyes: Green
Occupation: Queen of Wayrest
Notes: The daughter of the late Queen Carolyna and King Eadwyre,
stepdaughter of Queen Barenziah, stepsister of King Helseth of Morrowind and
Queen Morgiah of Firsthold. She won the throne of Wayrest after a bitter
struggle with Helseth, an impressive feat, proving her political acumen and
strength.
She has been queen for over ten years now, and has two children by her consort
prince. Under her, Wayrest has expanded its territory. A cold war exists
between Wayrest, Daggerfall, and Sentinel, and a much warmer one between
Wayrest and Orsinium.
It is said a serpent once bit her and died. Her admirers and enemies alike
routinely call her the new Wolf Queen. She is powerful and paranoid, utterly
ruthless and very, very smart.
Sheogorath
Age: Banana
Height: 48000 feet (in heels)
Hair: Luscious and brown and perky
Eyes: Two, roughly parallel, and blue
Occupation: Daedra Prince of Madness and Banker
Notes: A storm usually but not always precedes the arrival of the Mad God,
otherwise known as the Dam Dog. His personality veers between a charmingly
eccentric uncle and a blood-spattered homicidal maniac.
Posted by: Celezar Dec 4 2004, 12:53 AM
Name: Celezar (the mad)
Gender: Male
Race: Khajiit
Age: Unkown
Class/Profession: Advocate of Possession
Appearance: The looming Khajiit ressembles that of an old tiger, its lean,
powerful body wrapped and hidden within a black cloak. Beneath the hood the
muzzle of a tiger's mouth pokes out, and behind that a pair of fiery feline
eyes blaze like two rubies. The Khajiit's fingers end in wicked looking claws,
each one yellow and crooked due to a lack of hygene.
Some history on the Advocates of Possession: Of late, the influence of
Sheogorath has been growing widely, the powers of the mighty prince forcing
madness down the throats of helpless followers through many revolting methods.
Radical wizards and mages have classified this as a divine form of possession,
maddened ones preaching that it is the highest form of ascension and compliment
a mortal can receive. Advocates of Possession are the widely popular (among
Sheogorath followers) enforcers of these harsh laws of madness, taking
possessed thralls for there sick amusement and for the delight of there mad
lord.

Hey, Im mostly gonna be using Dante for this one..here are his
stats:
Name: Dante
Age: 28
Race: Dunmer
Appearance: Pretty much like a lot of Dunmer, has black shaggy hair and a scar
across one eye, also wears a burgundy cape that has been ripped at the bottom
so now it looks a lot more rugged (perhaps due to his adventures in Skyrim?)
Armour: All indoril, except for greaves, which are admantium
Other items (from adventuring): Dagger of Senses (given as a gift from Illidan)
and a magical ring with 50% resist magicka
Weapons: ebony long sword enchanted with reflect (mirrafori), also has a small
supply of ebony throwing stars and a slight understanding in the magic school
of destruction
Background: Dante’s past is very unclear to him before the age of 12, the age
when he got his scar. Since then a voice in his head told him to train hard and
strive for the best, when he was 18 the voice led him to his sword (mirrafori)
He then proceeded to train for another 3 years with his newfound sword. At the
age of 21 he acquired his Armour on the corpse of a fallen hero inside a tomb.
He then traveled all throughout Vvardenfell hunting and slaying many foul
creatures, He became a not-so well-known adventurer from all of his acts. For
many a year he continued on this path and became slightly well known, for this
the voice rewarded him by letting him know the first letter in his name “G”.
Now at the age of 28 he hopes to continue on his adventures to become a
well-known hero.
Also, Illidan may make a cameo so here are his stats also:
Name: Illidan
Age: 52
Race: Dunmer
Appearance: Rather attractive for his age, has extremely long light
grayish/white hair tied back into a ponytail that ends just above his lower
back, rather clear that he needs to shave as he has some light stubble around
his mouth. A rather nasty burn mark now coats his left hand also.
Clothing: He wears a commoners robe and a assortment of commoner clothes
also….to top of all of that he sports a rather fashionable pair of fingerless
gloves
Weapons: He wields only a silver staff
Background: Older brother to Dante, Illidan has tried to look after Dante his
entire life, but he is not much of a fighter as his brother NOW is. Illidan was
the only other person around when the scar was placed on Dante’s face and
perhaps knows of Dante’s life beforehand. Despite his lack of fighting talent,
Illidan makes up for it with a smooth tongue; one of his favourite pastimes is
heading down to the local tavern to do some Womanizing, one of his other….
“Gifts”. He pictures himself as a rather suave character and has had many
successes with it in the past, only to feed his monster ego. Even though he has
a rather shameful outside personality, deep down he cares for his brother and
would still do anything to help him. He has always felt guilty about letting
his brother get hurt the first time and has sworn to never let it happen again,
despite the fact that he has let it happen many a time.

*Erenius looks about the local tavern in Tel Branora and sits
there, looking into his glass of flin*
"Sir..." a Breton, obviously from the guild had come forth.
"Yes, what do you wish, Breton?" Erenius replies as he sips his drink
and turns towards him.
"Nothing of import...but apparently, if you plan things correctly, you
need never return to Vivec," he says.
"Now, first tell me your name...then tell me what you know of this,"
Erenius says.
"Very well...I am Jealarne Vecetornix," he says.
"Very well...Jealerne," Erenius says. "What have you?"
"I have recieved word that a person you may be looking for may not be
where you expect...but the source is of minimal reliability sadly,"
Jealerne says as he looks about. "However, an informant of mine...a
Temple-goer by the name of Arvyn Darethi. Anyway..she has word that this person
is going to be in Gnisis...that is all she told me, and all I can tell you
thusly."
"Thank you, Jealerne," Erenius says. "Now, if only I knew where
Azure might be..."
"As for him...it seems he left a notice in Blacklight which I found when
one of your former companions directed me to you here...apparently Azure has
left your charge and returned to somewhere in the West...either High Rock or
Hammerfell for sure I gather...unless he had reason to go to Colovia."
"Thank you," Erenius says as he finishes his drink.

Weapons-Black stone longsword(Griefbane),Daedric composite bow, Mehrunes' Razor
Armour-Full daedric mail
Clothing-A darkened cloak, common clothes
~Bio~
*He was born in Highrock, near Daggerfall. After the failing of the assault on
Battlespire, his Daedric Worshipping parents commited suicide. Lost and alone
he went to Daggerfall and wandered its deep underbelly, encountering many
dangers and horid fears. After being there for a while the Daedra took notice
of him, and annointed him a daedric Knight after passing tests. He then went to
Morrowind to try to destroy the Almsivi. Once he found that Vehk was gone, he
wandered around Vvardenfell, waiting for more orders. Without getting any he
began to despair. Also his power is beginning to decrease and he doesnt know
why.
Notes-Usually a friendly being, but is known it be sinical and possesing a
sardonic attitutude at times. He thirst for power and revenge and is not afraid
to even betray his friends to get that.

*The night sky was lucid, and the twin moons hung in the sky. He road steadly,
on the back of the giant Silt Strider. The driver has dozed off into a soft
slumber but the giant insect seemed to know where he was going.*
I know I do...I've had enough of this...
*He lay back and gazed up into the midnight sky.*
Azura...my patron...where are you...in Gnisis?...I guess I'll soon find
out...
*He dozed off into an uneasy sleep*

Heyza everyone, I'm Samuel, the flying Dreugh!
I might show up and play around with you guys, and I might not, we'll just have
to see.
But whether I do or not, I know of a guy who most definatly will. His name is
Arynel, and he's a Breton. He looks...well, all you land walkers look pretty
much the same to me anyways. I'm not sure about his class, he calls himself a traveler, but
others have called him a bard, and he might have a few connections to those
void rangers.
Anyways, he's got a past like everyone else, yadda yadda yadda. He's not rich
or anything, but he has a couple nifty things, one is a shirt Allie gave him,
it offers fairly good armor protection, plus a few protective enchantments,
he's also got a nice cloak Allie made for him, but I won't go into that right
now... .
Last time I saw Arynel he was walkin' around mainland Morrowind...
Posted by: Aki Dec 4 2004, 01:08 AM
Name: Reichi Sari
Race: Dunmer
Age: 125
Apearance: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v289/TK-123/REichiFinal.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v289/TK-123/Reichitrenchcoat.jpg
Weapons/Armor: Dagger of Senses, Dark Brotherhood armour.
Bio:Again, i am lazy to write up it in its entire. You can get Reichi to tell
you his life's story when you talk to him.
And because, In Trail of Frozen Tears during the incident with the
Were-hunters, Arynel used his 'knocka guy out with a sleep spell and he falls
asleep mumbling about his wonderful mother' trick on one of the hunters.....i
had a idea for a secound character.
Name: Dar'var
Race: Khajiit, Cathay (the 'normal' cathay, not Cathay-raht)
Age: 39
Apearnace: Like any Cathay or Cathay-raht Dar'Var resembles a humaniod jaguar
of sort, and is thusly covered in tawny yellow fur speckled with black spots.
Weapons/armor: , A steel crossbow with area effect enchanted bolts of varying
magicka types( the enchantment has medium strength can cause some damage if you
get hit directly, otherwise you merely suffer the magickal effects. ) Enchanted
glass armor with speed enchaments.
Bio: Dar'var was raised by the Were-beast hunters of Tamriel after his tribe
was anhilated by a Werelion ( he was one of the northern Khajiit, the more
tribal warring types). He had a unatural speed and agility, because of this he
was made the guild messegner and is sometimes dispatched to use his incredible
speed (due to his persnal speed and the massive power of his entire suit of
speed enchaments) to deal with troublemakers.
His first encounter ( indirect) with the group was in Trail of Frozen tears. He
had been acting as a scout for the Hunters (Led by Egnir The Swift (AKA the guy
with the wolf-helmet )) he was seen speeding away by Reichi, who couldn't tell what
the thing was due to his speed. Dar'var had followed the group and observed
them as the proceeded to dawnstar, while the lone hunter that Arynel had
stunned had awoken once a certain bosme rhad finished dfeasting on his comrades
and he made his way back to the local HQ of the guild.
Upon Dar'var's return he was ordered to find these people and kill them all.
Final note: so fast, he could move from ten feet in front of you to behind you
in under two secounds.Of course the weakness to this one is despite his speed,
he is fragile. If he loses his speed he becomes unable to fight effectively.
Of course, how you slow such a speedy beast is up to you.

Ok guys I am going to try and be in this RP but I have finals
coming up soon and some big papers due so I will try my best.
Name: Melampus
Age:22
Race: Dunmer
Weapon/Armor: All glass armor and stalhrim longsword.
Clothing: Exquisite shirt and pants. 2 exquisite rings and 1 exquisite amulet.
Over his armor he wheres an extravagent robe that looks like a giant spider is
on it.
Info: Melampus is a Cleric (think mage-warrior). He is in the Mages Guild. He
lives in Raven Rock at Solstheim. He was born outside of Morrowind. He spent a
few years in Elswyer and a few years in Black Marsh. Recently he fell in love
with a Bosmer Void Ranger named Mirea. He is a very...*excited* Dark Elf and
falls in love easily. He may be a Dark Elf but he has standerds. He has a
dagger of senses but he stores it in a chest at his house. He tries to learn as
much as he can about people by observing them. He prefers not to kill and tries
to use his magic to flee.

Daggerfall:
Allerleirauh sat by the fire. Her needle dipped in and out of her embroidery
regularly, as if it were driven by machinery. She was making a Velothi headcap,
traditionally worn by Dunmer babies. The embroidery was magical; it was
supposed to protect the child's soul from accidentally leaving its body, in the
first vulnerable months of life.
The other guild members were tending to various work; Mirea fitted fletching to
arrows, Doll read in her spellbook, and Mirror was doing something
incomprensible with the laces of his boots. Dragon looked up from polishing
armor.
"Yes, I know," Allerleirauh said, not meeting Dragon's glance.
"Very hypocritical of me. Let me deal with things in my own time and in my
own way. I only hope the child will NEED baby clothes. Can you imagine what it
would be like to be thrust full-grown into the world?"
Dragon said not a word; his polishing cloth resumed its practised sweeps.
"She doesn't look unwell," Mirror said. "Loranna. I think she's
been thinking."
"She's going to need help," Allerleirauh said. "I've been
indulging myself as long as I can. But this is Vehk's child; if I can't kill
it, I must nurture it. Or someone must. I can't continue to be a child about
this."
Mirror and Mirea had been active, bringing her information about the
discussions surrounding Loranna. It was generally agreed that Azura's presence
was undesirable in Gnisis. But neither was she wanted anywhere else. Water was
moving, slowly, unseen beneath the earth. Soon it would come to a head.
In the meantime, Allerleirauh bit the thread off, and started with a new color.
The needle rose and fell.

time for some stats
Sekka is an insane loner. He is skitzophrenic (three personalites, to learn
more read previous RP's) He has many serious problems, and by the way he is NOT
a sheo worhipper just to let everyone know. Sekka dresses in raggy clothing,
beat up adamantium boots, he also wears random enchanted rings all over his
fingers.
Meph might make a few appearences. He is a very smart talking dog in the
process of starting a cult based loosely on the teachings of the psijics and
sotha sil (with some vehkism thrown in here and there.) but he is always
willing to change his thoughts and learn the unknown. He is also a very strong
mystic , with a gift for illusion and teleporation.

...
Name: Maji
Race: Nord
Appearance: Very tall and slim, with pale skin. Her hair is a fair brown, and
tucked under the nape of her neck for visibility. Her eyes are blue, and
usually showing her to be in good humor.
One of her most prized possesions is a finely crafted bronze katana, both made
and enchanted to be similar to the artifact goldbrand, with an added enchantment
of poison, by a few friends of hers.
Another is her old, faded, navy blue robe, with golden trim around the neckline
and edge of the sleeves, that has been in her possesion for longer than she can
remember.
Her only visible protection is two pauldron's of Vvardenfel glass that adorn
her shoulders, but under her robe, she wears a full suit.

her way up the ranks of the great house Redoran. She is currently a house

As a mage, she can wield most spells of destruction effectively.
And as a master of the sword, she has defeated all challengers.
Now then... You have my permission to slap me around with Vivec's tuna if I
even THINK of not joining this Rp and seeing it through to the end.

been again? He had lost track. He looked around. Gnisis, exactely where he
wanted to be.

Ciel folded the letter over with a sigh and set it on the desk.
He drew the dagger from his belt. It was a well made dagger, elegant. The dark
ebony blade seemed to soak in the candle light. He had been given the dagger
back in the Reach. An older Nordic fellow told him he might need it... they had
been a few days yet from Solitude when they had encountered that man, he had
stayed with them as camp. Ciel had invited the fellow to dinner with him. He
had thought it a gift at the time, not the burden it was now. Calling for wine
he set the dagger next to the letter. Placing his head in one hand, he spins
the dagger about with the other, waiting. Either way, doubtless, Lord Inwald
would be pleased.

Wowsers Loranna is having another RP. I know from my own
experiences and those of others that it is super helpful for everyone
partcipating to be talking on the IRC chat, it just helps things move along
better, and it keeps everyone on the same page. the name of the chatroom is
#Loranna_RP (on the chatspike server) if you do not know how to acces IRC chat
there is a rather informative guide (well i think it is, im a little biased).
If anyone has problems they can PM me and ill do the best i can to help.
heres the link to the guide. http://sekkairc.freewebpage.org/
P.s. its a good thing to download mIRC(good program) but it is not requred, it
is also possible to chat using javachat, its all explained in the guide.

come back from work...

I'll actually be here for this one! Yay!
Name: Tharivor Vehkem
Age: Estimated at 200ish.
Race: Dark Elf
Ht: Over 5' (Say 5' 10")
Wt: Less than 85kg. (OOC: *Forgot*)
Eyes: Phase Shift - Blue to Red and vice versa at will.
Class: Scout Savant
Skills: Same as last.
Appearance: Since robes slowed him down, Tharivor has lost the robe in favor of
something lighter. He now wears under his clothes a form of glass armor that
protects less than normal glass, but more than most light armor. He walks with
a limp, now, to throw enemies (and potential enemies) into a bluff, meaning
that they think he can't dodge anything, so image their surprise when he does.
His bone-wings still don't work, but he has more control over them for some
reason. Also, he can "slurp" his wings back into his body in order to
hide them if he wishes now. He can willingly "Phase Shift" his eyes
from their azure to the normal Dark Elf crimson.
On his side he still carries his trusty short sword, the Black Blade of
Disaster.
As for the tattoo...

OOC: For my Yasur's bio, go
http://www.elderscrolls.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=26090&st=0 Yasur no
longer has the shield, and he has 2 special rings now: one with an invisibility
enchantment (CE), and one with an intelligence booster (CE, 10 points).
For Razub's bio, go
http://www.elderscrolls.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=31391&st=180
After staying in Ald Ruhn for a while, Yasur headed north, to Gnisis. He had
some more business to attend to.
(2 days after Yasur left Ald-Ruhn)
Razub arrived in Ald-Ruhn riding in the back of a Silt Strider he had hired.
There was an ashstorm in full swing, and it made him grateful for his
custom-made Chitin helm. He headed for the Ald Skaar Inn, and walked inside. He
removed his helm and cloak, revealing his rather common clothes. He walked to
the counter. "Tell me," Razub said to the bartender "Have you
seen a Dunmer named Yasur Aranakan around? He has bright green eyes, although
it's very rare to see them." "A Dunmer with bright green eyes, you
say?" said the Nordic bartender (all bartenders are nords ).
"There was someoine here a few days ago fitting that description. Said he
was going to Gnisis, he did." "Thank you." replied Razub. He
ordered some flin, and rested until the ash storm stopped. He then donned his
fine cloak, and took a silt strider to Gnisis.

Ok, since I don't start work till seven, I might go over whom my
characters are. There is, of course Maranda and Meridia, but I am running two
more characters, Maranda's servent and Underling, Daidez and
'He-who-hunts-elves'
Meridia
Occupation - Daedric Prince of an obscired Sphere
colour - Blue (if the text is blue, then its Meridia talking)
Notes - Meridia's goal is to return Azura to the plane of Oblivion, through
quite unnatural methods, in other words, slaying Loranna with the Moon Riever
Sword. Leaving hwer servant, Maranda to find Azura's protonymic, she has set
herself, and her Daedric Servents in finding Azura's neonymic
Maranda
Female
Occupation - High Priestess of Meridia
Colour - Black
Items of note
Daedric Robe of Cleanlesness
A marveolous robe which is called thus because it absorbs any stain that is
apon it. It also posesses a number of mystical enchantments, including spell
absorbtion and spell reflection and a small shield charm. It is a powerful
defence against Magic Attacks. However, this semingly Uber robe has a nasty
side effect. As an artifact of Meridia, it lives of the Natural energies of
other things. Thus, it absorbs the natural energies in dirt and blood and other
items of Organic creation. If it does not absorb the natural energies of other
items, it will start to suck the Magicka out of its owner.
Curiass of the Saviours Hide
One of the great items of Tarmel, purchaced just recently from a Noble of
Morrowind, this mystical curiass is enchanted to protect its owned from
Magicka. It is also a vital piece in the Moon Riever Ritual
Ring of Shadow Mind
This ring Protects its owner from having her mind read by other beings. It also
prevents other beings from speaking into her mind. It also can summon one Flame
Monarch a day, and increases Magicka significantly
Moon Riever Sword
The mystical sword of the Fallen God, Lorkhan, it uses the power of his body to
bind, and slay the Anima of a Daedric Prince, destroying his very exsistance,
and forcing the Princes sphere to form a new prince. For this ritual to work,
one needs the Curiass of the Saviours Hide to protect themselves from the
Princes energies, and the two sacred names of a Daedric Prince, the never
changing protonymic, and the constantly changing neonymic. Its efect is Fortify
Longblade 30 and Potent Poison (from Battlespire)
Maranda's Signet Ring
The owner of this ring can be posessed by the Daedric Prince, Meridia. There is
no other enchantment on this item. Its effects are negated by the Ring of the
Shadow Mind
Now she has a lot of items, does she not? Most of these items were picked up in
previous RP's... Maranda has recently settled down in Narsis, waiting for her
servants to return with the known location of Loranna. She is currently
searching for the protonymic of Azura, and hence people who were at Hogathum
Hall whom heard Vivec's banishment of Azura. She specalizes in Summoning spells
and can be noted as one of the best summoners in Tarmel, however, she is but
avereage in everything else
He-who-hunts-elves aka elvie
Male
Occupation - Servent to Maranda, Agent
Colour - Green
He-who-hunts-elves, or Elvie for short is an Argonian Servant to Maranda, who
freeded him from his life of Slavery. Having reently retrieved the Curiass of
the Saviours hide for his master, he is currently residing in Narsis with her.
Daidez (not his real name)
Male
Occupation - Odd Jobs Man
Colour - red
Daidez ias the sort of person whom if you want somthing done, he is the person
to do it. From assassinations to thievery, he is skilled in almost everything
in the stealth catigory. A supporter of Narmia, has decided to assist Maranda
for reasons unknown. He is currently searching the location of Loranna.
heh, that took a while to write, they are the four characters that I will be
playing (a small edit to the descrtiption for the Robe of Cleanliness)

Ritual, and a rightly punishment in Meridia's eyes for both Loranna and Azura.

Name: Dane
Race: Imperial
Class: Kinght
Age: 43
Apperance: Short gray hair, he has a tough but simple look. A strong build and
is about 6'1. Recently wears no armor
Bio: Dane was a proud knight of Cryodill, everyone looked up to him but he was
well in retirement until he served at the Twisted Tower of Doom, then he knew
he could still help with his skills. He heard about Loranna's journey and
decided to join her and his comrades but a tragic happen upon Dane he turned
into a rare creatrure: half werewolf and half vampire. He later found a cure
and went back to his normal life but after there jiurney was over he was sent
back to Cyrodill and was guilty for helping a daedric princess and not beliving
in the Nine Divines anymore so he was pronunced as Heretic and was exiled from
Cyrodill.....

Jaim walked out of Shenk's Shovel in Caldera, it was raining,
like usual these days. His helmet was off, and he was heading towards the
Mage's Guild. His black hair was plastered against his head, and his bangs were
hanging in his darkly painted face. He had the Cleaver of St. Felms at his
side, and his Nordic Claymore strapped across his back. He entered the Mage's
Guild and walked up the steps towards the Guild Guide. "Lets get this over
with," he grumbled "Ald-Ruhn." He handed the guild guide the proper
amount of gold, having more than enough because he sold the Orcish Armor he
found, prefering the feel of the Imperial Steel Armor that he had made himself.
He was transported to Ald-Ruhn. He walked out of the Mage's Guild there, and
went to the Ald-Scar Inn. He bought some Mazte, Shein, and Sujamma, one bottle
each. He then bought a room. He went down to his room and drank each one,
falling into a drunken sleep immediately. Five hours later, he awoke. He then
got up, and went to the Silt-Strider. He asked the operator where he could go,
and the operator gave him list of options. Gnisis. He would go to Gnisis, and
maybe join the Imperial Legion at Fort Darius. He got off the Silt-Strider,
grumbling about the bumpy ride. He went down the steps and into Andus
Tradehouse. He then sat down at a table and ordered Mazte, Shein, Sujamma, in
that order. He drank each one and continued the process, never feeling quesy or
nausious. He was a Nord after all, he was also a Highland Nord, from the
Highland's of Skyrim. He could drink as good as any Nord, Orc, or any other
race. He didn't have a taste for brandy, or wine, he liked the strong stuff,
but not Skooma, for Skooma gave him indigestional problems. (and
just for the heck of it...)

(ooc: If you haven't noticed already, my character is only more
than slightly modeled after Riddick. His personality and mannerisms follow in
suit.)
Running. Wraith had been running against the wind for three days now. Luck has
been with him, for a strong east-ward wind has blown across these ash-plains
for a whole week now. When the winds die down he must stop and rest and wait
for them to pick up again, or else Wraith might risk accidentally diving off of
a cliff or running into some unexpected "friends". The winds are his
eyes. Ever since the day those bastard guards stole his sight, the winds have
been his only tutor in percepting this new world of darkness. Their sound. It rattled
against everything in that dark, dank cell. Against the trees, against the
chains, against their lifeless bodies. He killed them all. Out of darkness, he
saw their dying fate.

Solin
The bootfalls echoed in the empty hallway. In all probability it had never
heard their like before. The whirring and clicks of gears running were an ever
present accompaniment. The series of long corridors and massive halls stretched
on for an eternity leaving one to wonder if it ever ended. Every panel, every
switch, every lever, it was all… intriguing. Its draw irresistible, all of it
had to be examined yet nothing could be described. Overall, the enormity is
dominated by the scratch of pen to paper.

Dante sat at home, bored out of his mind slowly swishing a cup
of Sujamma around..Sudenly his mother burst into the room "Dante! I need
you to go find Illidan, I cant find him anywhere" Dante sighed and slowly
stood to his feet. "Alright, just let me get my armour" He says
strolling into the other room...upon his re-entrance he is wearing his full
suit of armour. "I'm out of here then" He says with a yawn and walks
out the front door..I wonder where he is? He thinks to himself, shortly
answered by I bet he's in Gnisis, go to Gnisis So Dante made his way up the silt strider port and was on his
way to Gnisis.
Posted by: Meridia Dec 5 2004, 02:07 AM
Indeed, I never said Meridia's task would be easy... with all
these people to fight against... but when she does act, she will have the
backing of all the remaining Daedric Princes... WHEN she acts (or if might be a
better word)... its not nessesarily going to be now, its not nessesarily going
to be the next RP...
But anyway
A letter from Daidez, master he
who hunts elves replied... Maranda just shrugged this off, and took the letter,
Maranda, I have found somthing relating to Loranna... come
to Gnisis... there is a clue there, I do not know what... I shall meet you
there, there is only one inn in town, so it shall be there,
Daidez
'Very well,' Maranda said to herself, 'Elvie, we're off to the Mages Guild for
transportation to Vivec...'
Yes, Master...
So, the first of the names is almost within my grasp... but
how should I do this? Should I just slay her when I have the chance and both
names? No, that would not be sporting... it would also be quite dangerous to my
supporters, yes, Maranda is a powerful summoner, but with that many of
Loranna's admirers around, it would be dificult for her to make it out alive
(or even sucseed in the ritual) there must be some allies, some way to halt
thier interference should I send Assassins, no... that does not seem very like
me... perhaps a barrier... I might have to look into that... However, I wonder
how would the Mortal ruler of Wayrest feel about Azura's supporters presence
around Loranna... these are some interesting questions to ponder over duing my
time here. Ah, an idea... Loranna, is to be tried for her crimes, why not
Azura... yes, I must get on to Sherry about this...

Nalion stood beside his desk in his shop in Tel Uvirith when the
summons came...
After accepting it, he dons his red-and-black robe and makes his way up to the
main tower. Levitating to the top and investigating the intricate artwork of
Telvanni mushroom architecture, Nalion muses what the Wizard may want of him...
Upon reaching the top, Nalion proceeds to the audience chamber and inclines his
head. "You wished to speak to me, Master?"
"You have come around some bit, as I've heard, Retainer Nalion." the
wizard begins. "I'd advise you to find a representative while you are
away, though. A stronghold like this needs the services of an alchemist and
enchanter. Nontheless, since you've traveled so far and have some experience in
getting around quickly, I need you to deliver something."
The wizard hands Nalion a sealed parchment. "Deliver this to Baladas
Demnevanni in Arvs Drelen, Gnisis. This is important. Wait there until he
writes an answer, then bring it to me. You may leave me now."
With a dismissing wink of his hand, the wizard turns and walks back to his
study.
"Hmm, well, it seems I am off again." Nalion thinks and bows curtly.
Back in his store, he prepares his pack again, carefully placing the message in
a leather case. Grabbing his staff and his dagger, he looked around in his
store. As he found everything in relative order, he tightened his shoulders,
mumbled a spell and vanished...
With a flash of light, Nalion reappeared directly in front of the door to the
Imperial Cult shrine of Wolverine Hall. After walking down the stairs, the
Breton crossed the yard and the bridge. Laughter and song emerged from Dirty
Muriel's as he strode down the path to Sadrith Mora. The great spire of Tel
Naga loomed over the city and cast a long shadow over the Gateway Inn. Passing
through the large bronze door, Nalion looked over the harbour searching for a
ship to Khuul.

"How are you?" Arynel asked. "Which road is it you
wish to follow?"
"I am well," she said, studying his face. Make haste slowly, my
friend, she thought. Not too much at one time. "More to the point, how is
Solin? He has been in the City since we returned from the Cave of the Dog?
Someone should go to him, don't you think? Knowing a string of power is not all
there is to traveling the Void... many go mad when they first enter the Void.
Someone should make sure he is able to return."

It is clockwork majesty. Every gear turns another, driving the complex
mechanisms. No cog is unused, misplaced perhaps but, none refuse to turn. All
moves towards so great unknown purpose. There is something written in the
workings of this place, something seen everywhere but cannot be read.
One feels that this place's message in the mind. Surprisingly one does not find
a continuous downpour here. It would not do to tarry long here.

The Breton pauses.

Dante made his way down from the Silt Strider port in Gnisis you
better be right about this He thinks to himself stepping down from the port
and making his way to the tavern "If I know Illidan..." He begins
stepping inside the tavern.
Illidan is sitting at a table enjoying a bottle of Flin with 2 women...Dante
walks over to him and taps him on the back. "Enjoying yourself are
you?" He asks, Illidan quickly spins around on his chair "Why yes I
am than--Dear Vehk! what are you doing here?" He asks quite worried.
"C'mon Illidan, you gotta come home" The 2 women giggle at this
"Hey shutup Dante!" He scowls turning to the 2 women he says
"He's my younger brother, Excuse us for a second" He says politely
standing up and dragging Dante away from the table.
"What do you think your doing huh?" He asks staring Dante in the eye
"What do you think? to bring you home..like I said just before"
Illidan sighs "Fine, just stay and have a couple of drinks first eh?"
He asks with a wide grin planyed across his lips "Fine" Replies Dante
foloing Illidan back to the table and sitting down.
"Oh, Barkeep..Another bottle of flin please!" He calls out motioning
with his hand to the bartender.

Solin sits, legs dangling over the water bellow. His notebook lies off to the
side, closed. The great engine that this dome once housed was broken. The great
obelisk had shattered long ago, its pieces lay scattered at the bottom of the

level. One would have to be careful, there were no guard rails, and only a
short drop separated the any walker and the water beneath.

OOC: I just watched The Last Samurai, therefore, a few changes
will be made.
While Jaim was sleeping, a few ruffians came in. Jaim, being in a drunken
sleep, didn't hear them come in, strip him of his belongings, and his clothes,
and didn't hear them go out. He awoke feeling frigid. He looked at himself,
what he saw shocked him. All he had on was his undergarment. He only had a few
things left. This undergarment, and his possessions at home. He also had one
more thing. He got up and picked up a small Sujamma bottle. He shook it. A
small clinkity-clink could be heard. He then picked up another bottle and shook
it. Clinkity-clink. He sighed deeply. He then rounded up all of the bottles
except one. He proceeded to smash each one. When finally they were all smashed
except the one he had put aside, he gathered the gold and put it all in that
one bottle. What he had in terms of gold equalled around 200 gold pieces.
Enough to by him a robe, belt, and possibly a weapon. He walked out, not paying
any attention to all of the women stareing at him. He did not blush or
anything. He walked up to a nearby merchant and bought a robe, and belt. He put
both of them on. He then had around 197 gold left. He then put the gold in his
pockets and discarded the Sujamma bottle/bank. He walked outside, and went to the
nearest armory. All he could buy was an old Katana, and an armorer hammer. He
bought both. He then built a fire and proceeded to virtually remake the old
katana. Eventually, he had it sharper than a razor, and in better condition
than the champion of Tamriel. (lol) He then went in search of his burglers.

In Vivec...
'What do you mean there is not a direct boat to Gnisis?' Maranda yelled,
angrily, 'its on a river, is it not? Why can't you sail up there!'
'I am sorry, madam, but the law is the law. I can take you to Khuul, and no
further, you would have to walk from there...' repplied the ferryman
master, there is a strange beast over there, perhaps we
shoud see if it will take us to Gnisis...
He-who-hunts-elves replied, pointing to a stilt strider
'Very well, then, forget it, you lousy ferryman, unable to even get your boat
up a river...' Maranda stormed off and arrived at the Stiltstrider Port...
'A ticket to Gnisis, please...' she said in the sweetest tone
'200 gold each, no less, outlander' the surly drumner replied
'200 gold, what do you think this is...' Maranda said, before starting to chant
somthing under her breath
Master, pleas do not do that here, if you summon a Flame
Monarch here, not only will it cause massive destruction, but the temple will
chase after us...
Maranda stopped her chanting, but the drumner had seen enough... '200 gold for
the both of you, thats my final offer...' he said in a panicy voice... Maranda
gratiously accepted this payment, smiling at the fact that that trick worked
almost 70% off the time... (the other 30% ends up in flames)

Jaim walks down the street, his Katana in it's sheath, through
his belt. He notices some of his former armor on a person. He goes over to the
person, takes him into an alleyway and draws his Katana. "Where did you
get that armor?" he says in a rough tone. "Me and my friends stole it
off of a drunk dude. P-pl-please don't h-hurt m-me." he stuttered.
"That was me, you scum." Those were the last words that man ever
heard, for less than a second later, his head was rolling in the water of the
alleyway, his body crumpled on the ground. Since being robbed, Jaim had taken a
new perspective on life, and how to live it. He took the armor and sold it. He
then bought some blood red, plated iron armor. He put it on. He also bought
some blood red britches. He went into a spare room and put them on. He folded
up his robe and belt, and placed it in a small pack, concealed within his
armor. His Katana was at his side. He then named the sword, the Avenger. He
then went in search of the other theives.

'So, Daidez, I am here, what is this about?' Maranda said impaitently
My sources tell me that somthing is going to go down here,
involving your 'friend' Loranna. What it is I do not know, same as if she is
here or not... I just know that somthing will happen
'Ok, you two, be on your guard... we do not know who might turn up. Elvie, go
prowl the streets, see what you can find, Daidez, go to Ald'run and hire us a
mercanary, one good with a sword... we are lacking in swordpower in our little
party. Here is a thousand gold... get us someone good'
The two servents went off, as Maranda ordered a glass of water, much to the
discust of the bartender...

Quickly stepping into the quest quarters he closed the door. He dropped his

A head lolled off a body and plopped on the ground, with a
sickening splash. Then the body fell, with an even more sickening thud. The
fourth and final theif had been eliminated. The Avenger slid silently into it's
former position. But was now on top of a wakizashi, and yet more weapons were
present. A Dai-Katana was strapped to his back. He had gained an extra few
hundred gold from the killings and sellings. He was then finished, finally. He
went back to the tradehouse and bought another room. He made sure the door was
closed extremely tight, and was locked with 3 locks. He then dozed on the bed.

Downstairs Allerleirauh waited with the other Void Rangers in
the firelit music room.
"Dragon - my right hand. Mirror and Mirea, you may have glimpsed them in
passing, my eyes. Doll is the youngest of us. Skein, who studies paths."
She smiled. "Solin, normally we would have a grand feast for you, in the
great hall, as it's your first visit to the house. But that's not where we
usually eat; the kitchen is closer and more welcoming. And... there will be
plenty of time for feasts and honors when you have rested. Yes?"
She laid a hand on Solin's arm, to show him the way. In the kitchen the light
from the great hearth made a cheerful glow; herbs hung from the ceiling,
filling the room with a variety of scents. And the food... well, the food was
divine. The cook was an Orc; Allerleirauh wondered sometimes what they were
eating, exactly. But there were never any complaints about the taste. And
tonight she had seasoned everything for a Dunmer palate, in honor of Solin.
A feast for the senses. And a warm fire. Allerleirauh smiled at the faces of
her friends and remembered a cold night, long ago, when it had seemed nothing
would warm her. She had stepped into a hollow tree, desperate, searching for
any hiding place. And then she had passed into darkness that was not darkness.
And nothing had ever been the same again.
"To good company," she said, raising her glass. "Solin,
welcome."

The sounds of heavy foot steps proceed Ciel’s voice entering Loranna’s cell.
“Open the door,” he tells the guard waiting outside, who responds with a curt
“Sir.” Creaking, the door opens revealing Ciel on the other side. His graying
hair is neatly combed back and the grey beard that frames his mouth is well
trimmed. He has a dagger, eerily familiar to Loranna, belted at his waist.
Without giving a second look he tells the guard in a firm tone, “Go.” While
Ciel seems steady enough the sent of wine is heavy in the air.
“Well, my dear,” he says stepping into the chamber, “You should be most happy
for me, I’m returning to Wayrest soon to receive my honors,” he smiled a
bit but his tone was unaffected.

both colors seemingly at random. Her silver tearstreaks are slightly less
accented than they had been at her capture, but are still noticable ...
Loranna stares at Ciel for a moment, her head tilted as if listening to

" ... They're ... going to 'honor' you, for what you did here?" she
asks, sounding somewhat confused. " ... I don't get it; weren't you sent

"No Hanna. Do not help this man out, he is a traitor to Cyrodill" The

contuinue washing the floors. It was a daily routine now, he would get

“Wine!” Ciel yells before giving Loranna a chance to respond.

“I did not give my word surrounded by the red stains of my men to take it back

“I do regret,” he says quieting to a near whisper, “that I will not be able to

Dur’el, Kasha, and a short Bosmer, walk on a old, dirt road

Dur’el sighs. “Ah, Morrowind. The land of a billion footsteps. Tell me, Kasha,

Kasha sighs and turns to their new companion. “So, You and Dur’el know each

The small Bosmer walking behind Kasha replies. “Yep, we were in the same guild

“Yeah, the short fool was always trying to outdo me... never worked though.”
Dur’el interjects.
“Oh, really? What about that trip we took to the Wayrest brothel.” The Bosmer

Kasha quickly turns and looks, sternly at Dur’el.
“Wayrest brothel?” Kasha says.
“Uh...” Dur’el begins.
“You know that story reminds me of something.” The Bosmer says.
“Uh oh.” Dur’el replies.
“You know Orcs make the best lovers.” The little Bosmer says smiling.
“WHAT?!!” Kasha says shocked.
Dur’el leans close to Kasha. “Yeah, he always brings this up. He wants everyone
to know the sexual skills of Orcs for some reason. It must be a Bosmer thing.”
Dur’el turns his attention to the Bosmer. “Ah, Allimar, not this story again, I

Allimar continues. “I’m serious. When I was at the brothel I met this tall,

feeling it beating the dust of its wings against her hand.
Allerleirauh tilted her head and raised an eyebrow.
"Nothing. Or... rather. Nothing yet. But we should keep a better watch on

Mirror swallowed the last of his wine in two gulps and wiped his mouth.

crawled away, clearly shaken by its experience. Then she returned to her meal.

Ciel is gone before Loranna can reply, and her shifting eyes stare at the door
for several long moments, her expression sad yet thoughtful.
... Duty ... she thinks, hearing Allie's words from the last battle
outside of Dawnstar. He wasn't a civilian, he chose his battleground, and it
was wrong to try and keep him from it - that was what Allie had said, if she
remembered rightly.
Yet still, something seemed wrong about all this; how could the Queen know the
details of what Ciel would find? That when he finally caught up with herself,
she'd be escorted by a force that could tear him and his men apart, making
their whole mission pointless? She'd offered her surrender as much to save his
life and the lives of his remaining men as she had to save her friends - she
had, at that point, finally started to realize how much blood she had been
spilling and was sick of it. She had to be stopped ...
... No; not quite, she corrects herself. She, Loranna the mortal, needed
to stop for a time, and let things that should have sunk in before finally fall
into place. She, the vessel of Azura, was merely resting a spell, letting
things shift to a new act in her plans. But in any event - Ciel's original
purpose to bring her to justice was only fulfilled to any extent by her
surrendering, for if she hadn't, he and his men would have been destroyed - all
that time and heartbreak, pursuing her through Skyrim, and then for what, if
she had said to stand and fight?
... Loranna shakes her head; she doesn't understand a knight's duty to know if
her thoughts are truth or just a silly tavern girl's fantasy world. Someone
with more experience with such codes would have to figure this one out - she
had said her feelings and that was all she could do.
Frowning, she looks down at the ebony dagger, recognizing it after a moment,
and wonders what to do with it - she's not in much condition to use it, as
Allie had pointed out, and having it in her cell would probably cause her
trouble ...
Sighing, Loranna moves to keep the dagger out of casual sight, closes her eyes,

"Hello," he said, very quietly, with a quizzical smile. "It's

Loranna blinks, and covers her mouth with her hand. " ... Hi," she
says, looking very much like a tavern girl admiring the latest prettyboy. Then,
her expression grows more serious ...
"I'm Loranna; a pleasure," she says quietly, doing her best to be at
least somewhat mannered. " ... The knight Ciel who had been my jailer is
being recalled to Wayrest, to recieve 'honors' from the Queen; in his place, he
says, will be a less scrupulous and more power-hungry jailer named Liris."
Loranna moves a little to let Mirror see the dagger. "Ciel left this here;
it ... belongs to a Dunmer named Solin. I think Ciel meant it to be for my
protection and appreciate that, but a pregnant woman isn't much for fighting
with a knife and I think the guards would take exception to its presence
..."
She sighs. " ... And if anyone who understands knights could talk to Ciel,
... well, I would appreciate it. I don't think he deserves to die but I'm just
a tavern girl and a vessel for a Daedra Prince - knightly honor is outside my
experience."

"Ciel's going back to Wayrest?"
The young man looked shocked.
"Why would he do that? He... I'll keep an eye on him."
Mirror fingered the ebony dagger. "Nice. I suggest you keep this, just in
case. We can't watch you all the time. As for your jailer, I'll see what a
little gold in the right palm can do. I'm surprised that Aricyn fellow hasn't
been looking after you better; guess he's afraid."

Vvardenfell, Hla Oad:
A pair of azure eyes snap open, and their owner sits up. Tharivor clutches his
neck as pain rushes through it, biting his tongue to stop himself from gasping.
The images. They won't stop. But... what can I do? Standing out of bed,
he lights a candle and reaches into his dresser, pulling out a suit of modified
glass armor. Should I go to her? The answer to him did not come easily,
though he did begin to don the armor.
It had been awhile since he saw Loranna, but what happened after that incident
was a story. He had picked up a clue about the "darkness" (as he
jokingly called it) of his past, and went for the Black Marsh. While searching
the ruins of a destroyed Tower, he was picked up by the local guard and taken
to prison.
As Loranna began her path of destruction, Tharivor busted out of prison.
Gathering all he could, he began a beeline for the safe haven of Vvardenfell.
He managed to avoid both Imperial and Argonian patrols, and eventually made it
to Mournhold, then finally to Vvardenfell via longboat.
Now here he stands, dressed and armed. He wants to head for Gnisis, but with
Imperials already helping the Argonians look for a fugitive, he doesn't know
what to do.

"Perhaps, though I think he more just figures his little Azura is safe
under lock and key right now, unable to wander off and cause any cities to
burst in flames when he isn't around to make it all look good. I suspect he's
busily making arrangements for my tour through Morrowind - and planning private

Looking at the dagger, Loranna eventually takes it and tucks it into her dress.

"You still don't even get it, do you? Of course you don't. We don't take

well. Because it's cold outside. I may be a message boy, but I'm my own

He leaned forward, touching her tearstreaked face with the back of his hand,
with a look of wonder, as if it were something he'd wanted to do for a long

"Look at me - losing it. Standing here chatting like we're in the public

His method of entering the Void seemed to be to run very fast. Very fast. The

Loranna touches the spot on her face where Mirror's hand had brushed her skin,
smiling softly, though her eyes showed a mix of sorrow as well as happiness.
... Didn't quite listen as well as I should have, she reproaches herself
gently. Still the young girl clamoring for attention when I'm not careful
... though, he is very pretty and he seems ... gentle.
Loranna closes her eyes; I need to work on listening some more, she
thinks. Before my fantasy world drowns out the real one completely - or I'm
no longer here to listen at all ...
As she closes her eyes though she feels a small weight in her arms, like a
small bundle; she tries not to think about the sensation in her arms too much,
knowing already what promises lay in her grasp ...

Maranda finished her water and walked to her room. Closing the
door behind her, she saw a familiar person sitting on the bed...
Hello, my dear servent... I have to congradulate you on
your efforts. you have done well... unfortunatly my plan has hit a snag...
'What sort of problem do you face, my lord?' Maranda asked
It is the problem of survivability...and of the ritual
being completed before it is interfered with... I am trying to gain support for
my plan, however, some of the Princes do not like the idea... I must have the
complete support of the remainder princes, plus some powerful allies to... how
should I put this, distract Loranna's substantual and powerful supporters
'And how do you plan to achive this?' Maranda asked
That is your task, to find people who will activly assist
us, even if they don't know what is going to occur... of course, continue the
search for the Name of Stasis, but make this a priority too... perhaps even
more of a priority than the forbidden names... Loranna's supporters could
attack at any time if they got wind of this plan, that is why you have the Ring
of the Shadow Mind. Do your subordinates know much? I have not really been
paying attention
'Daidez, I have not told him everything, I have just used him to search for
various people... He is a supporter of Narmia, and I think he might know of
some of the details... my servent, 'he-who-hunts-elves' does not know much at
all...' Maranda finished.
That Diadez, or whatever his name is; is in trouble... he
knows too much and is a soft target... I think you should get rid of him at the
first possible moment...
'He is more useful to me alive than dead... there is no-one with his sort of
connections and skills that I know in this entire provence... I can't eliminate
him... not yet...' Maranda said
Hmm, I sence trouble brewing on the horizon... be
careful... Since you now have the Curiass it shoud be safe for you to draw the
sacred blade to defend yourself with... I wish you luck, my dear servent, in
your mission... with that, the avatar of Meridia
dissapered...

Razub sat in the Silt Strider behind the driver. "Is there
any chance you could perhaps make this thing go a little faster?" he asked
politely "I'm hoping to meet a friend who probably won't be staying in
Gnisis for very long." "I'm afraid this is it's top speed,
serjo." The driver replied.
Just then a humongous bolder started rolling down a nearby mountain, heading
straight for the silt strider. "ABANDON STRIDER!" The driver shouted
in terror. The moment they landed, the boulder crushed the strider, sending
it's innards splattering over the country side.
Razub looked to the top of the mountain, and he thought he saw the vague shape
of an orc. He then saw the shape of several people, all weilding bows.
"Bandits!" exclaimed the driver. "Take cover!" As son as he
had finished his words, an arrow pierced his neck.
Razub quickly scrambled behind the cover of some rocks, and drew 6 of his best
throwing knives. He peered out from behind the rocks, and took aim. He jumped
up, threw two of the knives, and heard screams, followed by the sound of bodies
rolling down the mountain side. When they stopped, Razub could see his knives
sticking out of their necks. Perfect shot
He took aim again, but before he could jump up, he could hear an arrow fly past
his head, narrowly missing. This was followed by many more arrows, none of
which, fortunately, hit their mark. He could then hear several pairs of feet
sliding down.
He looked up, and was greeted by the sight of 5 bandits charging at him with
swords. He quickly threw his 4 remaining knives at the bandits, all of which
were instant kills. This just left one bandit: the orc who had moved the
boulder.
"You die now, little kittie." said the orc, mockingly. He then
charged at Razub, who drew his ebony dagger, Tooth (named so for it's dragon's
tooth hilt). The orc took a sing at Razubs head. Razub ducked down, and stabbed
at the orc, but only stabbed air. This continued for some time, with each blow
being greeted by air. Finally, after a good 20 minutes of battle, Tooth sunk
deep into the orc's heart. "There." he said, starting to walk around
to the various bodies to collect his knives.
When he had finished, he looked at the debris. There's no way I can get past
here, and I'm an awful mountain climber. Looks like I'll have to find another
route to Gnisis. He started searching for a different route, wondering if
he'd reach Gnisis in time.
OOC: Some of you might recognise the dagger Tooth from the Daggerfall book
series, King Edward.

Zaldaar walked into town. The jail was just ahead. In front of
it sat a guard. Zaldaar aproached the guard, "I hear you have a prisoner
by the name of Loranna. I need to speak with her." The guard looked up,
"I'm sorry, but noones aloud to see her except her jailer." Zaldaar
frowned, "Who is the jailer?"
"Sir Ciel, but he's going to be leaving soon."
"Who will take his place?"
"Sir Liris."
"Well thank you for the information." Zaldaar turned and walked away.
He knew of Ciel and of Liris. He'd have more chance of getting to Loranna with
Liris in charge. He'd wait.

Dagoth Lich;
All was ready in the city of Vivec...the amulets were set, I had the rooms
prepped in both St. Delyn and St. Olms, and all we needed was the right time.
However, it seems we have hit a slight snag... Apparently, it seems that the
Thieve's Guild informants I had via an acquaintance of mine from the party had
found that Loranna is not in Vivec in all likelyhood.
However, should you find the need, he hinted that the Royal Palace in Mournhold
would be a good place to look...however, with this failure, I'd take the
current information with a grain of salt. Other than the above, it is all I
have for now.
Should you request it, I can send an envoy to the city guised as a diplomat
from one of the razed towns we passed to gather more information...this will
take time, however, and if either of us come with more information, be sure to
pass it to the right source.
And before I forget, should something be of my notice, send it to me through

While sleeping, an assassain picked the 3 locks on Jaim's door.
Jaim woke up and pulled out his Wakizashi in one hand, and the Avenger in the
other. He then waited for the assassain to come through the door. When the
assassain came through the door, she was met by two swords. One pierced her
jugular, the other her black heart. Jaim poured a special solution on the
blades so that the blood came off, but the metal would not rust. He pulled her
inside and closed the door again. He then went through the assassain-woman's
possessions. About 1000 gold, and an Ebony Tanto, with a red-inlayed scabbord.
Jaim took both of these things, then looked at the woman up and down. Nice
Nordic woman, blonde hair, fairly proportioned. "Shame you turned
evil." He said, and then dumped the body out of the window.

After examening his map closely for a few minutes, Razub determined
that he could get to Gnisis by taking a much longer route. Grrr, there's no
way I could get to Yasur before he leaves Gnisis now. He heard a screech,
and looked to the sky. He could see what looked like a cross between a dragon
and a cliff racer. It was a bit smaller than a dragon, but many times larger
than a cliff racer. It swooped down, barely missing Razub's head, who had
rolled out of it's way. It turned around for another swoop, and Razub drew a
throwing knife with a blinding enchantment. It was approaching fast, and Razub
took careful aim. Just as it was about to hit him, Razub threw the knife at the
creatures left eye, and quickly rolled away. It had managed to cut his arm with
it's wing, but the creature was now blind, and crashed into a nearby mountain.
The impact caused a rockslide to start, and massive boulders covered the beast.
Seeing the rocks begin to shift, razub decided that now would be a good time to
get away. Razub turned around, and started running as fast was he could,
feeling a sharp pain in his arm.

Silence touched the Nordic wastes, words flowing from its tongue
more beautiful than any noise. Noise indeed, the horrific blessing of Padomay.
Yet both touching existence in correct order created something more beautiful
than both: Music. And music Girai felt flowing through him, the wonderful,
eternal gift of the One.
This music came from his master's glass artifact. Therogar the Worn kneeled
over it silently and touched its triangular sides at random. His meditations
were broken by Girai's accidental brushing of an icicle from its moors. The
clear, javelin-like shape shattered on the floor.
"Thinking of Noise, were you not?" the ancient Nord said,
"Strange how thoughts bring about such things. The power of the mind is a
wonderful thing indeed. Uncontrolled it can become lethal." He got up
slowly and sat by the campfire in the cave they occupied. "The One brought
about the Mundus first in thought, then in deed. Hence the power of faith, the
mind frees it to happen, then it happens." He looked mournful for a
moment. "Such power must be vested in the One, or it will come to
ruin."
Girai nodded slowly. "Yet it would seem Noise has come in full form in the
body of a maiden. Can nothing be done yet?" Therogar stood near the mouth
of the cave. "The One is not willing to consort with beings of darkness,
but perhaps it would benefit his cause if we broke from that rule
briefly." Girai looked at the Nord obviously startled. "What could we
possibly gain from a Daedra?" Timeless thought of a regret coming formed
in the old Nord's eyes. "What choice do we have? There is no mortal power
that can help us with this task, and the Aedra are bound presently with other
duties. Tiber Septim I doubt would come willingly... but perhaps I am
wrong." Therogar thought briefly. "Search for where the witch is
imprisoned, I will attempt to speak with Lord Septim. Through ritual perhaps he
will answer our calls."
Girai nodded and went to the back of the cave to find a scroll of Divine
Intervention he had seen earlier. He called to ask where it was, but Therogar
was already gone, and the Music played to only two solemn ears.

While Yasur was enjoying a cup of Flin in Gnisis, Razub was
running for dear life. The creature had broken out of it's rocky trap, and now
was madder than ever. It let off a blast of flame, which was barely dodged by
Razub. Most of his fur had become singed, and all his white spots had turned
black. It swooped down, knocking Razub off his feet and high into the air. He
landed in a tree, which was set alight the moment Razub got out. Luckily, he
had dropped down onto the door to a cave. He quickly opened the stone door, and
jumped inside, slamming it shut behind him. He turned to look into the cave,
and was greeted by the sight of 6 blades pointed at his throat. "You
better have a damn good reason for being in here, khajiit." The leader, a
dunmer male, said. The reason revealed itself by smashing down the door, nearly
impaling Razub on the swords. It quick fried the bandits with a single breath,
but was unable to get it's head in far enough to see the rather singed Razub,
who was hiding behind a rock. Why does it never end?

ot: and so I join. My character's name is Azrael, a dark elf
rogue. I'll reveal information on him as the story goes along
IC:
"Azrael, hand me that sample of kanet, would you?. . .Azrael?. .
.AZRAEL?"
Looking up, a bit disgruntled, from the parchment he was writing--a report on
the effects of dreugh wax as an anesthetic in a lasik procedure he observed in
the local Imperial cult--Azrael threw Kraj, the resident alchemy master, and a
rather foul-tempered khatjit, a dirty look, "You know that I'm writing
this report for Eliin, Kraj; get the damned kanet yourself". He turned
back to his work, mumbling about the khatjit's foul odor, when he felt a tap on
his shoulder. He turned around to see a nervous looking bosmer, no older than
14. "Yes, what do you want? I'm sure you just saw me tell off that smelly
Khatjit; I'm still writing my report". "Um...Eliin wants to see you,
sir", the boy replied, gulping and closing his eyes to wait for a
response.
Azrael nodded, then rolled up his parchment, and headed out of the room, up a
flight of stairs leading to the Archwizard's tower. Upon arrival he was greeted
by the familiar squawk of Master Eliin's pet cliff racer; this was a peculiar
creature, nearly pygmy in size; Eliin had told him earlier that it happened to
get in the way of a nasty spell he had been experimenting with. Brushing the
bird-like animal aside, Azrael walked slowly up to Eliin's desk, seeing the
Altmer turn around with a rather sour look on his face.
"Ahh, this looks like a wonderful conversation; better choose my words
tactfully", he thought."You wanted to see me, sir?".
"Yes", the aged Altmer replied, "I did."
Azrael readied himself for the worst; he had seen the old Wizard's temper fire
up before. The Altmer's face suddenly changed expressions, turning from a
grimace to a grin, "I've been hearing that Kraj has been heckling you
lately. He's a resident master, so I can't remove him, though. If you would be
interested, I could re-locate you to another branch of the guild."
"What a perfect opportunity", Azrael thought to himself.
"Why yes, sir. That sounds like a nice idea, thank you for considering it.
Kraj has been getting in the way of my studies lately, and I was prepared to
take it to you the next time."
"Very well", Eliin replied, "How does the Gnisis branch sound? I
have recieved word that they are looking for a new alchemist, and you are more
than qualified to go take the job"
"Thank you sir, that sounds wonderful", Azrael replied, with a
sincere grin on his face.
"Very well then, you leave tomorrow, I've already sent word by
guild-guide."
Azrael turned to leave the room, when his steps were interrupted once more by
Eliin's authoritative voice, "Oh, and Azrael. My apprentice-boy found a
rather nice dagger in a mix of worn out metal scraps we were going to use. I am
sure you would be interested, would you not?". Azrael turned suddenly,
drawn by the thought of a new aid, "Why, of course sir. Where is this
weapon?" "I have it right here", the Altmer replied, taking it
out of his robe's upper-left pocket. He threw it to Azrael, blade first. Azrael
caught it, and stuffed it quickly into his own robe. Smiling, he turned to
leave for Gnisis.

Razub could hear the creature sniffing, and he could see the tip
of it's huge, scaley mouth sticking into the doorway. It was a fleshy colour,
and looked much the same as a cliff racer's beak, only much, much, larger.
After what seemed like hours to Razub (even though it was just a few minutes),
the beast finally revmoved it's mouth, and let out an allmighty screech. The
sound of beating wings could be heard, and Razub moved from his hiding place. Phew!
That was close. Let's see what these idiots were carrying, and what kind of
stuff they were hiding here. He looked through the scorched skeletons of
the bandits, and took any gold, jewellery, and throwing weapons he could find.
Some of the stuff was even enchanted, and he even found a glass dagger that was
enchanted with all kinds of damaging spells. He looked around the blackened
walls of the cave, and saw that there were a good deal of chests filled with
various valueables. Or at least he thought they were chests. There was only the
soot covered iron frames left, and they were still hot to the touch. He took as
much as he could carry in his sack, and left, continuing his journey.

sat down he handed Dante the flin he ordered "Here..." he says waving
the bottle infront of him "thanks" Says Dante snatching the bottle
from his hand and making his way up to the bar to enjoy his drink in peace.

Yasur found himself pinned to the wall by a gigantic orc.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY ABOUT MY MOTHER, DUNMER?" the orc shouted
furiously. Yasur spat in his face, which earned him a punch to the head. Yasur
began muttering a spell. The orc, too stupid to know what Yasur was doing, felt
the full force of the fatigue draining spell. He collapsed, and Yasur brushed
himself off before healing himself. Stupid orcs, say one thing about their
mothers, and it's an instant barfight. "Well, that was fun." he
said to no one in particular. Yasur went back to his table, and downed his
flin. He then saw Dante over at the bar, and walked over to him.

Aricyn sits, looking out a small window across the dusty grey
ground, to the tower where Loranna is held. The pen in his hand hovers over
fine parchment as he rubs the stress from his temples. Frowning, he crumples
the parchment into a ball, throws it across the room, and starts again...
"A missive to Her Most Royal Majesty Elysana, Sovereign Queen of Wayrest,
from the hand of Aricyn, late of Hfelgard, Skyrim;
"Your Most Excellent Majesty, please excuse the directness in sending this
letter without a formal introduction, but I am afraid that present
circumstances preclude proper formality.
"Your Majesty is well aware of the band which includes the girl Loranna,
who claims to be the incarnation of the Daedra Prince Azura, which to your
loyal servants surrendered, and was taken to Morrowind under their guard. I do
not know the circumstances of the grievance your Majesty has against the girl
or her party, but I am sure that your Majesty's wrath is as just as it is
terrible. I would not presume to beg for their forgiveness.
"I would, however, take the liberty of enlightening your Majesty as to
their goal in Morrowind. The goal, bluntly put, is to secure the faith and
following of the Dunmer people and return them to the worship of their
ancestral patron, Azura. It has come to my mind that this cannot sit well with
the King of Morrowind, your Majesty's most royal brother Helseth.
"Your Majesty's familial love is without question, of course, but rest
easy, for while incarcerated by your Majesty's soldiers, that company is
completely thwarted from harming the security of King Helseth's throne, a fate
that otherwise would be almost certain. Our exploits in Skyrim are no doubt
known to your Majesty, and thanks to your noble men, King Helseth's country and
throne shall be spared such chaos.
"I write this so that your Majesty will be well informed, from all sides
of this matter, and may therefore be certain of acting in Her Majesty's best
interests. The Daedra Prince Azura intends to do nothing more than unite her
people then return to Oblivion, and one wonders in what state this would leave
the country of Morrowind if King Helseth were to have lost power in the
process.
"I believe that I am in a postion to assert some considerable influence
over the girl Loranna and the situation in general, and hope that your Majesty
will not hesitate to contact me if I can be of service.
"Again, I hope that your Majesty can forgive the intrusion of this letter.
"May your Majesty's rule be long and bountiful.
"Aricyn~

Razub felled the final bandit, and walked around collecting his
throwing stars. He took a fine robe inlayed with various jewels, and put it on,
seeing as how his cloak had been torched by the creature. It also contained
many pockets, and most of them contained various potions. He removed the store
bought potions, and replaced them with his much higher quality ones, drinking
one to fix the cuts he had recieved. He was about to leave when he spotted
something in the dirt. It was a small trinket, but it had a blood red glow to
it. Razub picked it up, but instantly felt a darkness start to creep into his
heart and soul. He also felt a great power coming through it, so he shoved it
into one of his many pockets.

Wayrest, High Rock
Queen Elysana was the portrait of sweetness and light as she knelt before the
statue of the dragon god of Time, Akatosh, in her private chantry in the royal
palace. Akatosh had always been the patron of Wayrest, though the merchant
classes who made the city and kingdom great were often more devoted to
Zenithar. Elysana was praying for Akatosh’s help, and her advisors knew that
meant either one of two things. She needed a delay, or she needed something to
happen fast.
They also knew better than to disturb her, for in her own way, she was a very
devout woman.
“Would you speak with Lord Ciel who has arrived from the east?” Thryrl
Castellian, spymaster and replacement for his sister, asked her when she
emerged.
“Oh, yes,” she said with a smile of great warmth, her eyes twinkling. “I will
enjoy giving him his honors. Any other matters of interest?”
“A letter,” said Lord Castellian, handing her Aricyn’s letter.
She read it, smiling, her face never showing even a hint of a reaction.
“Will you be writing a reply, your majesty?”
“Yes, but not to him. I need a scribe and the fastest courier to send word to
Lord Liris.”
When she had finished her dictation and send the courier on his way, sweetly
murmuring that he would please her if he traveled very quickly, she turned to
Lord Castellian, “Now, bring Lord Ciel to me. I am ready to give him his honors
for disobeying my orders.”

From within the Void, Mirror watched. He wasn't sure why he
cared. Perhaps it was the spectacle of loyalty in a hopeless cause. He felt
somehow that Ciel was a kindred spirit. He had been watching him, now, for a
very long time.
Did Ciel even want his help? Could he help? If he could, and he did, what then?
He was acting on his own initiative. He had not spoken to anyone at the Guild
house about what he was doing.
He watched and waited.

Waiting on the Queen in a small antechamber, Ciel paces back and
forth. He thinks of his last conversation with quarry, likely still in Gnisis.
Mid pace he stops in front of the mirror. He looks and sees the rose
embroidered on his finery. Pausing he raises a gloved hand to the reflective
surface laying it flat on the glass. “My love and my hate, I see it now as I
always have,” he whispers, “I regret now, in this circumstance, that I was not
able to do better by you. This rest I am to find, a release from the hauntings
of my failures. Those men that burned, they’re eyes asked me Was it in vain
my lord? I whispered no. I could not bestow my ultimate fate upon
myself despite the husbandry it would bring to the cost of such ceremony as I
am about to receive, my transgressions are too great. I do not deserve such
ease of passage. Many nights I have wondered if presented the same choice
again, would I lay down and die in the service rather than take a higher route?
I know the answer now, no.”
Dropping his hand from the mirror he turns about.

"Wait," Mirror said. The handsome young man's face was red with

Nalion climbs over the railing of the ship that had brought him
to the northern shore of the West Gash. His eyes scan the tiny fishing village
of Khuul.
A part of the village was built on stakes and wooden planks, some reaching
quite a bit into the water. Small fishing boats were rolling slighty under the
planks, some were drawn on the shore for repairs. Khuul was no particularly
pretty village. Some houses were covered in moss and seaweed, and the fish
offal swapped continuously up and down the beach. A fishy smell lay over the
whole village nearly drowning the fresh salty odour of the sea.
Nalion wrinkles his nose. "I'll surely not stay here for long.", he
thought. Moving across the wooden walkway, he makes for the small trading
outpost to buy provisions. After doing his business there, he slowly heads for
the silt strider port a short walk away from the village.
"Why walk when you can ride?", greets the man tending to the strider.
Nalion smiles. Silt strider guides had the same mentality all over Vvardenfell.
"Why ride, when you can teleport?", Nalion asks in return. And to
himself he thinks "I wanted to say this at least once! For a long
time...!" Then he vanishes using a Divine Intervention spell, leaving a
baffled strider guide behind...

"Right... let me go look and come back."
The strange young man took a run at the wall... but instead of knocking himself
senseless on impact, he disappeared.
From within the Void, he could see all the passages of the castle, even the
hidden ones. He could see the people moving and with the right string of power
he could see the paths they were most likely to take. He stood still for a few
minutes... but not too long. Elysana's men were on their way. Now they had a
time limit.
Mirror returned, and gave his report. Now that he had a clear task in hand, his
nervousness vanished.
"Castellian's on his way. There are quite a few men with him. They seem to
expect you to put up a struggle. Which means fewer men in other places. Go out
the back but don't bother with the maze, just use magic and get out. I'll meet
you. Give me your cloak."
Mirror swung the cloak over his shoulders. Booted feet could be heard outside,
approaching their corridor.
"That's it for time. Go. I'll meet you. And I'll try to spare your
friends."
Mirror ran at the wall again, and appeared in the middle of the marching men.
Ciel could hear shouting, drawn swords, and the rush of feet... away from him.

With a quick peek out the door to make sure the guards were
gone, Ciel slips out into infamy as he makes his flight across the city to the
tavern. There were moments when he seemed all but caught by the Queen’s men but
Mirror always arrived to make the crucial distraction.
The Bottle was a fairly well to do establishment, serving customers whose taste
was a bit more exotic, it’s position on the bayfront eased considerably the
transport of goods from ships to the tavern. The interior was lit with shaded
lamps and it’s patrons in private rooms enjoying fine commodities from far
shores. Ciel waited in a private room for the young man who had aided him in
his departure from the castle.

Razub quickly ducked down as the axe slammed into the rockwall.
It was now stuck and the bandit was busy trying to pull it out while Razub drew
Tooth. He quickly stabbed the muscular Redguard in the stomach, puncturing the
steel plate. The man let out a scream of rage and pain, and pulled away before
Razub could retrieve his dagger. The famed "Adrenaline Rush" was now
taking full effect, and the Redguard quickly pulled out his axe from the rock
with one hand, and ripped Tooth out with the other. He gave a mighty roar, and
charged at Razub. No, no, no, NO! Razub ducked as the axe gave him a
haircut, and ended up with a large hole in his robe. Imagine, being killed
by my own dagger. He quickly rolled as the axe gave the back of his robe a
trim, and had one of his whiskers sliced off by Tooth. Razub began running, but
soon found himself crashing to the ground from a tackle. He felt something hard
in one of his pockets, and reached in. It was the crimson amulet. He put it on
just as the bandit was about to deliver the finishing blow. Razub felt a dark
power surge through him, and he slashed at the redguard, his claws slicing
through the armour like a hot knife though butter. He let out the roar of a
wild beast, and jumped onto the redguard, slashing at his face. The brigand
started to scream, but found no vocal cords to scream with. He fell to the
ground, he face and neck torn to shreds. Razub felt the power start to leave
him, and he removed the amulet. Yet a portion of the darkness remained. He
looked at the remains of the redguard, and vomited, disgusted both at the gore,
and himself. After resting for a while, he head off again, feeling a heavy
burden inside his heart.

Still amazed by this young man's particular talent Ciel shakes
his head. He makes his way out of the tavern and heads for the docks. With the

Maranda noticed a number of familiar faces throughout the
tavern... yes, indeed Daidez had come through for her again. She would use this
as an oppitunity to discover Azura's first forbiden name of Stasis... It would
also be a good place to look out for Loranna's Friends, possible enemies of
Maranda, and Lorannas enemies, possible allies for her masters work. She saw
Daidez enter the room, followed by a young Redguard girl...
'He-who-hunts-elves' followed soon after, sitting down at a nearby table.
'Ah, Daidez, you always seem to come through...' Maranda said, thinking how her
master could ever order her to kill him... 'who might you have brought allong
with you?'
This is the Redguard, Shardie... a former crusader for the
Imperial Cult in her younger days... Daidez responded,
somewhat unevenly on the last part
'And those younger days were when you were 12?' Maranda said, looking the girl
over, she was quite young...
No, madam, I joined the order when I was 15 to get away
from home, but I quit after a lechious priest tried to have his way with me...
'And what is your views on the Daedra and the Aedra, organized religion and the
such...' Maranda asked, seemingly innosantly, but Shardie picked up on this
Although I was once in the servace of the divines, I do
not hold anothers religion against them...
'For your own safety, I shall not tell you what why we are hireing you... It is
a 10,000 gold downpayment for an indefinate time... do you agree?'
Shardie smiled, ITs a deal
The last of my characters intro
Name - Shardie (female)
Race - Redguard
Colour - Purple
Class - Crusader
Hired by Maranda as extra grunt and as protection, Shardie is a strange
character... She was once a member of the Imperial Cult in Morrowind, but she
quit after a certian incident, offering her services to anyone who wants them.
Armed with a sword, and skilled in Heavy Armour and Restoration Magics, she has
no items of renoun, an Ebony sword and Templar Armour is what she wears...
And so my characters are in place for the RP. Maranda, Meridia, Daidez (who
I have a strange feeling might not be around for much longer),
he-who-hunts-elves, and Shardie Its a lot, I know, but I'll kill a few off here
and there
(edit... perhaps yellow is not working, clashes with the background, so she is
now purple)

Lord Castellian reported to his queen, his head bowed low,
trying to keep his blood from dripping on the marble floor.
When he looked up, he met her face, a perfect match for the marble floor. He
had never known her to lose her smile before, no matter her anger.
“I have already directed a full search of the city,” he said, quickly. “No
shop, no hovel will be exempt from a full search. Any who offer resistance will
learn the price of disloyalty.”
“Blood spilled in my palace,” she said, her voice steady and dull. “By someone
disappearing and reappearing as if by magic. It is worse than an affront to me.
It is an impossibility. My very sanctum has been invaded. My palace may be
filled with spies even as we speak. I will speak to my sages, and see what
might have transpired here … I will not have a power like that present in my
land without my control. It will either be brought to me, or destroyed.”
She rose, and left the throne room, pausing only to say, without looking at
Castellian, “Do not heal yourself until you have brought me a satisfactory
report. Let your wounds fester until you have proven to me your competence.”

*Erenius left Tel Branora and came to Khuul by boat before going
to Ald Velothi via foot*
"Here should be a good waystation...but for how long may it be of
use?" Erenius mutters as he walks into the local watering hole, which also
happened to be the main store for sundries and equipment.
"What you here for?" the owner shouts as Erenius enterred.
"Calm yourself...I come merely for food and drink, maybe a place to
rest," he replies as he sits down and throws the owner a few coins for the
meal. "Make it quick...I am simply passing by, and until reason permits, I
will likely be staying. Have you a room?"
"Bah...a room?" the owner scoffs. "You want a ROOM in this
dump?...better luck in Gnisis...but with events there, it may very well be
packed soon enough."
"Yes...with that crazed girl claiming to be Azura's mortal
incarnation," Erenius replies, trying not to reveal he knows Loranna.
"That be the reason...so stay a while and make yourself at home...but I
doubt you'll find something of worth here," the owner says as he throws
Erenius the key across the bartable to his seat.
"Thank you," Erenius replies as he takes the key and leaves for the
location noted on the key.
'Seems like this will be quite the fiasco I'd imagine...' Erenius thinks to
himself...but sure that Dagoth could hear it should he be atuned to listen.
"Waiting is the worst part of it, huh?" someone at the door says.
"Who might you be?" Erenius asks as he slides his hand to his dagger.
"Noone of import," she replies.
"Then you have no qualms of telling me your name, I assume," Erenius
asks.
"I have none...however, my name is of no concern to you...but it should
suffice for me to tell you that I hail from Cyrodiil, as do you...I from
Colovia...and you from the Nibeny Valley I assume, if only from your accent and
style of armor," she replies.
"True...and I gather you have not tracked me down simply to find a fellow
Cyrodiil that is in this region and not of the Legion?" Erenius replies
smartly.
"Correct. I am Apinia..." she replies.
"I don't believe it," Erenius says as he stands up and walks to her.
"Is it really you?"
"Yes, Erenius...it is...and if I were you, I'd stop following that freak
around...and also stop fratrenizing with Liches and Skooma-addicts...and
half-breeds...and werewolves, amongst who knows whom ever else," Apinia
replies disapprovingly.

Hearthfire..." Erenius says to her as he turns his back and continues to
look over his map of Vvarenfall.
"And I'll never forgive you for that instance...but I shall rejoin you
should you want," Apinia says as she walks behind Erenius and puts her
head on his shoulder gazing into the map as well, not seeing what Erenius sees.
"For now, certainly..." Erenius replies. "I could use the
company. I guess I'll order a second room?"
"I took care of that myself," she says again as she turns around and
leaves. "And you best not leave come morn."
"I won't!" Erenius shouts after her as she turns teh corner to her
room a few doors down.

Stepping outside the mages guild Azrael breathed deeply and,
careful not to trip over the excess fabric of his new robe, which he swiped
from the guild supply chest on his way out, began to dash off in the direction
of his home, which was just across the open town square, "This will be a
great opportunity; Maybe this Gnisis area will hold some answers."
Azrael arrived at his house to see Gromm, the local Nord drunk, standing
outside his home, woozy from a 'day at the pub'. Gromm had given Azrael a hard
time from the moment he had arrived in Balmora; he was a racist of the worst
kind, throwing words at Azrael he had never dreamed of any man saying,
"shaeae..HEY! What'sce youU doinn' HoME?!". The Nord wavered, then
fell over on Azrael's steps.
"Disgusting Creature", Azrael thought, as he kicked the Nord aside,
spilling his ale onto a nearby plant, which proceeded to wilt horribly.
He pushed the drunken Nord completely off of the steps to his house, and
quickly went inside, closing and locking the door behind him. Once inside, he
turned around to face a room full of parchments, alchemical ingredients, and
small bladed weapons. Azrael was an avid collector of artifacts, and had, among
many other short swords, a very special item which he could not identify--a
short blade, silver with a twinge of gold, and a slight blue-esque glow about
it. He walked over to his bed and removed it from a case on the shelf, "I
may need you on the road, so out you come."
Packing everything he needed for the move was a chore; thankfully he had the
aid of a magical bag, which was given to him by a monk in his 17th year. In the
bag he placed a handful of various stars and darts, a pair of folded, black
pants and shirt, marked with a peculiar symbol on the right shoulderblade, and
a mass of other items with which he intended to travel; Azrael never did trust
the guild-guide at this guild, nor did he particularly enjoy taking one of
those giant "silt bugs" from town to town. If he was going to walk
from Balmora to Gnisis he was going to need to pack light.
Taking one last look out of his window, Azrael undressed, revealing a long line
of scars down his back, in a peculiar pattern resembling a face; he placed the
clothing neatly on a stool next to his bed, stacking his bag next to it and,
ready for the new day to begin, slipped under the daedra skin blanket that
Eliin had given him as a welcoming present the day he joined the guild.
"Tomorrow, we will see where this adventure takes me", he whispered
to himself, before rolling over and falling, quickly, into a deep sleep, one
eye open.

*Erenius stop studying the map and makes the appropriate notes
on it in some script resembling Daedric but seemingly older and more primitive*
"Few know the language...fewer can read it...and yet fewer can understand
it," Erenius mutters as he puts the map into its canister before removing
much of his clothing and falling asleep on the cot in his room.

Mirror's story:
(or, Every Void Ranger has a tale to tell...)
Ever since he was a boy what he loved more than anything was to move at speed.
Riding horses didn't do it. Levitation didn't do it. What he loved was the feel
of his own body perfected.
But soon, too soon, he ran into a plateau past which he could progress no
further. He traveled, looking for masters and secrets; went to monks and
acrobats, masters of their own bodies. Until at last, at the ripe age of 16, he
was forced to admit that now he was the master - all others must come to
him for study. He had stuck firmly against the ceiling of human endeavor.
So he turned to magical enchancements, mastered the art of alchemy, creating
potions to make himself faster. Learned to make himself more clever using yet
more potions, enchantments, spells, so that he could study better, craft magic
better. It was like pulling up a weed - all connected beneath the ground, so
that plucking one little sprig meant digging up the whole yard. Years passed.
Potions and ingredients and parchment cost money. His family had disowned him.
Even the beautiful young men he raced against no longer understood him. His
only consolation was the sight of his own body in the mirror. He studied the
perfect shoes, to put them on his perfect feet. Everything he learned, he put
back into the pursuit of speed.
Into the blood pumping in his ears and the veins in his legs standing out like
cables. He was faster now than any creature seen on Tamriel. Faster than the
blood in a man's veins, faster than the sound of an arrow speeding to its target,
faster than the thoughts of a maiden wavering between two lovers.
He became, in the end, so fast that the world could not keep up with him.
Was this it, the source of all his hunger, this black and silent cathedral to
no one? Was this the end and the perfection of all his endeavor? Within the
Void there was no reason to run anymore - no place to run towards or away from.
And it was cold. He liked heat, liked to be drenched in sweat, legs cramping,
each breath a knife, reaching for just one more step, don't think, just do it.
He stabbed himself in the chest one day, for no good reason, or at least for no
more reason than he had for running in the first place. Stabbed himself and
watched the blood spiral out into the outer darkness, into that place which was
not a place, which had never tasted flesh; the Void which felt no hunger only
because it didn't feel anything. He heard his own heartbeat grow faster and
more ragged, felt prickles, then stabbing pains, in his legs and his fingers.
Knew, for one white hot, blinding second, just how stupid he was and how much
he really did love this shell of flesh. But by then it was too late. He could
barely force his eyes open, much less build up the speed to push through to the
Inside.
In that moment he saw her, like a star where there was no star. Walking like an
angel, or maybe like an animal. She picked him up in her teeth and things got
fuzzy after that except he woke up at home, because Skein had seen his traces
in the Void, seen his struggle not to die and sent the General after him.
General Light. Like a star she came walking where there was no path.
He was mostly okay, after that. But he still liked running.

Daggerfall, Solunastra Guild House:
At the same moment as Lord Castellian bowed before Elysana, another man bowed
before another woman, in another kingdom.
"I don't know why I did it," Mirror said. "You can do whatever
you want to me, I expect that. But Ciel is not a bad man, just a man serving a
bad master. And he wanted to live. He said so, and I was watching. I know I had
no orders but it went against my heart to let him die."
Allerleirauh stood and listened quietly. Her expression had changed, over the
course of his narrative. Right now her face was very still, her expression
unreadable.
Dragon was looking, not at Mirror, but at her.
"Someone else say it," Allerleirauh said. "It sounds better that
way. Dragon, you say it."
"Mirror," Dragon said, using the young man's guild name, not his real
name. "Your heart is more important than her orders."
As he started to speak, Mirror flinched; as the words emerged, he looked up,
startled, into Allerleirauh's suddenly smiling face.
"Oh, Tris. CHIM is precious wherever it appears. You stepped off the path
long ago, and without a path you foundered in darkness. So I gave you a new
path. And today you have stepped off my path. Congratulations, you are beginning
to become a person."
"I think we should give him something," Doll said, jumping up from
her seat and rushing out of the room. She returned a few moments later, with a
jeweled clasp in the shape of a sun. "This doesn't do much, just locate
lost keys. I found it in the treasury the other day and thought how pretty it
was, someone should be wearing it." She pinned it at the throat of
Mirror's bloodstained jerkin.
"It does look nice on you," Dragon admitted.
"You don't understand," Mirror said. "They SAW me, I broke Guild
rules. Queen Elysana's advisors are probably hunting up information on
trickster cults right now. This could have terrible consequences, terrible
ones."
"It will," Skein said, quietly.
"Then we'll face the consequences as they come," Allerleirauh said.
"Tris, when I took you under my roof, I took ALL of you, including your
heart. Even when your heart opposes my own. Auriel demands obedience, which is
easy. The Void Ghost orders that we disobey; a paradox. And out of that
terrible tear in reality comes everything worth having. Tonight you can sit at
the head of the table."
"I don't believe this," Mirror said. He put a hand over Doll's hand,
which lingered on his chest. "You're giving me HONORS for disobeying
orders?"
Allerleirauh turned and smiled at Solin and Arynel. "If we don't honor
each other, who will?"
Posted by: Arynel Dec 7 2004, 02:23 AM
"Orders..." Arynel mused. "A man hanging from a ledge must cast
aside the limits of comprehension, and reach out towards the mystery that may
lead him to salvation."
The Breton pauses.
"If that is not worth honor, I know not what is."

ooc: It might be a good idea when we begin the next thread for each player to
start off with a brief introduction to help people follow the action. Something
of the "When we last left Elysana, she was talking to her sages about the
sudden" blah blah blah variety.
Obviously we can't resummarize every page, but it'd be helpful for all of us to
keep track of what's going on, especially since the action is so spread out.
Knowing where Aricyn is, what Loranna is doing, who Allie is with ... All that
would be nice to know as we begin a new thread.

The orgim picked up Razub and tossed into one of the walls of
the Daedric inner shrine. He heard several bones crack, and pain shot through
his whole body. The orgim was at least twice as big as a regular ogrim, and
it's arms practically dragged along the ground. It started running towards
Razub, who threw 2 knives at the beast. One of them hit it's eye, while the
other flew off in a completely different direction. Ah well, 1 out of 2 aint
bad. The knife continued to fly along, until it hit one the chain of one of
the censers. Then it started happening. The censer's chain snapped, and it
started to fall down, hitting the statue's (which happened to be of Mehrunes
Dagon) head. At first nothing happened. Then it started to fall forward, giving
a loud groan as it did so. The ogrim looked to the falling statue, and it's eye
widened. The statue finally finished it's descent, and cruhed the ogrim. The
shockwave, however, made the walls start to crumble. Brick by brick, the walls
collapsed, followed by the ceiling. Razub was of course long gone, but a soft
moan could be heard coming from below the rubble.
OOC: Sounds pretty good Sheo.

Azrael awoke to a rather startling knocking on his door; shaking
himself awake, he slipped on his robe, pocketed his dagger, and walked slowly
to greet the cacophonous racket. He opened the door and looked down, seeing a
rather grumpy Bosmer with a note in his hand, "You stupid Dunmer! I've
been knocking for the past..."
Azrael snatched the note from his hand and drew his dagger, pressing it, quick
as a flash, to the Bosmer's throat. His eyes flashed a threatening red as he
growled, "I answered the door. Now go, if you value the ability to knock
at all." He removed the dagger from the Bosmer's throat and turned around,
quickly shutting the door and retreating back into his home. He grumbled and
opened the crumpled piece of paper, reading the barely legible scrawl of an
apprenticing guild-scribe:
Dear Azrael,
Eliin informed master Na'tep of your agreement to join our branch of the guild
last night. The master is pleased with your decision, and I am writing you back
to inform you that we have a spot waiting for you. Please see me when you
arrive, and I will provide you with further details on your new position. Ask the
guard at the front door to speak with Goeeta'.
Goeeta'
X
Azrael gathered his bag of equipment, donned a finer black robe, made of a
strangely silky material, and set off for the mages guild to have a final word
with Eliin before he left for Gnisis.
Eliin was working in his study, busily pruning the feathers on his cliff racer,
so that he could remove a thorn in it's wing, when he heard the patter of feet
scampering up the spiral staircase leading to the room. He set the racer back
into it's cage, and glanced quickly at the viewing glass on his desk to see
Azrael walking hastily towards him. Grinning slightly, he sat in his chair,
waiting for the Evoker to reach him. After a moment he spied what seemed to be
a ruffle amongst the shadows, and Azrael appearing from the dark staircase.
"Hello, Azrael. Have you come to pay me one last visit before you leave,
then?", he asked, admiring the shiny blade that protruded slightly from
the Dunmer's pocket.
"Eliin, before I leave I must share with you something. You have been
invaluable to my training, and a good friend..."
Azrael and Eliin exchanged words, a fair few facial expressions, and shook
hands. As Azrael turned to leave he was once more interrupted by Eliin, as he
had been so many times before when trying to make an exit. He turned around,
smiling, to see what the old Mage wanted, "Azrael, you should take our
guild guide to Gnisis. I know you don't trust Marlea', so Roolish'k may escort
you; it will be much quicker, and safer, than attempting to make your way there
on foot." Azrael nodded, and dashed back down the stairs to greet
Roolish'k, and prepare for the next chapter in his search for a life left
behind so many years ago.

other things around him, not thinking he needed too.

"As I thought..." Apinia says. "I always figured that there may

"What you speak of, Apinia?" Erenius asks. "Besides, how would

"I also know of your khajiit friend, and the others...includind the Dunmer
werewolf...the pupeteer, and some others..." Apinia continues.
"Yes...they also are in the party," Erenius says. "But I must

"Simple...my mother is a Nord, and she was in Stonehill at the
time..." Apinia says.
"Very well then," he replies as he takes his belongings and leaves
for Gnisis.

The sun rose on Elysana’s summer estate in the Wrothgarian
Mountains. The queen, her guard, and her sages had traveled all night through
treacherous, curving roads, and from there over unpaved, unmarked path to get
to the secret location. It was where she retreated when feeling most paranoid,
for no one but her most trusted knew of its location.
In the summer, the trees blossomed and the land had a wild beauty all its own.
In Evening Star, snow blanketed the mountain, and ice sparkled from the trees
boughs. It was lovely but cold, like the face of the queen.
Before they had reached the palace, she was already hearing her sages’
theories.
“There are a great many possible explanations,” said Agamys. “Even the best
shields of dispel magicka have warps in them that may be exploited …”
“Have you considered the possibility that it was not one lone rescuer, but a
group, perhaps identically dressed, giving the illusion of a single man?”
suggested Vonnod.
“There are powers that even the great mortal mage cannot prevent,” said
Canthorme darkly. “The hand of Oblivion. That affair with the girl who some say
is Azura.”
This gave Elysana pause. She had considered her many, many enemies, from
Orsinium most obviously, to the other powers of the Bay, to her step-siblings
in Firsthold and Morrowind, but not that. It made sense. This man Ciel under
her command is sent to kill the group that includes the girl, he disobeys her
orders and spares the group, she moves to kill her disobedient guard, and Azura
or one of her minions reaches through the walls to save him.
It was a discomforting thought. She was a confident ruler. She would stand up
to the Emperor if need be, but a Prince of Oblivion?
“Other possibilities?” she asked.
“Well …” said Naphiticles uncertainly. “It’s pretty unlikely, but –“
“If you’re going to suggest what I think you are,” snorted Vonnod. “Don’t waste
Her Majesty’s time.”
“I would hear what you have to say,” the queen said, eyes flashing. “And then
tell you if it is foolish or not.”
Naphiticles told Elysana about the Void Rangers, and she listened.

Tarik was talking to an orc in the tavern, not really listening,
just has him there for the conversation, when a altmer he knew walked in, he
kindly dismissed the drunken orc, and asked the altmer to come over.
"So, do you have it?"
"Yes. Here is your package, it has not been damaged at all. I hope it is
to your satisfaction. I hope it is helpful in whatever venture you are on, Keeper
of Forbidden Secrets. Good day."
"Good day."
In the package is a custom set of gauntlets that summon a clannfear familliar
to the casters side permanently.
The altmer ran out of the tavern with a scared look on his face, not knowing
what his friend was getting himself into.
Tarik just laughed at the altmer's lack of spine and downed another flin.

Well, we're at 200 now; I'm going to call for a lock and set up
a second Announcement thread.
I'd also like to mention a suggestion Tedders made in the chat room earlier
this week, that we all start off our next posts in the announcement thread with
a small summary of where our characters currently are and what they're up to.
We're still looking at getting things officially started this Friday; whatever
plans you've laid by then will start going into motion and all sorts of merry
things will happen
