New Theme

Sadly, the Poetronachs are still refusing to regurgitate the old theme. Thats OK; it lived a long and fruitful life. Instead we come bearing a new theme option for the website. The Imperial City, as the new theme is called, is a sleek gray theme with red accents. Its available to all registered users. Those of you without accounts are stuck with Aetherius (the minimalist white one).

To change your theme, simply go to Login & Profile, select the Edit tab, and tick the appropriate button.

Tons of thanks go to Proweler, for helping me make and troubleshoot this theme. If you experience any problems or have any comments, please report them in the appropriate location

Updates: New things to view

We have been working on getting the Library back in shape and there are some new things to look at. Random book and by tag are new features. Okay, the last one is not new, we had that before but it looks allot better now!

Series like the Real Barenziah, Brief History of the Empire and Songs of Pelinal used to have their books spread out over different pages. This was alltogether rather cumbersome if you wanted to read them all together, this is now possible!

To do this we have created a drupal module that displays all the books of a series on a single page. You can do this by double-clicking the title of any multiple-section book.  Single-clicking that same book will expand the menu and allow you to view each separate section one part at a time.

Updates: Poetronachs ate the theme!

Hey folks, updates to the Library were carried out successfully.

But right now you might be wondering why you are looking at this awful Drupal theme and not the dusty old brown you are so used too.

The explanation is simple: the Poetronachs updating the site ate it. No seriously. We'll hope to get it fixed soon.

Updates: Forum Archives, Scholar's Guild, and more

Hey guys, Lady N here, reporting on some of the progress around the library.

First up, the Forum Scholar's Guild, a staple of TIL and lore study, is back in operation. We took the move as an opportunity to reevaluate and edit the guild, bringing it into the 21st century and making it as useful as possible. Many of the old articles have been trimmed, and those that remain -- including the Final Report to Trebonius, the Dragon Break at Red Mountain, and the Rebel's Return -- are definitely worth reading.

Joining the Guild is simple: all you have to do is write an article that clarifies or explains lore, post it in our forum, and send one of the librarians a PM once you think its ready for review. We will then review it, and if its approved give you the necessary permissions to post it to the site. Details on submission and guidelines can be found within the FSG page (under the "Collaboration" section of the menu). Although you can write about anything that interests you, we especially need articles on the statue of Sithis (from the Vile Lair plug-in), the Dreamsleave, and the Dragon Break.

Eurogamer's Todd Howard Interview

Eurogamer conducted an interview with Todd Howard.  In it, Todd mentions two projects (one in production and another in pre-production design).  Let's hope one of them is a new Elder Scrolls title.
