My first of these warnings began with disdain of cliche. Writing the final note as blood seeps from my belly fulfills the worst of these tropes. Apologies.
Just run. Go back to the beach. Spend the rest of your days in the sun and sand. Dying in the dark like this is scary. I can't help but cry over my own end.
Ignore the voice. Do not let it taunt you. Just flee.
