Hello, I'm trying to find information on all holidays in The Elder Scrolls universe for the Polish TES wiki and I've found Jester's Day on both UESP and The Elder Scrolls Wiki but I can't find any information there or anywhere else about the references -I mean where did this certain holiday appear? In which game, in which book, where? Could you help me with this?
I don't know if it's okay to create a forum topic here for this, sorry if I should ask in another way. But I think you guys are quite credible and here's a lot of people who know a lot.
Well, if the Calendar of Tamriel page on here is credible, it would seem as though Jester's Day has been around since Arena
Thanks, though I mean where is the source? Was is just mentioned in-game, so TES: Arena can be given as a reference on the wiki, for example?
Towards the end of the aforementioned Calendar page, it has a calendar supposably from the TES: Arena installation manual. It has the months and the holidays listed, Jester's Day being one of them
Thanks for the help! I couldn't find references about it here and I forgot this place has the calendar from Arena, I'm sorry. Anyway, thanks for letting me know.
No problem at all

Just for future reference, it would be most appropriate to post questions like this in the Lore Forum. General Forum was meant for primarily non-TES related discussion.
Moderation here at TIL is pretty chill, but I've been noticing more and more topics in General that would appear better under Lore or Games that I thought I had better begin bringing it up.
Will remember this. Thanks for telling me.

I also think I remember seeing it in Daggerfall (when you enter a town and you get a little pop-up), but I could be mistaken.

Jester's Day was first introduced in Arena (as the Calendar page reveals), but it was also present in Daggerfall along with many new holidays. My copy of Daggerfall Chronicles lists it as the 28th of Rain's Hand, celebrated in all regions, and as a happy holiday (abbr. Ha).
Poor Cicero's cheer cut smiles in the faces of all Sky's Rim. Why not a soul breathed dour sighs this Jester's Day.
