Try jumping from buildings. I hear that helps.

Clearly your acrobatics skill wasn't high enough.

After screwing around on google I decided to search "The Imperial Library" and avoid any result with the URL of "www.imperial-library.info" and found out that TES Wiki actually has a page about TIL! I think that's pretty cool. Here's a link if you guys are interested.

American Evangelicals are Actually Heretics

Something like fifty six percent of American Evangelicals are Arians. Regardless of your views, America's disembarkment from credal roots should be concerning. Not only are American Evangelicals powerful, they are increasingly ignorant.

About as ignorant and naive as the social justice warriors and their regressive, leftist tactics that mirror religious dogma and rhetorical prerogatives. A modern scourge on college campuses and freethinking conclaves alike. It's as bad as zealotry and sycophantic behavior. It is a form of sycophantism if you think about it.

This is the double edged sword of contemporary, bi-partisan politics (and the in-groups they influence); generally, the liberals are naive hypocrites and the conservatives are ignorant troglodytes. Although it should be noted that the left are the current spelunkers - delving deep inside Plato's cave - in search of a fantastical safe space.

Conversely, would be, neo and long time affiliate Republicans have quested in the same cavern. It's why they're realists. For better or worse, they've been fucked in the ass by a stalagmite or two. Conflict, adversary and nature make us pragmatic, not idealism or ideology.

As a moderate, I must acknowledge it.

It's a metaphor describing how reality kicks you in the teeth and you lose your "special little snowflake" perspective on the world. How nature and reality can make you lose your naivety and idealistic views. Actually, I think I'm loosely paraphrasing something from Oliver Stone's JFK. Something Kevin Bacon says about Garrison not knowing anything because he's a liberal who's never been (metaphorically) fucked in the ass. All in all I think it fit quite well with my theme of idealistic safe spaces as Plato's cave. Little stalagmites of reality and inherent inequality poking and prodding you out of the caverns of ignorance. A bawdy observation no doubt, but not intended to be facetious.

I glanced some of Vonnegut's prints at the Indianapolis Central Library, today. I really enjoy his devoted use of primary colors.

1. Walking home through the park. Run into this one little dog. Dog barks. Suddenly a whole pack of those little dogs show up growling. I turn around and shout. Whole pack turns around and runs away. Mother fucking Thu'um.

2. Firewatch.

As someone with almost 100 credit hrs worth of graduate coursework in related fields, can confirm. Though it's not just American evangelicals, its a pretty universal issue.

In regards to power (I'm assuming you mean political), being theologically orthodox doesn't translate in the slightest to being politically informed. Not sure what connection you're making there.

It's interesting browsing the lore parts of the forums (here and official) after being generally absent for quite a while. I read topics and think to myself "I'm sure I would have had quite the strong opinion on that five years ago when everything ever written and all of my positions on each topic were fresh in my mind."

On a side note, I used to be Master on the official forums, and now I'm Diviner. Did I get downgraded in a forum purge or something? I'm pretty sure I was almost Patriarch.

Welcome around. :D

And yeah. I haven't been gone, but mellowed none the less. Idealism is a young mans sport! Though the practical essay writing skills still serve me well. I think quite a few posts have been deleted so your post count would be down.

I think I need to sleep more. I keep posting comments in the wrong threads. Even now I have my fingers crossed, hoping I'm in the right thread. I already sleep 11 hours (on average) each day.

Hello everyone

I'm new to the site, but I've been reading Kirkbride's works and some of the ESO cut content for awhile. Lately I'm taking free lessons on coding but not making too much progress. Unemployed at the moment, but life's going pretty well.

psst hey. You. You won't believe this, but I spent the last six months homeless in Indianapolis. Interesting people, the homeless... very interesting. Some make a life of it, hopping from shelter to shelter. Some turn their lives around. Many, many reasons for being homeless, too. It was a good experience, but I won't do that again. Having said that, I didn't quite turn my life around... I moved back to the parents'.

I need an artifact of little consequence to get me rich again. (Its clear [pauper] is not willing to work for his riches.) Here, let me mark it on your hologram.

Oh, don't even think about selling it yourself: its a quest item!

(Yes, this is a plug, but I'm shameless.) Check out our Shogun 2 overhaul: Master of Ambition. This inaugural mod has received over 600 views in two days. Pretty decent for a game the Nexus didn't host yet. Weierstrass, author of Master of Strategy, has given me his blessing to continue where he left off, and he's certainly laid a formidable foundation. Updates are incoming about every other day, so don't worry about support.

Glad you had some support structures to turn to.

Since you brought it up, what was your reason?

I was probably feeling good that day, wanted mention where'd been.

I found a good shelter, but I went sulking back to my parents'... I'm a basement troll again, and looking for one of those Obama/Trump jobs. Gave me a new outlook, in some ways good.

How about all the Bethesda.net gripers use their daily quota to migrate to the Nexus? Better mods, better moderators, better rules, and more games.

My Shogun 2 mod, Master of Ambition, is in it's v. 0.6 and up at the Nexus. Features completed include new tech trees and arts, most mons, and adjusted faction colors. More features are in the works, such as unit balancing and building effects, as well as many others planned. Remember the Realm Divide mechanic? Its getting an overhaul, too. You can report issues, contribute ideas, and just follow progress at the Nexus or Total War Center.

Sorry, I meant your reason for becoming homeless (in response to there being many reasons why people become homeless).

As it happens I once spent a year living in my truck, but that was completely by choice so isn't really in the same vein.
