Here we have yet another YouTube prophet peddling his invectives.

The video that I currently have up is just a test. Excuse the horrible pacing and diction; it's literally just me reading from one of my Facebook comments and amending and improvising as I go. I'll likely be taking it down after I've given the content more serious thought.

I have no idea if I'm going to keep the channel in its current form, if I'll be using the same rant-at-the-camera format or even if I'll be posting content along the same lines, but I think we can count on it serving secular, humanistic videos and hosting some empathetic, informed discussion between people of all persuasions. It will probably be the companion to a blog, as well.

Every time I clean up and arrange icons on my two monitors Nvidia decides to turn one off, shuffling and dislocating the icons to the smaller monitor.

If you're that bad at cracking eggs, you really probably shouldn't be cooking.

And, um, this sounds stupid, but how long ago did the forums change exactly?

Thanks, Hitch.

Just a sappy video saluting one of my heroes and wishing him well with his cancer battle. Oh, and drinking wine.

Also; Number of videos I have published: 2. Number of videos in which I am drinking: 2.

This spells trouble.

Holy shit, go die in a ditch Drupal. I spent 3 hours (!) attempting to install it on my server until it finally took pity on me and worked. Its great user-side, but so far admin-side is a pain in the posterior.

I'm listening to "Military Fashion Show" by And One, coding up the Hammerfell website's concept art section, and wearing a home-made cardboard corset.

After reading that, I've come to realize my life is rather dull and uneventful.

I got a new house. Now I live in East London, in the borough of Hackney. It's Shangri-La for hipsters, which is interesting and ghastly at the same time.

It's great to wake up to things like this, it really is.

My medical college admission test is this coming Friday. Shit, this is stressful.

I still have to do questions on organic chemistry and biology. FUCK!

Positive: I love my Renaissance Art and Thought class.

Negative: I was apparently fired from my work study job, without anyone telling me. Fuck you, financial aid office. Hopefully they just decided to reassign me (hopefully to the still life room or the resource library, which would literally mean sitting around for 8 hours and getting paid) - I'll be really pissed off if they cut my funding completely.

Random: Our campus has an overabundance of adorable dogs.

It's been an eventful few days. I went to Maryland, but unfortunately BGS closes on Saturdays. I impulse-bought Infernal City because I found it in a Maryland bookstore, got lost in Jersey, ran out of gas in Connecticut, and was verbally hired again for my Christmas Temp job at Gamestop.

I also bought Metroid Other M and my brother is moving out so I get more space and a story-heavy sci-fi game. Nice.

EDIT PS: Also, my new semester starts up soon. taking Acting, Archaeology, Short Novel and Shakespeare's Early Works.

EDIT PPS: AND my superior at the library is leaving Thursday so that means I'm de facto in charge of the Children's Room. Everything's coming up Jeroic.

Positive: I went to a Renaissance Fair.

Eh...: I got tarred and feathered.

Negative: I'm oblivious when girls like me. Does paying them attention give them wrong signals?

Supernegative: I don't want girls to like me.

Fuck yea, Ren Fair! I went to the MD one this weekend wearing a child's Peter Pan costume. Had a great time, though I didn't get to see any of the performances (the kids have no attention span).

I'm going to one later this month. First time I've even heard of one being held around here. There are going to be knights and jousting. Fucking knights and jousting. I am so psyched. :D

I went to King Richard's Fair once. The jousting show was great. I made friends with one of the security guards and we talked about axes and the German Knight's acting, which according to him was better than usual the night I went.

Maryland's official state sport is jousting. Cause we're awesome like that.

Wish I'd known that when I was down there a week or two ago. That would have been fun to watch. But there were plenty of bookstores around College Park and Rockville, so no regrets.

Oho snap. Thank christ for assertive lasses or i'd never see any action.

Renaissance fairs confuse me cos you can't move round here for tripping over genuine medieval type stuff. I reckon I get the same feeling an actual Japanese person would get at a western anime convention. Any excuse for a hog roast is okay by me though, and I look the business in period garb.
