What happened to Jyggalag?

My question is basically the same thing as the subject. What happened to Jyggalag after the Greymarch in Oblivion? He just kind of disappears after you defeat him.

I think the pertinent question here is: since you now embody Madness, can you really trust your memory, or what you supposedly witnessed?

In that case, wouldn't the Greymarch still take place at the end of each era?

That's the implication, yes. At least as far as "the end of each era" is a correct statement. Jyggalag very well may be an integral half of Madness, and as the latter is manteled so too must be the former. One could even suggest that the CoC's defeat of Jyggalag was the first step of this process. "Fight like them until they must fight like you."

Alternatively we could define Jyggalag as simply a daedric lord with little interest in Nirn or simply the lack of a support/follower infrastructure there. He has been cooped up after all these years, after all.

Well, I would think that since the CoC is now occupying the Throne of Madness, Jyggalag would be free to be his own entity, relieved of the curse that CoC took upon him/herself. I read the theory about the CoC mantling both Sheo and Jygg but still can't wrap my brain around how that's suppose to work. By that logic, to me anyway, Lorkhan and Akatosh should be one in the same as well as the other gods like Molag Bal and Boethiah, since they both represent the opposites of each other and it's implied they are trapped in an eternal conflict.

I think it's been implied through numerous texts, lores and books that there are countless planets/planes in Oblivion and that there could be more than 16 Princes ruling them, some who never make an appearance on Nirn. Jyggalag could have very well been one of these Princes, having no desire to get involved with Mundas and instead focusing on frying the bigger fish. Such as spreading his order all throughout Oblivion, essentially trying to take over the known universe.

Like Arden Sul, when the CoC becomes Sheogorath, he also becomes Jyggalag aswell.

So then what happened to the original "Sheo-lag"? Are there established precedents for mortals mantling the "uno-duo" prior to the CoC? Or did we literally kill him?

Sheogorath was created from Lorkhan's creativity, so I'd assume that when Arden Sul became sheogorath he destroyed the original. Maybe? I don't really know.

I remember reading somewhere that it basically goes Sheogorath 1.0 (Sheogorath), Sheogorath 2.0 (Sheogorath/Arden Sul), Sheogorath 3.0 (Sheogorath/Arden Sul/ CoC)

Prior to Shivering Isles, we hadn't witnessed a mortal take the mantle of a Daedra. However, the Moon Reaver of Battlespire passed the Mehrunes mantle to the Dremora Imago, Storm.

Dagon's tolerance of the antics of Xivilai and Faydra, and his acceptance of the clanless Seducers into the inner counsels of our clan, are an unfortunate divergence from Dagon's otherwise prudent policies. It would be better if my Lord, and his most wayward lieutenants, were to take a short vacation while I restore Clan Dagon to its normal stability.

... In taking Battlespire, our clan has overreached its resources and judgements. A time of change is coming -- It is written in the firmament -- And it is time to make fast and conserve our realm, not to extend our grasp. Battlespire is a rich resource, and will be coveted by the other clans. We do not need such distractions, especially as the Storms of Change come upon us. Is that clear?

Could be the Quartz-Clock King of Order will appear again in the end.
