Updates: Forum Archives, Scholar's Guild, and more

Hey guys, Lady N here, reporting on some of the progress around the library.

First up, the Forum Scholar's Guild, a staple of TIL and lore study, is back in operation. We took the move as an opportunity to reevaluate and edit the guild, bringing it into the 21st century and making it as useful as possible. Many of the old articles have been trimmed, and those that remain -- including the Final Report to Trebonius, the Dragon Break at Red Mountain, and the Rebel's Return -- are definitely worth reading.

Joining the Guild is simple: all you have to do is write an article that clarifies or explains lore, post it in our forum, and send one of the librarians a PM once you think its ready for review. We will then review it, and if its approved give you the necessary permissions to post it to the site. Details on submission and guidelines can be found within the FSG page (under the "Collaboration" section of the menu). Although you can write about anything that interests you, we especially need articles on the statue of Sithis (from the Vile Lair plug-in), the Dreamsleave, and the Dragon Break.

Up next, I'm proud to announce the new forum archives section (located under the "Developers" heading). This section includes many important threads on lore, including the original threads for several obscure texts as well as classics like the Made-Up Word Roundup. Also included are many individual developer posts, some of which date back to 2000, and include everything from explanations on Argonian mating habits to in-character fragments about Vehk Ships. If you find a thread or quote worth saving, please post it in the appropriate thread

You might also have noticed a new Tags link in the menu. Eventually, all the content in the library will be tagged to describe its content, and you'll be able to sort pieces based on the information contained (for example, all items relating to the Khajiit). We're still working on customizing the menu and tagging the thousands of articles within the library, but its basic framework is already usable.

Other updates include the Characters section, which now includes all Morrowind main quest characters, complete with pictures. Additional information, characters, and images will be added as time goes on. Also updated is the Translation Dictionary, which has been reworked from the ground up. It covers some 200 terms, including never-before-posted Ta'Agra and newly translated Kothri.

As always, make sure to report any problems you encounter :)
