Owh, didn't realize you needed admin rights for that.

You should be able to change it now.

Just remember that it does change your profile's url and the name you log in as.

Since the latest bumper crop of spam bots are all using gmail adresses with loads of dots in it (presumaly to avoid email bans) I've denied access to all gmail adresses with more then three dots in it.

Most people shouldn't notice this but it should cut down the number of bots actually signing up and taking up my attention.

If you do happen to be J.J.R.Tolkeen.Jr@gmail.com you can remove the dots. Gmail ignores the dots in the email adresses.

You mean there'd been bots here and I hadn't noticed?

If thats not sarcasm, I think we did a pretty good job at deleting them before anybody noticed. :P

I noticed, I just lack the habit of clicking links advertising free sex.

Yes, stay away from "free sex".  We all know you have to pay for it...umm...never mind.

In dating/presents or in cash, it comes out the same. One way or another, anything regarding real-world sex on the internet is either deceptive or a couple's private messages on facebook.

I'm not 100% sure if this is the right place, but there is something that has been itching at the back of my neck for a long time now!

On Sermon 33 in the "36 Lessons of Vivec", the part where Qwerty comments on how the Ministry of Truth appeared above Vivec, he... I don't know... generally all around bad grammar is all I can say.

For the sake of appearing more professional (no offence to Qwerty! I'm sure he would want this to be fixed if he saw it!) I think it should be fixed...

Here's what it says...

'By the way, this sermon tells how did the Monistry of Truth appear in the skies of Vivec City!'

See? O_o

Would it be too much to ask to get the old Ionith thread locked?

What happened to that link to all the raw text books? Is there much in it that hasn't been posted yet? Because if half of Skyrim's new books turn out to be excruciating volumes of who-cares concerning Sithis and the Dark Brotherhood, I will be miffed.

The host apparently took it down. Here's the version I uploaded for the librarians. It's missing the books I added, but should otherwise contain everything we were sent. There's a couple more interesting things that we've not gotten around, and a bunch of repeats from previous games. We won't know if that's all until the CS drops and we can go back and check. I'll see about adding the rest of the new books tomorrow.

I removed the file because I forgot that the server is already near its traffic limit. The file contains all books and notes. Many (or most?) books seem to be recycled from Morrowind and Oblivion. The dialog strings contain some interesting tidbits. Someone is talking about (having) Keening and Sunder ?!.

It only appears that way because those were the ones I started to add.

Odd, the site was down for a few minutes. I got a screen showing a message from the host and everything, telling the owner of the site to come rescue it.

Nothing special in the logs. Just a database restart.

I can't reply to posts for some reason. In addition, the background to the comment field isn't like, greyed out. It normally is, kind of makes it a bit hard to read. I have no idea wtf, tried logging out & back in, changing pages, refreshing, nothin'.

Yes, I've done some updates to the site. I'm looking into it now.

Okay, I have narrowed the problem down to this bug in the forum access module.

The problem is that the edit link is missing. I'm expecting a fix in a few days. For now, hit reply and you'll get a url that ends with /comment/reply/number/number. If you replace reply/number with edit, so that it says /comment/edit/number you can edit your own post.

I reallize this is not convenient at al, but I'm a little stuck here until the next update.

Okay the background in the editor window should be fixed now.

Firefox users may incidentally also notice that their spelling is checked again. Do control+right click to access the suggestions.

There was a study on what happened at Red Mountain by Sinderin Velin on this page before the changes. I really would like to read it again, but I can't fuind it anywhere on the net, not on this page either. None of the old links work and the site search brings up nothing either. Have you taken it down or have just not moved it yet?
