While writing an article, please make it standard so that all the articles have a standard and consistent format.

Fields

  • The title of the article must be put in Title field. Do not put it in the Body.
  • The author of the article  must be put in the Author field. Do not put it in the Body. If there is no author information, just leave it as Anonymous.  Your forum username will appear as the one who submitted it.
  • Leave the Librarian Comment field blank.  We will take care of comments.

Tags

  • Do not tag your article at this time.

Text

  • When writing content, please use standard Format from the editor, for example:

This is normal text.

This is heading 1

This is heading 2

This is heading 3

This is heading 4

This is heading 5
This is heading 6
This is italic

blockquote

  • If you truly need to use color for your text, please use: class=annotation.
  • Don't use any other color as it breaks the theme color.

Images

  • If you use images, since all the articles' images are stored in the same folder, we must use some conventional format.  The name of your image should be fsg00_image-name.ext
    • The name should be unique and refer to the title of your article.  For example, an image from the Morrowind book A Hypothetical Treachery was given this file name: mwbks_hypothetical_treachery.jpg.
    • See the attached image below for an additional example.
  • Upload the image using the File attachments drop-down menu.
    • Using Browse, locate the image on your hard drive, and then select Attach.
    • Once uploaded, a url will appear below the Description of the image file.  You will need this information later.
  • To insert the image, select the Insert/Edit Image icon from the wysiwyg editor.
    • In the URL field, copy the aforementioned url and paste it in there.
    • Always put an Alternative Text name.
    • Set the Border to 0.
    • Set HSpace to 5.
  • If your image is too large, please resize it by adjusting its Width and Height (adjusting one will automatically adjust the other).  You can even link the smaller image to the larger one:
    • Adjust image size.
    • Click on the Link tab.
    • Paste the URL into the field.
    • Change the drop-down Target menu to "New Window (_blank)".
    • Hit OK.
