Hello all! I think it's been some time since my last visit here but I'm happy to be back. Looking to settle down with The Elder Scrolls for the long haul this time as I just seem to always feel drawn back to it more than any other fantasy IP, much in thanks to the in-depth efforts of communities much like this one. Looking forward to chatting with you all in the Discord and occasionally on here when I remember to check! Hoping to get to pitch in and assist as new content comes out, once I've caught up with it myself that is. ESO certainly has a never-ending amount of lore to indulge upon.

Hello everyone!

I'm new to Elder Scrolls in general and just started playing ESO.  My name is Eli and I've been a lifelong fantasy nerd.  I did play Morrowind back on xbox when I was very young, but I just couldn't get into it.  Fast forward to just a few months ago when I downloaded Skyrim and it really changed my mind about the whole series.  Since I just started ESO I figured it would be good to join a community and then I saw this one dedicated to the Lore of the series, which is something I get in to with most games/books/movies I fall for.  Looking forward to diving deep into the world!

Greetings all!

I have been an Elder Scrolls player for some two decades now. After playing through both Zelda 64 titles, I bought an Xbox and fell in love almost immediately with the world of Tamri-El. When I'm not writing religious apologetics for the Tribunal Temple, you can find me slaying elder gods in Quake, traversing dimensional rifts in Doom and Half-Life, and patching up my plasma wounds in Halo.

I am excited to dive into conversation with you all and can't wait to share some of my work.

Hello All,

It has been quite some time but I'm thankful to say i have returned to TIL after a long absence. Hoping to be more active in the forums!

Since then I have completed skyrim, as when i first joined i barely got my copy and have finished oblivion GOTY. I began playing morrowind about 5 years ago on the xbox one but i think mods are necessary, and since watching the legendary Zaric Zhakaron and many Dagoth Ur memes, have decided to get a PC copy once its on sale.

I have been all over the sight and it says "Your fan work posts will not appear until a librarian sees them and verifies you are human", but I can't even seem to post a draft or submit it anywhere?

Hello.

I am a long-time fan of the Elder Scrolls. Admittedly, I am on hiatus from the series for an indefinite amount of time - I've enjoyed it at its high and low points since 2005, and despite my concerns - I am looking forward to seeing what TES6 has to offer, even if it is going to be disappointing.

I made an account here because... I sincerely, honestly believe that I either experienced miraculous, spontaneous curing of my depression, went insane or had some sort of... supernatural, paranormal experience/delusions. I probably had derealization and depersonalization syndromes for a while, and I genuinely felt like a part of a simulation, like some force higher than me purposefully affected my state of mind. I know it sounds outlandish and I do not question anyone's right to think that way.

It all happened concurrently with me falling in love with someone and making amends with old friends that I hurt in the past. I am not afraid of saying it: I wish I could contact Michael Kirkbride himself - because I believe he personally had a similar realization many years ago which he described as CHIM - and what I find interesting is that he seems to know, or have known, other people who shared his experience. I think I would benefit greatly from sharing this experience with him, but whether he wants to engage with me or not - that's up to him.

Regardless of how you receive my introduction, whether you think I am insane, bold, outrageous or interesting - and how Michael might receive it - I wish everyone a good time here. It is a good, ambitious project here which has brought me lots of joy.

Greetings all.

I have been an avid reader here for many years and yet only now have been able to get access - thanks to Benefactor on Discord.

I have explored all 5 main games, Blades and Legends.  Also recently played ESO.  I have experimented with mods, yet I actually prefer to explore already existing places.

How far does my madness go?  Skyrim is a good example:  Original on PS3, Original PC, Legendary PC, Special Edition PC, Anniversary Edition PC, Special Edition Switch, Anniversary Switch.  I also own physical and digital lorebooks.

Awesome to read of your story.  I am curious as to why the hiatus from Elder Scrolls games?

Hello, everyone!

My name is Rei, and I've been a fan of The Elder Scrolls for quite some time now, like many of you I suppose. I have been playing both Skyrim and Oblivion for years now, and constantly find myself wanting to learn more about the world and lore. So, I thought, what better place to do so than here? I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can, and hopefully even make an acquaintance or two that would put up with my rambling! <3

Hi I am JTR.

I have trouble playing the TES games properly due to personal conditions, but I really like the fictious settings and histories and lore of the TES universe.

I mainly read, fantasise, only sometimes play the games and discuss.

hope we can have a good time here.

Ayup, everyone!

So I’m just Burnolio, nothing special here. But I do love lore and this site has actually helped me quite a bit with understanding TES more deeply (I only registered now though). Also cats are cool, as well as khajiit

Have a nice day/evening/morning

Hello, folks! I've been playing these games since I was in elementary school, and I've lurked around here reading up on lore since I was in high school without making an account. TES lore has always fascinated me, because honestly I've never seen another game, or any other form of media, that goes this deep into spiritualism. Despite being an Atheist myself, I guess I just like stuff with religion in it. (my favorite film in recent years is Silence)

Here's hoping TES VI will give us more lore to munch on. Thank you to the forum elders for all the work you've done for the community over the years. Salud!

Hello!
I'm gonecrazybacksoon :) I'm the current Co-GM of the Loreseekers Guild and have two ESO Podcasts that I co-host where we discuss loads of game topics. Have had quite a few lovely interactions with other Lore-folks and am looking forward to more of those here, hopefully. I actually thought I had previously made an account when I originally joined LS and UESP back in the day, but realized I must have never finished setting things up.

Excited to be here, and love reading and learning about the Lore of the Elder Scrolls!

Hello, I'm very excited to be here!

I got started on The Elder Scrolls a while back now, but not too long ago. I was introduced to the series with Skyrim at a friend's house and there isn't a day he, and the ear I talked off of him, don't regret showing me the game. Nowadays, my favorite TES game is Morrowind, by a long shot. Learning about the Dunmeri culture, and the way that the game actively encouraged you to read and to think about the lore of the island and the world it takes place in from multiple perspectives, really made the world feel real and like something worth caring about like no other TES game that I've played. The theology in Morrowind is also fascinating and I hope to learn more about that.

As anyone who liked Arena or Daggerfall can probably tell from my username, I usually like to play Bretons.

Again, I'm very excited to be here and I can't wait to do some reading :)

Greetings respected people of Skyrim. I go around with the sobriquet of Howdygentz. Nothing to tell much, though; I know about TES for a decade now, started with Morrowind and played it like three times. Completed Oblivion, Skyrim appeared to be a tough nut to crack though. Mutsera Kirkbride did, no doubt, fetch with his baffling Vivec's Sermons, the Pelinal's song and definitely many more things; it is noticeable, that TES is indeed an unusual phenomenon in the fantasy genre, something biblical and lovecraftian at the same time is present there. So much to learn, so much to find out, good luck strangers!

Hello all. For several years now, TIL has been my go-to site for TES lore, so I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the people who manage this site.
