Been here for a while but never made an introduction. I'm from Ireland, have been playing Elder Scrolls games since shortly before Oblivion came out. Have met some great people in the community over the years and the many different names I've gone under.

I am hoping to do either History or Organic Chemistry on a college level.

hello everyone my name is Ethan ive visited the imperial library on many occasions (since the release of Morrowind) and i have decided to register to make good arguments on why i think that the aldmeri dominion was doomed to failure from day one im also a very prolific person and would like to see how things unfold after my posting of a few articles after all gathering differing opinions is the way to true knowledge on any subject im paticularaly interested in the dwemer and would like to understand why such a knowlegeble race of elves suddenly vanished

Welcome one, welcome all. I'm glad to see shining and fresh new faces (speaking metaphorically of course). I can't wait to finish Skyrim to talk to all'y'all about the Dwemer and Thalmor and Dragons, but at the moment I'm avoiding spoilers (still quite some distance to go) so you'l have to start the fun without me.

Hi! I'm Kaye. I'm an aspiring writer (how original, right?), and I have jumped into Skyrim over the past weekend.

Welcome.

We'll have to schedule a goat sacrifice for your initiation; Lady N handles appointments. We still do goat sacrifices right?

Mostly virgins these days, but I suppose we can do a goat for old time's sake.

(also, hi!)

Damn, I thought the virgins were just for the Shadowy Forum Clique and keeping mods away. Good thing this is the internet, else I might worry about running low on sacrifices.

It's simple, really. We draw the virgins from the BSF's lore forum and from here, those who survive the sacrifice-slash-orgy are officially invited into the Temple. To be initiated into the Temple takes extra procedures (as I'm sure you're aware), so most of those who make it through remain bound to the library.

The scary part is that you two sound so serious. :/

The main part I'm serious about Reds is relocating, maybe you could offer your place for a change in scenery. Adas been very hospitable, but the novitiates have sent complaints that the place is starting to gather a stench; that's nothing against him, it's just there's only so many of these things you can have in one place before the scent starts to sink in.

I actually snuck into the Temple while it was still under construction, thereby bypassing its initiation. I've only heard what stories Sload used to tell and seen the masks hanging about.

I just kind of woke up there one day, missing part of my liver and tattoo'd all over. Goes to prove that you should never drink with Imga.

Wait, wait, wait... Mr. Putty is back? YES!

(And you're all more than welcome to come to my place... I have two beagle puppies! :D )

This has me thinking. N has been sacrificing virgins to herself all week, I've been messing with the library mechanics and Ada is the poet of the lot.

We're fucked.

Yeah, but at least you are all around doing things -- that's more than I can say for Xan and me.

We're exempt by virtue of seniority, else I'd be first up to the sacrificial block.

That wasn't the point?

Owh and hi everybody, welcome to the Imperial Library!

At least Ada might gain trancendence before the end.

You know, 'Introductions' just doesn't seem right for me. Don't we have something like a 'Gone a while, now I'm back, all rejoice' kinda thread? If not we need to rectify that situation immediately. Or not, you know, whatever. This is the first of (possibly) many  returning posts for me. Maybe. Or I could post this whole thing then fade back into obscurity, remembered only as a dim legend from ages past. I'm cool with that too.

Whoops, I almost did disappear again. Had you all worried, didn't I? But I now have access to steady reliable internet for the first time in years, so get used to my continued presence.

Yay. Hangouts & catchings-up must be done promptly. Ye olde gange has an e-mail chain going on to keep in touch and me and YH tend to be on steam a lot of the time. Send me a PM and I can give you some contact info and stuff, if you're missing that.

Hi, I am Mortazo. I used to be active on the TES lore forum and had an account on the old TIL many years ago. Due to running Ubuntu on my computer and having no money, I can't play Skyrim but still found myself in a lore fix with questions that UESP couldn't answer. Also I have found myself locked out of my TES forum account due to some kind of big password shift that happened at some point in the last year, and with the email that was tied to that account now non-existent, I decided I would just come here with my questions.
