Hi, I'm new. I actually found out about this forum by listening to the Elder Lore podcast. I'm still loving and playing Skyrim after all these years and getting into taking a more role-playing approach to it. I love the Elder Scrolls lore and find it fascinating!

Hey there, everyone. I'm not new, exactly. I actually joined a while ago (my profile tells me 32 weeks and 3 days), but around the time that I joined my family and I were moving. As we had a lot going on with that, and there wasn't a lot going on here -at least not that I was involved in- I eventually forgot this place existed. Sorry, it happens. But not too long ago I was googling something or other TES related, and TIL was one of the results, and I was like "Oh hey, I remember that place! It's been a while. I should go back."

And so here I am, dropping in to introduce myself...again.

So some things about me.

*I'm 22

*I now live in Georgia, though before that I lived in Missouri for a while, and before that I grew up in Iowa.

*I've played Skyrim, Oblivion, and Morrowind (in order, from longest to shortest playtime). I made a few different attempts at playing both Arena and Daggerfall, but I couldn't really get into them. If they ever were ported to consoles with natural-feeling controls, higher frame rate, and maybe improved graphics (I wouldn't care if they left graphics alone, but I certainly wouldn't complain if they decided to update them), I'd probably play them just as much as Skyrim or Oblivion. Not saying it's likely to ever happen, just that it would be nice.

*I enjoy parenthases

*I recently downloaded Pocket Mortys. It's not bad. Kinda funny, but also a bit frustrating at times. I'd give it a 7 or 8/10, would probably recommend.

*Speaking of fun mobile games, I also enjoy Card Wars. I main Merceline with a sand deck.

*I'm a conlanger, though I'm only pretty average at it. I also conworld. If you're on facebook, I'd recommend joining the main conlanging group, Conlangs. I'd also recommend joining CCOTAB (Conlanging Conversations & Off-Topic, Also Bhutan). They're a pretty fun bunch. If you do join, tell them Jun sent you.

*I like a bunch of things, dislike some things, and have no opinion on the rest. I don't wanna bloat this post any further, so I guess you'll just have to learn the specifics of that, and whatever else I haven't mentioned, through conversation.

Thank you for your attention.

Hi! I'm Soler. I've been playing TES games for just over a year now, and I just recently started becoming a part of the community. You can find me on most Elder Scrolls-related subreddits and Discord servers.

Hello all, I go by Djanax Xikuuze, a name given through that of ties with the Xivkyn. I actually played Daggerfall first some time ago (I am 19), then played ESO since it's console release in 2015. I then played Skyrim in the Fall of 2016 for the first time and at the moment am about to play Oblivion for the first time. This game series feels like a life away from the real world that I love and in some way fear. It's grand really in my opinion and I love to try and study up on the ever expansive history of Tamriel. But why the "odd" name you may ask?

Djanax comes from a name for a Daedric Titan found at The Reaver Citadel in Coldharbour - When it comes to the surname of Xikuuze, Xikuuze Lineage is by far the strongest and most numbering bloodlines to be seen and often being referred to as a "Cult" in the eyes of the Unknowing. In the real world however we are naturally a select few, with some imposters, who call one another good friends and family. We reside in the Ebonheart Pact of the Elder Scrolls Online. We are a rather known name to older Elder Scrolls Online players on the Xbox One and it is a solid family.

Sorry for that long intro but I am glad to be a part of this forum. Thank you :)

Hi,

Haven't visited The Library in years. Made an account now.

When I look in the side bar I notice Skyrim is conspicously absent. Is there a reason for this?

In the storylines section? We just never had anyone write it up. Not a purposeful slight, just a lack of manpower.

And laziness on my part :P

A little moonsugar can fix that.

Hello All,

I am Adrienne. Ilmarë on Discord. Other names in other places. This is a wonderful trove of lore you have here! Thank you for all your hard work spinners. It is a feast for the mind! I was going to ask what non-magicka users are called, but I believe they are called mundane - just as non-magicka items. Unless anyone has a colloquialism to share which I have not yet found?

Oh, and I use one space after each sentence to avoid pooling. Except when my keyboard decides to put too many periods, thus ending the sentence in an ellipsis...  :D

Hello everyone!

I join these forums in the hopes of finding people willing to engage in lore discussions. As my name suggests, my main interest is the Dunmer, due to their complex lore. I also think they lend themselves the most to discussions, as a lot of their history has varying accounts.

I greatlyt enjoy RP'ing in Skyrim, and I like my characters and their motivations to make sense from a lore perspective.

Speaking of which, when is making new threads permitted? There's a topic I'm dying to gather some opinions on, and it's essential for the RP of my current main character. So the sooner the better.

You should be able to create a topic right away. If not, make a few posts in other threads. The forum has certain protections up against spam bots, so you might have to prove you're not a bot before it lets you post a topic.

Welcome one and all!

As Fiore said, we manually approve new members to avoid spambots. As soon as you make a comment on a thread and one of the librarians approves it - which you've done and I've done - you gain full posting, commenting, mailing, etc. privilages.

Greetings and Salutations, all.

I am Ulag gro-Bagol, Orc Scholar and Linguist, student of the Arcane School of Restoration, and ex-Legionnaire, for my sins.

I am here to show my insights about the Orcish Languages, and to learn more about them myselves - I have even written "A Critque on 'Torug ag Krazak' " to be the primary statement on Orcish Literature.

I thank you all for your generous acceptance to me in this library, and hope to contribute to the community as to the best of my abilities.

Yours,

Ulag gro-Bagol, F.I.U. (Fellow of the Imperial University)

Hi all, I'm new!  Despite the user name, I don't actually know all that much, and so I'm hoping to find more lore here. I've been playing TES games for quite a while, yet I seem to have curiously never managed to actually finish one!   Usually I get distracted by side quests...collecting items...shiny things...finding creative ways to keep Nazeem from talking...

At any rate, glad to be here and looking forward to exploring the library!

So, hi!

My moniker is Copper. :D I have a friend around these parts who introduced me to this site because I have a semi working knowledge of TES, and I'm revving up for the Nintendo switch version of Skyrim. I like dragons.

I've played some of Morrowind and a hint of Legends, and those are my only real experiences with the series. I am super excited that one of the games is coming to a Nintendo Console though! I've been eating up the lore in the meantime, which is why I'm here! :3
