Calm down my lady, wouldn't want you to mess around that pretty little head of yours xD
I see. Well then, forgive me for addressing you improperly.
I'll rephrase; thank you miss Sero.
pmsl XD
@OriVerda: Don't listen to Crow-Silencer. He's lying.
I like you already mate xD Welcome haha
Then I double apologize! My, my I've made the greatest of impressions here. Anyway, as a new guy with an eagerness to learn, where would you recommend I begin?

Well, what interests you?
Well, what interests you?
Hmmm that's extremely tricky.
I am fascinated by the Dwemer, the history of the Nords, Nedes and Atmorans before them, the various Empires of Cyrodiil interest me, the Psijic Order has great allure, learning about necromancers such as the King of Worms, to study the realms of Oblivion and their masters, the enigmas of Aetherius and perhaps most of all what lies beyond it and into Aurbis.
Heh, perhaps I should start somewhere smaller?
Oh, is real-life background information regarding the Elder Scrolls (development trivia, inspirations, etc) also a topic covered here?

You could start by reding the Tamriel Timeline. If something jumps out at you, type it in the search and go from there.
As for the real-world inspirations for TES, I know that some forum threads have talked about them, but I don't know if we have one that talks about them as a whole.

Neat. Thank you!
Hey everybody. Nice to meet you all. I'm a big fan of TES, of course. I like the metaphysics and cultural development of the world, especially Morrowind and what little we know of Black Marsh.
I like to write and worldbuild. At the moment I'm planning my own c0da about Argonian culture and the nature of the Hist. I'll probably post some ideas here to get some feedback and help develop the concept.
Hoping to learn more about the lore and make some friends who care as much about this fictional world as I do.
You are in the right place to learn and find what you want. Welcome!

You might also want to try own new discord page for a quicker reply.
Well, it's about time I actually introduce myself. Hello, I am The Observer. As the name suggests I am more of a reader than a writer. Although that is something I aim to change.
Oh and if anyone happens to know a good Elder Scrolls RP site that isn't completely dead please do let me know...
Hey, I'm Soner.
I mostly joined just to shoot the bull about TES and its lore. But I also enjoy writing, and I've dreamed of making my own mod for ages, so maybe I'll eventually contribute more than mild conversation... although you probably shouldn't count on it.
I started off my Elder Scrolls life by playing Morrowind, and at this point I've at least tried most of the series, excluding Arena and ESO. Skyrim is probably my favourite on a gameplay level, although I still think Morrowind has the funnest story of them all. I'm also vaguely interested in RP, which I saw earlier people mention, if anyone wants to lemme know where that stuff happens.
Welcome, both of you!
I know people RP on English wikia's forums, but now that's turning into a thing called "discussions", I mean that there will be no forum but that discussions thing of wikia. So I have no idea where the RPers will go, some will stay. We have a sort of RP on TIL it's about writing a story together, being co-authors of a fan tale, not actual RP as most of you know. I'm a RPG player in real life, I play Dunegons & Dragons, Wanhammer Fantasy Roleplay... And I have some pdfs with fan systems for TES RPGs. So if you and anyone else wants we can RP together as well, in the usual way with our own characters. With rules and dice or without.
Hello! I'm not actually new here, but I decided that I wanted a fresh start here after going inactive for a year or so. Anyway, some things about me:
* I'm a hobbyist writer and hope to make a living out of it someday
* I love the lore and worldbuilding in the ES games, although I don't play them as much as I study their worlds
* Michael Kirkbride is my hero
* I'm a huge fan of the Walking Dead comics and collect TWD action figures
* I collect older video games from the Gamecube era and older
Thanks for reading, and see you guys around the forums! :)
Welcome back, Oracle!
Didn't we have this topic on the old boards? I broke my username with an email address typo. Anyone else with a new moniker, identify yourselves.

Hey ho, I'm lonjil, and I'm here to... err, be a user, yes.
My favorite TES game is Morrowind, followed by Skyrim, which are also the only TES games I've played so far.

Welcome both.
Mathieu here, just a simple Discord-goer with an interest in High Rock, Cyrodiil and pre-civilization Tamriel.
HELLO FELLOW HUMANS. I AM A HUMAN LIKE YOU. I AM NOT A SUPERIOR ROBOTIC LIFEFORM.
Which is to say, I am An_Old_Sock and was told I needed to post here to be counted as a real person on the Discord server. :P
Welcome guys. If you have any questions just ask.

Ability to follow basic instructions. Not exactly the hallmark of humanity but it seems to work out alright for us. :D
Hello, my name is Dillon. I have the same username on UESP, where I am a patroller. A lot of my work there has been to the Redguard namespace, which has some links to media here.
Welcome! Have fun here :D
Hey, I'm a Storyboard returnee from, oh gosh, almost a decade ago. So long ago, in fact, that my previous profile no longer exists, it seems. I mostly existed in the Roleplay subforum, and am planning to do the same now. Digging around through the posts, I see the large majority of the folks I used to know are no longer around. Which is a shame. Nonetheless, I'm happy to rejoin the community as a new face, and am excited delve back into this rich, meaty lore.
Welcome back!
Greetings everyone! I am polarrobotfrog, TES enthusiast and roleplay fanatic, joining for the first time!
Hiya. Back in the day, I used to be more active in the Elder Scrolls lore communities, including writing some apocrypha that got pretty good feedback. After a long absence,I'm wanting to return to lore and roleplaying. Back in the day, I wrote a few lesser known pieces of monkeytruth on Bethsoft that got reposted or referenced elsewhere, but honestly, I can't find them anywhere haha. I wrote Erik the Atlatl, a Kwama-Vivec love poem, and a Bosmer cannibal rave accepting a KINMUNE Ayrenn as Dominion queen.
Also, I'm currently replaying my old Xbox copy of Morrowind, with my character busy fighting liches in the sewers of Mournhold.
Hello, welcome to TIL :)
