Hi I'm Pixel_Toa. Even if I haven't used that name regularly in years, but it's just stuck with me in ES circles, so whatever.

I show up places occasionally, even if recently, I've pretty much cut down on most of my online interaction that isn't related to roleplaying or art, and even then, I'm getting a bit selective. Mostly because I'm sick of idiots on the internet, and I like pretending that the good things I like would be enjoyed by good people, even if that's a total lie. Even when the stuff I like isn't very good at all. Hehe.

Hey guys im Eoghan, real name Ewan (same thing different spelling really :p) ive been using the imperial library as my main source of info for elder scrolls lore for years now, its way better than the UESP could ever hope to be. I know its a small community but its one i like the look of and with skyrim coming out later this year i figure its the right time to introduce myself to it.

Hi All

I didn't see this topic earlier, so apologies for a slightly delayed introduction.  I'm Anand, aka Silverflash.  I live in India, and have been gaming for a little more than two decades now (started on computers, then moved to console out of necessity).

I'm a huge fan of RPGs in all their varied avatars and variations, primarily because of my love of good story-telling.  I believe that games and (to a lesser extent) movies are the primary art forms of the electronic age, and love RPGs for the extent to which the player is involved in the actual story-telling process.  I enjoy and play a wide range of games from action adventures to driving/racing to RPGs.

I started playing TES with Arena and Daggerfall, but missed out on Morrowind until much after its release.  Got all caught up before Oblivion was released, and have enjoyed experiencing the evolution of one of the truly great game universes of all time.

I found this site while looking to fill in the gaps in my knowledge of the lore of TES, and have enjoyed reading the discussions here.  Hope to contribute to some of them, and to keep learning from the loremasters.

Cheers

Anand

Hey, y'all.  I'm GK, an admin at The UESPWiki.  I've got a great respect for the differences between the wiki and TIL, and visiting noticed how much prettier the layout is than the last time I visited.  Not sure when it was changed, but it looks great!  The navigation seems slightly more user-friendly, as well.  Great job!

Hey nice to see you drop by!

We did a little upgrade to drupal a while ago, that probebly explains the layout.

Owh and since you're obviously human you should now be able to post without needing aproval.

Regulus Furius, Bard of Cyrodiil. A pleasure to meet you all. I joined this well put-together site foremost to RolePlay, so I will remain in character for the remainder of my stay, but I must note: I have used this site for much of my Tamrielic research and have been a loyal Guest to the site for many years and it is a pleasure to become a member of your community. In the event I find anyone willing to RolePlay, I will have one created with a story and system with which to do so, but until then, I hope to get to know each and every one of you.

May Vaermina Watch Over You.

Pretty sure I don't need an introduction, however, why can't I post new content on the forum? Thats what I'm being told at least. I have a few questions regarding towers.

We have a problem with spammers. I think these are human as they pass any captcha we put up. To catche these the first post you make is queued up for aproval and has to make sense in the context.

The volume of spam has died down a little recently. We're at one or two a week but it always seems to pick up when I remove the moderation.

Anyway you shoud be able to post anything now. Welcome to the forums.

I didn't notice this..

I'm just another fan of the exotic side to the elder scrollsverse.

Even though I rarely post I'm a huge lurker here.

Admittedly this is a very delayed introduction, I've had an account for 3 months or so.

I'm Athell, long time lurker. I'm getting a little sick of the official forums. The Skyrim sub-forum makes me a little angry now just by the sheer level of complaining that goes on.

I'm in the Fanfiction forum if you ever come looking. I used to post in Lore but...

Hello all. Nice, I'm not the only late introduction.

Athell, I couldn't agree with you more on the Skyrim forum. It is just horrible. The worst topics. I can't even reply to most out of sheer absurdity, and others are so far gone that it hurts my brain when it comprehends what I'm seeing. "Can we have extravagant weddings, like the Kardashians?" Are you fucking kidding me? I don't know. I usually only go in there when the other forums are silent. Hopefully it wisens up sometime after Skyrim is released.

Hi, I'm brand new here. I'm just extremely confused with this website's set-up, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Hey there, I was on here back before the website got changed around.  Couldn't remember my old username at all so I made a new one!

After reading a few posts at BGSF after a long break I couldn't take it and HAD to make a new username for here for the occasional comment in TESF Commentary.

Yeah, I remember you, I think. Welcome back.

And we all had to make new accounts, so don't mind forgetting anything.

Hello everyone, I am a lurker that commonly goes by the name BoomBox the Toaster (shorten it how you will.) You may or may not see me around, but I just thought I'd make myself known. c:

Hi! I'm a long time lurker on these boards but never actually got round to joining in until now. You guys have got a great little website here, and now I'm happy to be a part of it.

Hello, I'm "Ravenheart," long time lurker, first time poster. I've been skimming the ES beth soft forums for a long time and the IL for even longer. My goal is to learn everything that I can, I realized that observation can only do so much and apart of learning comes from interaction and discussion. :)

I wanted to create a back story for my character in Skyrim.  I figured this would be a good place to post, maybe some would be interested.  I would love to read back story from other fans before the game comes out.

Wellmet,

My name is Dantrag and I hail from the House of Televani, or what is left of it.  I am a distant relative to the once known and powerful Shuzug gro-Bug before he was slain by the Hortator.  It was unknown to many at the time but Shuzung fathered a child who was hidden within the ranks by those in his confidence in fear the child would be killed to clear up loose ends.  As time went on this line laid hidden within the ranks of Televani and several generations of Spellswords later I arrived.

It was during the Falling to the Ministry of Truth and the raids upon my homeland that I became of age to assume my position as an adult member of the House of Televani.  As I was finishing my ceremonial prayers to my anscestors I heard the screams and witnessed the fires spread across morrowind.

As trained I went to the meeting of the Elders to serve as a guard while they discussed plans for exile.  As the battles grew louder outside the door of our hidden meeting place I overheard one statement,

"The next Hortator will be found in the lands of Skyrim, and it is there we must exile until we can regain our house and homeland."

After this a crash of a door was followed by a blur of battle and spells.  Instinct of all my training took over, but I had not yet known true combat and soon became overwhelmed.   I was trained to keep an even temper even when facing death, but something arose from deep within.  The last thing I remember was screaming in utter rage passed the terrified looks of the elders and the hordes who were slaying them.  Then darkness....

Hi, my name is Bryce. I'm 22. I post occasionally on TESF lore section under the same username but thought I’d join up here to discuss even further (I’ve lurked for years; probably since Oblivion’s release). I live in Australia. Like mostly hardcore/punk music. Collect vinyl records. Voracious consumer of comics, manga and graphic novels and I read a lot as well.

Looking forward to learning more about The Elder Scrolls, so don’t mind me when I chime in randomly.

I know!  What can I say, I'm a natural-born killjoy.  I heard there was some kind of expansion pack for Oblivion coming out and I came to make fun of it.  Something or other about INFINITE DRAGONS.
