Here is where you can post threads or posts to be included in the Archives. If you're posting a quote only, please provide the date (in mm/dd/yy format) and the topic of the quote. If you're attaching something, please use the farch_ prefix and make it a plain HTML document. If its still on the forum, just send a link.
If I messed up or omitted anything from the archive proper, this is the place to berate me, too. Its still a work in progress, though, so hold up on the berating 'till I say I'm done. Ok, done, go ahead.
80% of the links were broken. Its been fixed. Ya'll are bad QAs :P
Aren't we missing the MK quote about Nirn being a ball of sentient schizophrenia? Or was that somewhere in the archived threads?
I don't recall that one.
I don't recall that one.
But that's the best quote ever.
He described Nirn as a world that is "impossible" and "doomed" and something else.

We archived this one yet?
Note to self: should add notes in the relevant books too.
Yep, its in there.
Librarians, any chance of getting the Summoning Day RP up on the archive?
Yes. Once we figure out who it was.
Cool, thanks for the reply. Annoyed at having to log onto TESF to read it is all. Thanks again!
How do we go about finding out? That is, other than just waiting and hoping someone will step up and claim ownership?
I'm 99% sure that its someone from Beth, since no one else who could have written something of that caliber has admitted to it. I was going to ask someone from Beth after the holidays.
The old trick was to ask the admins what the email ended with.
But people have different emails, especially if they're already using their official one for an official account :/
So far:
-No one of Temple Zero knows, or admits to it.
-MK says he doesn't know, but he says he says that he doesn't know the new writers.
-SJML (Shane Liesegang, designer at Beth) says that it's "not one of ours"
So we're stuck with 4 possibilities:
Someone at Bethesda in their free time, without publicizing it enough (thus neither MK nor SJML know), a fan (having trouble thinking of anyone who would do it without the Temple's knowledge), a former developer without telling anyone else (Ken comes to mind, given that it's all from Battlespire), or one or more of the polled peoples are leading me on.
I've PM'd the account, but I don't know when he last logged on.
[edit] Response received. All will be revealed, in time. Until then we sit and wait.

The wait may kill me...
We still don't know who wrote that?
Granted, it seems we also don't know who wrote Sotha Sil's last words...
It wasn't Kurt?
I actually thought it was Gary Noonan. Divayth Fyr the Psijic was his handle.
I can't keep track of who created who. When was "Sotha Sil's Last Words" written? I thought GT stopped writing TES stuff awhile ago.
He did stop writing a long time ago. If I had to guess I'd say SSLW were probably from around '04.
Man, we should put in all the new stuff like RETURN FALSE or Magne Ge Pantheon up. Their absence is especially grating.
Magne Ge will go up soon, some of the older stuff is already up. Don't know yet about the PGE2 stuff.
This is going to be mildly off-topic, but does anyone happen to have an archive of the RP about the Morrowind Civil War?
Shouldn't the Mortal Death to Z thread be archived?
Not from the PM, though it's pretty certain that it was Noonan. Wormgod on the axe and all.
Not sure if WWPD belongs in the archive (it's more fun and messing around than scholarly reading), but I'll see what others think. It's good to have it on the net in general, though, thanks for the links.
Slightly OT but not completely - several dev names were brought up. I know Tedders and Noonan are no longer writing for TES, but do we have any grasp about exactly who is left over from the old days? Let's say at least back to Morrowind if not earlier. I know Todd and Kurt were there for Redguard and Daggerfall. Was anyone there for Arena still around? Do we know much about who is left? The documentary and credits don't list everyone who contributed. I might be depressed with the answer but it'd be kinda neat to see just how high a percentage of the current lore writers were around for Morrowind.
Noonan is still around (he's an animator, though, not a designer). Bruce Nesmith is, too, and has been around since Daggerfall. Brian Chapin (Hoyt on the officials) worked on Morrowind, as did Alan Nanes. Emil joined with Bloodmoon, if you're counting that. I don't believe anyone else from design remains, but there are a many other folks in different disciplines who are still there. You can take this list - each name, when clicked, displays their other credits.
Christiane Meister is still here too... Her last "lore post" back from 2011...
I don't know she wrote books (perhaps one or two...?) or design, but as biologist she has contributed significantly on species (and flora...?), for example...
