Late King of Wayrest. His first wife was Carolyna, with whom he has a daughter, Elysana. After Queen Carolyna's death, Eadwyre married Barenziah, former Queen of Mournhold.

During the reign of Jagar Tharn. Barenziah and Eadwyre worked together to topple Jagar Tharn. From Tharn's diary, Barenziah managed to locate the piece of the Staff of Chaos, a staff that was used by Tharn to banish The Emperor Uriel Septim VII to Oblivion. She then relayed the information to the ghost of Ria Silmane. And in turn Ria would relay the information to her champion to collect the pieces of the staff.

After Barenziah deciphered the last location of the piece of the Staff of Chaos. Eadwyre and Barenziah secretly escaped from Imperial City. Concerning the political issue, although Tharn knows this escape, he just let them go. Barenziah then married to King Eadwyre and became the new Queen of Wayrest. She brought her two children (Helseth and Morgiah), and Eadwyre adopted them.

The relationship of the two Dunmeri children and Princess Elysana was unpleasant, especially between Helseth and Elysana. From the early days, they fought for the throne of Wayrest.

During the War of Betony, Wayrest remained neutral as Wayrest had other problems. Menaces from sea, the Iliac Bay pirates, and from the north, the Orcs of Orsinium. Eadwyre was unwilling to send troops for the war.

King Eadwyre is one of the seven retrievers of the Totem of Tiber Septim, a tool for controlling Numidium. Originally the Totem of Tiber Septim is only one, but a strange time-warping effect known as Warp in the West made all seven parties of Iliac Bay retrieved the totem. This caused Wayrest dramatically extended its territories. Wayrest now control the mouth of Bjoulsae River and increase prominently in power, politic and economy.

After the death of King Eadwyre, Princess Elysana finally won the crown of Wayrest, and she banished Barenziah and Helseth back to Morrowind. Morgiah in the other hand had already left Wayrest at that time.
