The Dame of Castle Navire

Gather 'round sailors and lend me an ear
I'll share ye a tale of love most severe
I've fought with raiders, faced frigid squalls
'Twas a joust at Navire that was my downfall

At herald's call we come far and wide
From mountain cliffs and bitter seaside
Arms up we cheer for our love most dear
Who was made a Dame at Castle Navire

Muscles tighter than sail ropes wound taught
A right hook nicknamed the one hit dreadnought
She grew up alone on Gonfalon streets
And never once knew a tourney defeat

At herald's call we come far and wide
From mountain cliffs and bitter seaside
Arms up we cheer for our love most dear
Who was made a Dame at Castle Navire

With sweat-matted hair she raised up her sword
And pointed its tip to Navire's knight lord
"I bested every knight, crushed every trial
I challenge to a joust the best of High Isle."

At herald's call we come far and wide
From mountain cliffs and bitter seaside
Arms up we cheer for our love most dear
Who was made a Dame at Castle Navire

Tween hoof beats and cheers the two fought hard
Broken shields tossed onto bloodied courtyard
Men young and old stood fearing her death
They came to a clash and we all held our breath

Now this dusty old pirate in all his years
Had ne'er been reduced to a puddle of tears
But when that dust settled and she did ride out
I'd give her the seas, because now I'm devout

At herald's call we come far and wide
From mountain cliffs and bitter seaside
Arms up we cheer for our love most dear
Who was made a Dame at Castle Navire
