The Story of Daggerfall

Click here to hide/show the introduction and the disclaimer.

As you might know, in The Elder Scrolls 2: Daggerfall you were supposed to carry out two missions from your employer, Emperor Uriel Septim. First, there was the matter of the restless soul of King Lysandus of Daggerfall. Second, and what you initially thought was no big matter, the Emperor wanted you to retrieve a misdelivered letter.

Due to some gameplay-related reasons, not everyone saw to the end of the storyline. For these unfortunate souls, and for reference purposes, this section of the site was created. It walks you through the main story of Daggerfall, and presents all the materials that you, the player, are supposed to learn as you fulfil the respective quests.

Positive disclaimer: reading on may spoil your gaming fun by providing clues and disclosing information that your character is supposed to learn as the main quest progresses.

Negative disclaimer: providing gameplay hints and spoilers is not the point of this section. If you are stumbled and looking for a hint, search elsewhere. These documents will not help you out.

Quest texts are © Bethesda Softworks. Some reference material from UESP was used.
