Michael Kirkbride's Texts

Douglas Goodall's Texts

  • The Dreadful Theft of the Sun's Dusk Ale by Rascien Wickersly
This entertaining tale is about a Breton who decides to reclaim barrels of stolen ale from a group of Imga.
  • The Fourth Book of Dust
  • Lusty Argonian Historical Society
Most of Jobasha's books are still in boxes, still unpacked. But here comes a young Breton to Jobasha's new shop, desperate to sell. Among the Breton's books (most of them, sadly, autobiographical) is this unusual item. It is heavily stained and, as we booksellers say, "slightly foxed." It appears to be notes from a historical society meeting.
  • Sermon Zero
This is a strange and offensive document about Vivec given to us by the Khajiit Trader, Jobasha (or AFFA MU). It is, in fact, a joke for Michael Kirkbride that was posted on the official forum. Some words of caution: if you ever see Michael Kirkbride, you probably shouldn't mention this Sermon.
Anyway, we think that this one is interesting and worth publishing. Obviously, this sermon really insults the Tribunal, especially Vivec, and we are sure that we will not see this sermon in the vast area of Vvardenfell. Once you've finished reading it, take a look at the Analysis on Sermon Zero.
  • The Soft Doctrines of Magnus Invisible
A short except from a document about Magnus and the origin of magic

Collaboration

  • The Redguard Forum Madness
Some fragments from in-character discussions at the TESA: Redguard forum in early 1999, when Morrowind was in early pre-production. This document was compiled from various developers' posts, and touches subjects such as the Arcturian Heresy, Numidium, Chimer and their relationship to Dunmer, and how to pronounce "Aldmeri". Features Kirkbridean ravings aplenty.
  • Xal-Gosleigh Letters
This series of letters was posted on The Official Forums by Ted "Tedders" Peterson (Gosleigh) and Michael Kirkbride (Xal).

Unknown Authors

  • Sotha Sil's Last Words...
These posts, made shortly before the release of Tribunal, were taken from the "Dwem, little dwemer of me..." thread on The Official Forums. It is unknown whether the person using the "Sotha Sil" alias was a developer or not, but we suspect it was.
