Summary
This interview was initially published at Hall of Adventurers.
For those of you who don't feel like making your way through obscure passages of the original interview,
I hereby decided to provide a brief summary. I will not cover points that were discussed elsewhere (in the PGE, for example).
- Dark Elves of house Redoran live in shells of giant insects. Killing one of those serves as an initiation ritual for youngsters.
- Due to natural isolation, most plants and animals of Morrowind are endemic to the province.
- According to the legend, it was Daedra Prince Boethiah who separated Chimer from the rest of Elven peoples.
- The crater of the Volcano is isolated by a magical barrier called Ghostfence.
- Dark Elves once used to worship Daedra as gods and ancestor-spirits. When the Tribunes came, they became chief deities of the land, and Daedra Princes had to step down.
Three of the Princes payed proper homage to the Tribunal. Four of the Princes refused to; these four are referred to as "Four Corners of the House of Troubles".
- Numidium was originally built by Dwarves. Then it was improved by the founders of the Septim Empire - General Talos and Zurin Arctus.
At that time, Mantella was created and Numidium first walked.
- Morag Tong is legal in Morrowind. Tiber Septim himself allowed for that.
- House Indoril once used to wield the greatest power of all.
Recently, their power dwindled in favor of House Hlaalu.
- The 6th Dunmeri Great House - House Dagoth - once used to live around the Volcano.
They were wiped out in the 1st Era.
- House Dagoth used to be unusually friendly with Dwarves.
- According to some rumors, Halls of the Colossus in Elsweyr was a secret lab of the Blades.
They worked on Numidium there, thus the name.
