Tamriel Gods

Xanathar's Note:
Thanks to Michael Kirkbride of Bethesda who gave me this almost complete Pantheons of Tamriel and answering my questions. This information is first published in Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages.
Also thanks to Andel Crodo for the permission to borrow the Monomyth, The Five Songs of King Wulfharth, High Elven Creation Myth, and Yokudan Creation Myth from the forum of The Essential Site.

The continent of Tamriel is separated into nine provinces or regions. They are Imperial Province or Cyrodiil; Hammerfell, the home of the former citizen-warrior of Yokuda Continent; High Rock, the home of Breton; Morrowind the land of Ash, the home of Dunmer or Dark Elves; Skyrim, the land of the Nord; Elsweyr, the home of intelligent cat, Khajiit; Valenwood, the home of Bosmer or Wood Elves; the Isle of Summurset, the home of Altmer or High Elves; and the swamp Black Marsh, the home of the human-like reptile, Argonian.

Here in these documents, I only have eight of those races's pantheon information. I don't know yet, what the religion of the resident of Black Marsh, the Argonian is.

So, this list is by no means complete (the Imperial City of Cyrodiil itself has nearly an infinite number of saints and holy spirits); it only touches on the most important spirits revered by region. Other et'Ada, especially Daedra, should be considered to be known to all cultures, though specific names are only here when they warrant a particular cultural significance.

For your information, you will see that many Daedra Princes are considered as gods. For this issue, Michael Kirkbride explained, "Most Human (Imperial) cultures regard the Daedra as separate from the Gods of the Eight Divines, true. Elven cultures, however, do not distinguish between 'Gods' and 'Very Strong Ancestors'. Thus, 'Daedra', in this sense, which means more-or-less 'Not OUR Ancestors', are of the same level of power." Further, he said that Oblivion is not regarded by any culture as necessarily an 'evil' place; neither is Aetherius a 'good' one.
