This time, I have translated the writings in the book "Shalidor's Insights" (In the "Oghma-Shalidor" alphabet), which are the subjects of this post (and are in portuguese again - like the Oghma Infinium).

This text speaks about the similarities between Akatosh and Alduin and the Nordic dichotomy between these two entities.

The big letters (symbols) are: "H" and "C". (Initials about what? I have no idea...)

The text is (Ipsis litteris):

ALDUIN A

VARIA O

N RDICA DE

AKATOSH E

S SUPERFI

C I A L

M E N T E

PARECESE

COM O SEU

COLEGA NOS

Putting the words together (The letters between [?] are possible letters, to make sense in the sentece):

 ALDUIN [é] A VARIA[ç][ã]O N[ó]RDICA DE AKATOSH E S(*) SUPERFICIALMENTE PARECE-SE COM O SEU COLEGA NOS"

(*) I could not find a sentence or word that can complete it.

We can translate to:

"Alduin is the nordic variation* of Akatosh e 'S' superficially resembles his colleague* NOS"

* Or "aspect" in this sentence;

* Perhaps "equal" or "the same kind", refering to the Dovah;

*"NOS" can be a preposition ("at the") or a pronoun ("us"). Perhaps, if "NOS" is a pronoun, the sentence might mean about "How the mortals look the similarities between Akatosh and Alduin, seeing these two like One"

I use the same codex that appears the Master Illusion Texts: /content/master-illusion-text

------

I hope we can translate and discover the secrets behind those tomes! Let us work on this!

There's no way they chose that passage at random. They knew exactly what they were doing making it say that.

Well well. I agree. I think the whole thing is a cool find.

The (*) you didn't find is an ó. Só means just/only.

 It’s the language of the Nine divines(The Aedra) and the Daedra

“Aludin is the Nordic variation of Akatosh and only superficially resembles his counterpart in us.”

Us being the Et’Ada(The Aedra and Daedra) but with emphasis on the Aedra known as the nine divine wishing for this passage to keep them in the good graces of man like a press release. Unfortunately Shalidor made a poor outlet as his works were to complex for most to understand. Lucky for them though men are forgetful creatures.

Basically the same thing Shalidor writes above it “Alduin World Eater: Aludin is the Nordic variation of Akatosh and only superficially resembles his counterpart in the Nine Divines. For example Alduins sobriquet the 'world eater' comes from myths that depict him as the horrible ravaging firestorm that destroyed the last world to begin this one.”

The first part is basically Shalidor’s guide to translating the language, most likely learned by conversing with Hermaes Mora or perhaps from one of the Aedra again trying to keep in the good graces of man, with very little insight on his own part and was most likely biased torwards winning the favor of the Nine Divines. Which I only mention because actually reading the lore points in another direction. Lorkhan(The destroyer of the old world) being Akatosh(The creator of the new world) being Alduin(The World Eater) after all and thus slightly contradicting that it was purely mythical.

(P.s) I would’ve did this whole discussion in kajhiit dialect if I wasn’t worried it would cause confusion.

In the OP there is a link to a Google doc. where we record all of our translations thus far. We also have a channel on The Imperial Library's Discord server pecifically made for discussions on Shalidor's Insights.
