Please keep in mind that we haven't moved everything over here yet. There are going to be a lot of missing items. To help us out, you can focus on the things that are here and the Drupal management system itself, for now.
In terms of general feedback, do we really need the words "Random Quote" above the random quotes. Its sorta stating the obvious and makes it look... not sure what the word I'm going for here is, something akin to 'tacky'.
Also, what's with this white box around my avatar?
Xan will have to check on the "Random Quote" display options.
I find the white box around the avatars bothersome too. Once again, we will have to check the settings.
Here's something annoying I found: The order of people's replies depend on which post you reply to. If you reply to the very first post, your new comment will be placed above certain other ones. If you reply to someone in the middle of the chain, your reply will be inserted right after theirs. If you reply to the very last post, you response goes at the very end. I do not like that. If we are going to keep it this way, we are going to have to do something about the layout (Indenting of replies/hierarchy) so people can follow the discussions better.
There are some grammar errors in the introduction.
I would rewrite that as:
Removed the last sentence entirely, as it is redundant and makes everything look weird (imo, of course). The biggest error is "since 1998 to these days" which is repeated in the intro news post. I rewrote it as "from 1998 to today".
[edit] also, I can't post unless I preview first. Its actually a pretty good safeguard against stupid spam and bad formatting, but people are likely to get confused.
Xan and I have been going back and forth with that Welcome Message; each of us keeps overwriting each other's changes. I changed the message using your suggestions. Thanks.
Hey, B. Doesn't really involve the lore part of the library, but eh, I can't send Private Messages. Just wondering if there is a certain requirement within time of membership, or if there is just something wrong with the webpage (which I do doubt).
Alright? Why did my post go to #1 slot immediately?
Everyone should be able to send PMs. I sent one to you. Did you receive it? If you still can't send them, we will have to look at the settings. Let me know, and we'll add it to the list.
The reason why your post went where it did is because of the way these forums are displaying them. It threads them based on which post you are replying to (forgive the preposition at the end of this sentence). I don't like the setting (nor the preposition). We have to mess with the settings.
I sincerely hope we don't have to keep it this way, its annoying as hell trying to place the order of the posts.
I completely agree. Xan is the man to ask, and it's 1:39 AM where he is right now.
BTW, quoting of posts is broken...
Thank you for your patience.
To send a PM, go to Messages, click on the "Write new message" tab, compose your message, and then send.
So it took me a while to figure out why some member names were red and some orange - never been on a forum where it changes depending on whether you've viewed their profile or whether they've updated it.
Its also slightly odd that we're forced to preview our posts before actually posting them.
Its no longer marking forums as updated for me, although threads still have the -updated tag after them.
Also, for some weird reason, the horizontal rule isn't showing up on new librarian comments I make. works fine on old ones though
There's two places that says "Input format". Make sure the one right below the Librarian Comments is marked as Full HTML and not Filtered HTML. I did the same thing myself.
Post ordering issue... fixed.
Quoting post issue... fixed.

Yay!
EVERYTHING LOOKS AWESOME TO ME
FYI everyone: Tables won't center when viewed with Firefox, Opera, or Chrome. Right now they only work in IE. It's a Microsoft conspiracy!

I will ask one of our ninja-nighblades to infiltrate Microsoft, to get the formula of the center table. And then we will share the formula with the rest of the browsers.
Tell me if this works:
If it does, I just wrapped the table in a paragraph tag and centered that. Its not perfect, but it should work (looks fine on Safari)
[edit]...nevermind. It works in the preview, but not in the final thread.

Yeah, it's probably CSS error with table. I will troubleshoot tomorrow.
Edit: It works! Our ninja-nightblades strike again!
Looks fine in safari as well :)

Fantastic!
Hello everyone.
Thought I would pop in and say that it looks good. And I'll hopefully get the time to finish something I have been working on for a long time soon enough.
Looks fantastic by the way.
Any Idea when the Calendar will be up?
I use this place a LOT when modding and it being down the whole while has been making me expectant to see the calender again...
Any Idea when the Calendar will be up?
No one is working on it at the moment. I'll do it after finishing the Oblivion books, if none of the librarians object.
[edit] It appears that I cannot edit my post if it is the start of a thread.

I won't object

Try using the Edit tab at the very top of the page just under the title. It should be in the same location as where you would go to edit a book page.

Didn't even think of that, heh. It works, thanks.
