Animals

Bear, Grizzly

Bears are all over Solstheim. If you see one, be careful. They're vicious fighters.

Hircine can turn into a Bear.

Bear, Plague

Diseased Bears with a more powerful attack.

Bear, Snow

Snow Bear

Bristleback, Tusked

Tusked Bristleback

A cruel and vicious animal. The Rieklings use them as mounts, and have bred the creatures to be even more warlike and dangerous.

Horker, Black

Black Horker

The only Black Horker in the game appears during the main quest.

Odd beasts. Seem fairly docile, but they can be vicious if provoked. They are strong swimmers and fierce fighters, on land and in the sea.

Raven

The only Raven in the game is actually a shapeshifted Witch. Encountered during the Cure For Lycanthropy quest "Rite Of The Wolf Giver".

Wolf, Black

Black Wolf

Fast and agile, and they are careful and clever hunters and may travel in packs.

Wolf, Hircine's Aspect

Hircine's Wolf Aspect

Hircine can turn into a Wolf.

Wolf, Plague

Plague Wolf

Another diseased animal with a more powerful attack.

Wolf, Snow

Snow Wolf

Snow Wolves are larger, more elusive cousins of Solstheim's common Wolves. They have a thick coat that protects them from the frost and cold. It is said their attacks have been known to freeze human flesh.

Monsters

Giant, Frost

Frost Giant

The only Frost Giant in the game, Karstaag, is fought near the end of the main quest.

Lycanthrope, Werewolf

Werewolf

A man who turns into a beast when the night falls. They deal terrific damage with their claws, but are more susceptible to attacks by silver weapons.

Riekling, Normal

Riekling

Vicious creatures that look like Ice Goblins.

Riekling, Raider

Riekling Raider

A much tougher type of Riekling that rides a Tusked Bristleback, can regenerate, and can reflect spells back at the spellcaster.

Spriggan

Spriggan

Essentially, walking trees with a powerful attack and the ability to regenerate in larger form than before. They must be killed three times before they'll finally stay dead.

Udyrfrykte

Udyrfrykte

The defeat of the Udyrfrykte is the goal of the Miscellaneous quest "The Mead Hall Massacre".

Troll, Grahl

Grahl

Dangerous to be sure. Their claws and tusks rend armor and tear flesh. They will attack alone or in packs.

Undead

Bonewolf

Bonewolf

Foul beasts, brought into existence by black magic.

Draugr, Lord

Draugr Lord

The only Draugr Lord in the game is Aesliip.
