Please note that everything in Arena Description, Daggerfall Description and Morrowind Description is official as long as we don't use "Xan's Note" or "Sinder Velvin's Note", which we sometimes use since not every artifact has a description of its own. Or sometimes we just use it to add more information about that particular artifact. The History part is always Xan's own note (sometimes slightly modified by Sinder Velvin), made with information from various quest files of Arena and Daggerfall, and also from TESCS. He combined them together to make a nice history of each artifact with the assumption that if the specific artifact exists in a certain game, then the hero of that game (the character controlled by the player) will find and use it.
